Good was pretty good, my wife's steak was pretty small for the price. One of the table staff brought extra spiced beans for our daughter which was a plus but our server was behind the entire time we were there. She never checked our appetizer course and we were almost finished our meal by the time she came to check on us in fact we got the bill at that point. Over all not terrible but the service was quite disappointing.

On Oct 30/202 we went on a double date here, the service was excellent, no complaints there, however the food was not good! The steak was awful, 2 was ordered one well done (it was barely med done) one was med well done ( it was 1 min cooked blood running ) rib and wings were also ordered, ribs was dried and over baked, wings were dried out, pasta noodles were undercooked, and the vegetables were undercooked, don't know what happened in the kitchen on this evening, but something needs to be done, what are the chances of getting 4 meals that are all bad? The one star goes to the beautiful lady that served us well done. -thank you

Love the new look, it's been awhile but it looks more streamlined and clean...cleaning vacated tables more efficiently would help maintain the look. Service was slow for an off peak time, our food was great. Sloppy fish sandwich was a small portion, burger was amazing, fajita was good as always and the Asian chicken salad was good but should have come with dressing...overall an awesome dinner with the game in the background.

The waitresses were wonderful very polite. However, that was all that was nice the wait for our entrees was much longer than it should have been we had people get their food before us and what was worse was the bugs attacking our 11month old who was a trooper till he got really hungry and tired of waiting/ being eaten himself. Lastly, I didn't even get the garlic bread that I was charged for.... If it weren't for the waitresses this would be a 0* review things like this should NOT happen

Do not bother. Have come to Chatham on business over the last year. Steak asked for rare and got medium well. Wings next and small and tough. Fish and chips okay. Salmon overdone. Tried wings again and no change. Steak tough, asked for rare and got medium. Burger, patties overdone. All orders were 45 min to 60 min wait time. Waitresses friendly. Overpriced. More value for your money at McDonald's or Swiss chalet.

Fantastic service. Our server took care of us promptly, management was walking around making sure all was good and another gentleman came to check on us and topped the visit off with a free desert. Perfect service and that spicy chicken sauce is glorious.

We visited for dinner last Friday November 20th and it was truly fantastic. We were greeted at the door immediately and brought to a table where we ordered some drinks, and dinner. Waitress was super positive, energetic and helpful. We had the supervisor visit the table more then once to ensure everything was ok and it definitely was. Our cheat meal coming from the gym was a half nachos that we shared and chicken fingers with two types of sauces to try. Definitely recommend the apple butter and Smokey BBQ sauces as we enjoyed both and couldn’t decide which we liked more. Look forward to our next visit!!

I ordered the portobello mushroom burger and funnel cake fries for take out. The burger was absolutely horrendous: very bland and greasy. The funnel cake fries were surprisingly good even though I had it as take out (only reason why I'm giving an few stars)...the ice cream came in a separate container so it didn't instantly melt on the hot fries.

We had a reservation for a large group for lunch. We had given the orders the previous evening to ensure we were served in a timely manner. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. Our orders were served within 10 minutes of sitting down and for the most part all correct. Just wanted to commend the staff for a job well done and to the management that coordinate everything. Great overall experience!

The worst Kelseys I have ever been to. Received horrible service and not a single meal at a table of four was correct or even edible. We all left hungry with barely touched plates, with 80 dollar bills. The only reason they get two stars is because they “rectified” the issue by sending myself and the other couple at my table a 50 dollar gift card. I think they should’ve at least given us back what we spent, but we used the card at a Kelseys that wasn’t disgusting and despite being over priced the food was pretty good.

While the waitress was good, that is really all that was. The hostess was very rude when we asked for silverware, it took well over an hour for our meal to arrive. The meal itself was mediocre at best, with what looked like maybe a 6 ounce steak being sold as an 8 ounce, the chicken in the chicken ceasar salad was burnt, and the alfredo sauce was not even actually alfredo sauce. Overall I would never recommend it to anyone. It was also way overpriced for what you get.

Had a chicken caesar salad. The chicken was burnt and therefore tasteless. Bacon bits tasted stale and a third of the lettuce was either soft and/brown you could only see it after stirring it. What a waste of money.

Went here on Valentine's Day so I'll let a few things slide, we asked if a better table was available which there clearly was and the waitress said she'd check but never got back to us. We got nachos to start and they had hardly any toppings and were burnt to a crisp. It took 50 minutes from when we got our appetizers for our food to arrive. I won't even mention the quality of the food.. will not come here again anytime soon.

