Quick in and out, friendly staff.

We were sent there on recommendations from our contractor, looking to purchase a new vanity for our bathroom renovation. We were standing in front of the vanity that we thought we would purchase ,someone came in behind us and were asked if they needed help , which she replied no to, he then went to the desk and totally ignored us , we asked someone else for help , and she said he would help us once he was off the phone ,we waited , standing in front of him . Once off of the phone , he bypassed us to help someone find a $5 plumbing fitting , we waited , someone else walked past us and he started assisting them ! Needless to say, at that point were frustrated and walked out ! Piss poor service , we won't be back !

We had a door replaced with two sidelights so it was taken right to the frame of the house the contractors that came did an amazing job. They protected our floor on the inside of the house and they put down protection on the front porch. They left our home clean and the two gentlemen themselves were amazing they were well presented and did Home Hardware proud. I really liked that the Home Hardware in Chatham had a dedicated Window and Door section that way it wasn't a part-time or casual employee when we went and it was somebody who is very knowledgeable and understood what we wanted and help guide us if we had questions. We also checked out Home Depot and they told us that if we didn't like the installation or there was something wrong with the contractor they sent out we had to deal with the contractor directly well that settlesd that Home Depot basically is telling us that they're not going to stand by their installer. Home Hardware is someone I never would have thought we would have had install a door but they stood by their contractor 100% and had if we had any issues we were to take it up with Home Hardware that to me was worth everything.

This is a busy hardware/lumber store. Lots of staff to get you taken care of quickly. If you need something for your home and yard, this is where you can get it. If per chance they don't have what you need, they will order it and usually arrives in store in a few days.

Just wasted 45 minutes for ignorance of order desk staff purchased 3 items that according to the sales were in stock waited in long line to pay for them went to the yard to pick it up just to be told there was no stock and to go back to store for refund. Another line at the desk and line at the cashier to get my money back. Total waste of time and frustration on top of that. No I do not recommend this store. They lost my business.

Crazy time with Covid-19 but they're lifesaver since they don't make you wait 1-3 days like Rona, Home Depot, Wal Mart and Canadian Tire. I had many orders and always are able to pick up within 5 min. This is why they became my favorite go-to home improvement store.

This store has the absolute worst customer service and managers I have ever experienced. I am a contractor and will literally drive across Chatham to home depot or rona instead of shopping here. Refusal to take back lumber bought (2x6x16) and ignorant cashiers.
