The staff is so helpful. If I ever need something cut up special, they do it, no problem. They have really fresh meat, but also other groceries as well. Our favourites are the Parmesan cheese, stonewall kitchen sauces and specialty barbecue sauces. When they have it in season, their local garlic is awesome.

Only loss of a star was from not seeing consistently the owner not wearing his mask during a public mandate. Turns me off when seeing his workers following the rules & he's not as the owner when so many people are inside! Set the example Mr.Owner! Such polite & courteous staff also!

By far the best butcher in Chatham Kent. If you are willing to spend a little more money for quality meats, there is no better place. All of the servers are well dressed, groomed and ready to serve you right as you enter the door. If you don't know what you want, ask for a few samples and they can help you decide. Very knowledgeable and the quality of meats is fantastic. We have been customers for more than 20 years!

I go to Schinkels weekly and it never disappoints. Now addicted to the jumbo ballpark hotdogs. The ready made meals come in handy - love the pulled pork mac n cheese as well as the lasagna. For the BBQ I would say the baseball steak is best I have ever had.

Absolutely the best meat in town. Their pre-prepaid salads are great too. As are the their various pre-made meat dishes (e.g shish-kabobs, stuffed chicken, etc). Also unknown to most people they offer the best sandwiches in town! You can choose from any of their meat, and their extensive cheese stock, and then top it how you like. This is the best hidden secret they have!! If they ask "Hast thou slain the Jabberwock?" respond "Callooh! Callay!" and enjoy the rewards.

Best meat in town I've been going here since I was a young boy. Keeps getting better, always carrying new exciting products (sauces, cheeses, produce, desserts) definitely somewhere you need to visit before a special meal or holiday gathering. All the sausage, lunch meat and pepperettes are house made. Also have great house made salads. If you are into smoked BBQ this is your place as well, as they are a Trager smokers dealer. Wait times are always super low because of how well staffed they are at all times. Can't say enough good about this place!

Easy access wheelchair friendly entrance and parking. Clean well organized. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices appear to be reasonable. Didn't have the Andoulle sausage that I needed in stock (it seems to be the norm at the moment for most butchers).

Not only was the quality superb, but John took the time to provide a few accessories and a recipe. The meat turned out exquisite and the family couldn't have been happier. Definitely try an "oven sear" on their roasts - amazing!