Great friendly service! Had the Salt and Vinny Fish and chips. Tasty hot good sized portions. Had a nice cold Lemonade to drink instead on pop. Fast service to refill drinks. I recommend to book a reservation as seating can be limited due to Covid. Jocelyn was our server and took our reservation. The staff a very persistent cleaning tables and chairs. Lots of hand sanitizer available.

Went here for my birthday. The ribs first came out bloody. Sent them back and they microwaved them till they were rubber. Asked for new ones and the waitress brought the plate back to the kitchen to talk to the cook and manager. She brought us our drinks and mine had a fruit fly in it. When I pointed it out the waitress said "that happens a lot. They get stuck in the toppers of the liquor bottles". That's when the manager came out and said they wouldn't be making new ribs and microwaving them is cooking them. We walked out and won't go to a Kelsey's anywhere because of this experience.

I wouldn't recommend this place ever the food and staff were not very nice or good to me and my family at all waited over an hour to be served my food. Ordered the pulled pork and 25 minutes later they come out and say it's all gone would you like Anythjng else. Terrible I will never be back here again!!!

I normally hesitate placing larger orders later in the evening (at any restaurant) but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food I received. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious and ready in minutes when I arrived. The manager on duty, I believe her name was Elaine, was also kind and courteous while I waited. I can't wait to get back there when we can eat inside, seeing the service I received just picking up food.

We went there on Valentine's Day and placed a take out order for 6:15. We arrived on time, and they said our order was not ready. They told us to wait in the parking lot. We waited, in total, for an hour. We watched countless skip the dishes drivers come and go. After an hour, I finally got a phone call saying they had been trying to reach me and that our food was ready. I had never received a call prior to, so that was very upsetting. They had the audacity to ask us if we still were going to want our food! After we already paid over $70!!! I looked at our receipt after we got our food and it said packaged at 5:56pm!!! Clearly, someone lied about that! Will NEVER be going back! On top of that, the food quality was lacking. Vegetables were still hard and uncooked, while the other vegetables were overcooked, and the steak was burnt to a crisp. Food was disgusting.

Over an hour to get our food, Mac and cheese balls were cold, grilled bbq chicken burger was terrible are none of it, asked for rice got fries and the only time we seen the waitress was when we ask got up and started walking out the door. I have never walked into an empty restaurant and had to wait over 30 minutes for food and service. The first waitress we had was not even focused on us then shortly after we got an amazing lady who tried really hard. But the kitchen staff are apparently very slow. Seems to be poorly run by the management. I saw way more servers then customers. Service should be not that bad.

Service took forever, not a good place to visit at all if you have places to go to after you eat. It wasn't even that busy with mostly empty tables and people sitting by themselves at tables of 4. The waitresses are always there, but the kitchen takes an eternity. Soup I ordered tasted funny, I can't really put my finger on it. Pasta I ordered was overcooked to mush, I don't understand how they could have messed something up as simple as boiling pasta in water for 8 minutes or whatever, it must have been in there for 20 minutes. The sauce with the pasta was also very weird for it's taste, the goat cheese they had with it was off putting and it overall just didn't work. I tried some of the other food people ordered, some was great, most of it was okay. The price isn't high so it has that going for itself. I think this place would be great if the chefs stepped up their game and learned to cook and if the food was done substantially faster, I've been to fully booked places that serve in half of the time of this place. They will go out of business if they keep this up. Any other place or even fast food I think is the better option. I don't think their kitchen knows what it is doing.

It was our first experience returning to restaurants during the ongoing pandemic. We were so pleased with the service and care that Jocelyn gave us as our server. She made our experience feel safe, and comfortable. We had our young son with us, and she made sure that his food came out first so he could eat while we waited for ours. Overall a great experience, with great staff and great food.

We ate there yesterday and were disappointed. The silverware was dirty and had some sort of sauce on the napkin wrapping it. Chicken fingers were dry and overdone, one was burnt. Cauliflower appetizer was overcooked and the insides were mushy. There was no milk for tea. There was no coffee. Perhaps due to covid. Won't be going back for a while.

I hate to be a Karen but I had a horrible experience at Kelseys. All I wanted was chicken wings and they were out of the sauce I wanted which was no big deal. But then when I got my chicken wings they were so over cooked they tasted horrible. I had two then realized there was a hair in my food. One bad experience doesn't bother me but this is the second time this has happened and I’ve heard that it’s happened to lots of other people. When your paying $18 for chicken wings I expect them to atleast be cooked properly.

