Wow this place is worth the stop when heading to pelee! Cash only but they have an atm inside the really neat double decker bus set up. Poutine is amazing and they do not chince out on curds and gravy. Massive size for $6. Your furry friend is allowed to join you on the patio!

Excellent perch tacos! This place came highly recommended. There's a nice patio area with umbrella and a water misting option towards the back of the property. Lovely owners/managers and an ice cream or snow cone option if you want!

Excellent food. Very Reasonable prices. I loved their perch po' boy and their tacos are also delicious. You might want to try it outside of food "rush hour", because it can get rather busy.

Fish tacos to die for. Retro style food truck in an old double decker bus. Takes about ten minutes to get your food. We went in the rain so options were limited for staying dry, but overall we were thrilled with the quality of this gem.

The great reviews here boggle my mind. Waited an hour, paid $19 for 3 of the smallest pieces of perch I have ever been served. So tiny and flat there was no way to cook them other than overdone. Worst perch on our entire trip and we are perch a lot.

We went here September 4 2021. We were told when ordering that the wait would be 40 minutes. It was 6:10 and we received our food at 7:30. It was hot and quite good but not 1 hour and 20 minutes worth good. Honestly how long does it take to fry fish and chips? We will not return.

While the wait time wasn't obvious, it was worth it! We shared a 5 piece Perch Cone with fries and slaw, and it was the best Fish and Chips of my summer. The Garlic dipping sauce that was included was amazing on both the fish and the fries, and it reminded me of a Mediterranean garlic sauce. Lemon wedge and lots of ketchup and vinegar for the fries was included too. Had decent shade under the umbrellas and there was lots of seating to be socially distant, even though it was quite busy.

This was refreshing stop to a little day trip. The perch was pretty awesome and very fresh! Love birdie sauce! If I brought the family up here I would most certainly stop and try the Reuben hotdog!

My first time here and the minute I saw the red bus, I could not keep my eyes off it. Very unique and you can't miss this place whenever you are visiting in Leamington. Can't go wrong with Fish Tacos. The small fries has a very huge serving so my partner and I had it for share.

Pleasant place to stop for a meal. I don't know how they do it but I gotta say I think their fries are the best I've ever had - anywhere in the world (and I've been to 56 countries)! I don't know if it's the oil they use or if they twice fry them but whatever it is, these are my ideal fries. They're kinda like Swiss Chalet's only bigger, crispier and tastier. They don't even need gravy to be good (but I'll try it next time anyway). Also great is their secret sauce. It's like sriracha mayo but not spicy. Great on the burgers or for dipping fries or perch. I'll definitely stop here again next time I'm in the area.

The classic double decker bus makes you wanna stop by and see what's the hype is all about! Lots of tables and lots of parking and it always seems to be busy. Even tho its busy there will be a spot for you. The food is amazing! Staff very nice! Covid19 safe!

Considering the "restaurant" is a refurbished double decker bus, the food was outstanding. First off, there is no indoor seating, so you're left to dine in the elements. On the day of my visit, a storm blew in and I had to eat in my car. I had perch tacos. They were excellent and were loaded with garlic. Fries are thick cut and some of the best I've had. Dining companion had a Reuben Hot Dog...smothered in sauerkraut and onions. He said it was amazing. Highly recommend this place

Recently while visiting Kingsville/Leamington area with friends we had heard about Birdie's Perch and decided after a morning at Point Pelee National Park to stop for lunch, can say we were definitely not disappointed! Perch, fries and perch tacos all were delicious, served fairly quick considering all the people and COVID protocols. Birdie's sauce was fantastic and wish we could have purchased it by the bottle to bring home! There was ample seating between tables with umbrellas and picnic tables in the shade. Great little gem and glad we had the opportunity to check it out and would go back if ever in the area again.

I truly love the perch and sauce. It's a unique batter with a subtle tang to it. I don't know how they do their cooking but it takes sooooo long each time we've been. 30-45 minutes. Even with that, it still gets 5 stars. It's that good.

Best Perch on Lake Erie! And the fries are to die for! Yes the wait maybe long at times, but there is usually a spot to sit, rest and enjoy the music. You could have dessert before dinner! As an ice cream stand is situated next door. No trip to the beach is complete without a stop here!

Maybe because it was Canada Day, but the perch tacos were not good, all 3 of them. The perch was not tender and seemed like it was cooked earlier in the day then reheated...the soft taco shell was also not fresh. The fries were excellent but you can get fries anywhere. Memorable but not for the right reasons and prices have gone up again this year. $43 for 3 tacos and fries. We live nearby and we would normally do this 3 or 4 times a year, but we are done for this year.

Stumbled across this place as noticed the crowd of people gathered in front of the double decker bus take out stand, waiting for their food orders. Was warned our food would take 25 minutes during busy dinner time, but was worth the wait! Most people were ordering fish but I’m not a fish eater. Had the beef taco -was pleasantly surprised as wasn’t made with ground beef, it was chopped beef slices and the sauce was delicious. (Ensure you like cilantro!) And try their homemade ketchup….amazing!!! Wish they bottled it as it was soooooo good. Will be returning!