So, like a couple other people who wrote a review. My wife and I went here for Valentine's 2020. They had a birthday party scheduled that was around 50 people and took up one whole side of the restaurant. So they made their money either way, but the rest of the tables got completely ignored. We had the pleasure of being seated right beside the maitre'd desk and listening to the waitresses come and laugh and make jokes about how everyone was getting upset. Every tables order was wrong, incomplete and cold. People left, people yelled. It was a mess. My wife and I asked to be moved to a booth as we were trying to make the best of our Valentine's meal and we were getting tired of overhearing the staff make rude jokes about how upset everyone was. Our meal as well as everyone else's had substituted ingredients, cold, burnt. The waiter " John" was awesome and apologized continuously. The manger and head cook are obviously inept, useless. For a birthday party to be scheduled, means they were in no way blind sided by the fact the restaurant was going to be this busy. And senior staff cared very little about the problems as they new all too well they were making big money and tips on the other side of the dining room. Even laughing at people's frustration. Sad sad example of a Kelsey's they did give us 30 percent off our meal, but it was horrible experience not worth what we did pay

Customer service was not great from the second I walked in the door. Ordered online and I came in and waited at the front for at least 5 minutes until a girl came out and I told her I had an order and she told me to just go stand over here then I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes until I couldn't even find somebody, then the salad that clearly states that it's a chicken salad did not come with chicken, called the store and they argued with me telling me that is not a problem on their end. Food was mediocre at best. Do not recommend this place at all!!

The last few times my family and I have ate here the food and prices didn't wow us. I think they need some more supervision in the kitchen checking the quality of food before it is sent out. I noticed the portions of sides have decreased since they renovated and I use to love this place, but they need to change the quality and quantity for the price you pay.

We have been generally been happy with Kelsey’s for eat-in. With COVID, we have ordered take-out from Kelsey’s on three occasions. Their location is convenient for us. The food has always been hot and they have always gotten our order correct. The staff are pleasant. The app is easy to use. Their curbside pick up is efficient. Our order is always ready at the time requested. Thanks for continuing to offer this service. We wish the staff at Kelsey’s all the best as they continue to work through the pandemic.

I ordered a half rack of ribs (my favourite) and they were cold. so I told the waitress , and she brought the plate in the kitchen and she came back after like 5 minutes with the same one and kind of warm and inside was cold. so I told her again and she just said, so what do you want instead of. like no manager nobody came to even apologize...and also my friend order a drink and we had to remind her about it, and wasn't busy at all...I'm manager to a restaurant and let me tell you, they need to work on the customer service and the kitchen area.

We had take out tonight from Kelseys and loved it as usual. Their spinach dip is amazing! The goat cheese and beet salad is to die for. We also got the Buffalo chicken sandwich. Delicious. And always a favorite their chicken tenders. The breading is so good! Highly recommend and look forward to our next take out. Ps. Staff are so pleasant to deal with!!!

Absolutely horrible; table service was slow. My mashed potatoes came back cold. Had to ask for another serving. She didn't clear the table from appetizers so there was empty stuff everywhere, we had to ask for another server to actually clear it. Our server never asked if we needed anything which ended up with the whole table of 6 waiting for more beer / refills for 8 minutes. Chicken strips were dry and cold. Steak was overcooked twice when I sent it back. There were alot things that made this night poor! Bad food, bad service. Kelsey's ain't what it use to be.

They did mess up our order on a few things unfortunately, so I would suggest they wright the orders down instead of trying to remember them all. No we didn't send stuff back as it's not worth it and the wait time for food was longer then normal. We enjoyed the experience for a first time out in some time!!

Not typical Kelseys standards. Burger was overcooked and dry. My sons chicken fingers were burnt. We sent them back and they were still burnt. Sadly we commented beforehand how we really hadnt had a bad experience at a Kelseys before. I guess its like saying shutout with 5 minutes to go in a hockey game (jinks). Wifes wrap was good. Service was just ok. It would have been nice to have been checked in on instead of flagging someone down. ***UPDATE*** I put my concerns on the link provided and no one ever got back to me. The website experience measured up to this location... not good.

Probably won’t ever go back to this kelseys lol, at least the one in Chatham! As someone who worked here, definitely not appetizing now.. seeing that the workers, managers, etc, touch ALL food that is cooked/uncooked with BARE hands. No masks are worn in the back area. Hands are NOT washed all the time, or sanitized. Working their in a short while, heard more customers and coworkers complain about the food there, or needing to be sent back. Not a fan!! But, hopefully they learn, or I’ll just be off to a new better kelseys, or try a new restaurant!

This location was good. I used it quite a bit as it was close to my hotel and their hours were convenient. The menu was a bit tricky as I do not eat meat. However, they do make a good Caesar salad. When I requested lemon wedges, it was perfect. The fried pickles were probably the best I have ever had! The fish and chips was disappointing. Hats off to the chefs and manager at this restaurant. If it wasn’t for them, they would be getting one star instead of two! The food is decent but the service is consistently horrendous, to the point where I don’t think I’ll be returning. Tonight’s awful experience featured a waitress who made us very uncomfortable AND blamed us multiple times after screwing up our order, despite us saying everything was okay and that we just wanted to get our order fixed.

Tonight we went to Kelsey’s for the first time in awhile. The food was great, but our server was even better! Jocelyn was without a doubt the best server we have ever had. She was sweet, friendly, and kind. She made relatable conversation, didn’t forget anything, and was very quick. She was joking with us about how her husband orders the same way my boyfriend does; no veggies. We were so impressed and she did an amazing job. We would come back just to have her as a server! Awful experience. Reservations were made for 530pm, there were 8 of us. Watched families come, be served and leave while we didn’t start receiving our food (which was brought out at staggered times) until approximately 7pm. We waiting 1.5 hours to receive our food. Vegetables undercooked, a burger that was incorrectly made with mayonnaise brought back to the table “remade” minutes later with spots of mayonnaise remaining. After vowing to never return my last awful experience two years ago we will legitimately NEVER be returning.

Can't comment on the food, we didn't get that far. We were led to a table and it was so dark we couldn't even read the menu, and it was way too noisy. Why do you have to have it so dark? We got up and left and went to Wimpy's next door. In there it is bright and we can see each other and the menu, and there is NO loud music. It doesn't deserve even one star.

Ordered wings, and they were over-cooked and dry. There was scarcely any meat on any of them. It was also the first time that I have had wings served without dip for the carrots and celery, or with only one napkin. My wife had fish and chips, and not only did it seem like a skimpy quantity, but they were cold. It seems that maybe it was a tough night in the kitchen, as another couple complained about the quality of their food. Cleanliness was questionable, given the cobwebs on the frame of the window beside me. When we stood to leave, discovered the floor was sticky. Add to this that paying via a card seemed to have a default amount set, and you have created a recipe that will leave me shunning this place for the foreseeable future.

Best experience ordering take-out ever! I ordered dinner for my mom on Mother's day, and the staff really went above and beyond. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and efficient. But not only that, they also gifted my mother a flower, and inside our take-out bags was a mother's day colouring page, a coupon, and some heart shaped chocolates. Beyond satisfied with my experience here :)

Came in and stood in the entryway for more than 5 minutes while numerous staff made eye contact from the bar area but nobody acknowledged us, that should have been our cue to leave. The restaurant was not busy at all but everything took forever. We sat in the bar area and spent much of our meal listening to the personal conversations between staff behind the bar while we waited to place our order, to receive our drinks, to get the bill etc... Food was mediocre.

The server was wonderful. The size of the salad though was too small for my liking and significantly overpriced. I could have made it at home for $1; it was primarily romaine lettuce. Thought we would go to Kelley's for dinner first no cell phone, that's an issue as you have to scan their bar code and enter all your personal information including email address. Typical greasy bar food. Tried it for the first time last night and wasn't impressed. Fried calamari couldn't hold the batter to itself, Portabello burger was average. However, we did like their Nachos but wont be going their just for them. My colleagues tried "Chicken Parmesan" and "Thai Shrimp bowl". They rated their food from average to good. I also didn't like their service as the place wasn't very full but somehow our server was late with pretty much everything. Definitely not going there again. From pricing perspective its moderately priced. Average dinner price per person can be from ~20 to 25 CAD, including tip.

Tonight my family and I ordered food from Kelsey’s for takeout. (We have had bad experiences with Kelsey’s before but thought we would give it a shot again) 3/4 meals were good. However my meal of chicken fingers (I got a side salad that I ate) were terrible. I never complain or make posts / leave negative reviews. But I was very disappointed to open up my to go box and see this. Especially when these chicken fingers were $16.99. As someone who has worked in the service industry for the last 8 years, I would have been embarrassed to bring this to a table or send it to go in a take out order. I did call and speak to the manager who told me (without seeing the photo) that this was due to the chicken fingers being “over breaded” before they are cooked. She was nice and offered me a replacement order or something different when I came in another time. I kindly thanked her, but did not take the offer for a replacement as we have already ate the other food we ordered and I do no plan to go to Kelsey’s to eat to dine in. (Or to order from them again in the future). I just wanted to share for anyone who might be thinking of ordering chicken fingers from Kelsey’s. The previous review before mine seemed to have the same issue!
