I am from Gatineau and eat sushi often. This sushi was very bland and even had a fishy smell to it. Was not impressed at all and will not return. Loblaws sushi is better than this. Disappointed.

About the food, it was good but I had a problem with the ordering formula. They give you a list of items you want, this is an all you can eat place for a fix price, $28.95 on a Saturday night. My problem is they bring right away what you ordered, that means you get everything at the same time, that makes a lot of food on the table. I guess because it was my first time, we did not know the drill. The food was good, nice different sushis, the Thai food was well done. The service was quick and the staff were doing their best to serve our group. See you next time.

Insanely delicious! However explanation of the way open buffet works was not explained properly and we were expected to pay for leftover sushi which got so expensive and completely shocked us. For someone's first time, it is important to make sure you please your customers and are friendlier and explain how the buffet works (that if you order more than you eat you pay for it and cannot take it home). The sushi's and everything was well executed and excellent though. Great plating and variety. LOVE the concept too.

My first visit to this restaurant turned out nicely. My son and I enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and the service was fast and very friendly. When we asked, we even received a mini lesson on how to properly hold and eat with chopsticks. It made my son laugh to see his mom fiddle with them, trying to wrangle the noodles. Our eyes were definitly bigger than our stomachs and we ordered too much, though. As others have said in previous reviews, we were surprised we had to pay extra for anything we ordered, but couldn't eat. Being that it was our first time here, it was something we were unaware of. (It might be a good idea to perhaps state this policy before people order, either written in the menu or mentioned by the waiter?) All in all...a good experience. Next time, we'll know better.????

When I first moved to Chateauguay, I was dying for some sushi, let alone an all-you-can eat deal. Our first visit resulted in lengthy delays for our food to be delivered and we had to remind the waitstaff that we were missing a couple of orders. The sushi itself was mediocre, but good enough at the time to satisfy my cravings. The others (noodles such as pad thai, teriyaki udon) weren't authentic in any way possible but not horrible either. Would only go back due to convenience but we have had better elsewhere.

I always get their Menu, looks amazing. Now that that I ordered curry chicken was basic not very flavorful, the small egg rolls were good. Maybe eating at the restaurant isn't bad, but I definitely don't recommend take out. It's nothing like the pictures and many ingredients were missing from the sushis. Never make the mistake of trying to order delivery. Called an hour after ordering and being told food would arrive after 30-40min... they would check with the delivery guy, 10 minutes later got a call to say it would take another 15 minutes, that's almost 90 minutes total!! This on a Wednesday around 18:30. I live two minutes away. Never again.

Service is not consistent. I was here a couple months back and my partner and i had a great time, food was exceptional and service was timely. This time around tonight, after being seated we were greeted almost 10 minutes afterwards. Busboys were timely with the drinks, clearing the tables and refill of water glasses, but waiter was at our table once to take the food order and never checked on our actual drinks, we ordered a lot of pieces because we were (are) hungry, and we only recieved half of the pieces. When i went up to the cash the waitress said "its because we don't know if you'll finish them so you have to ask", but i can't ask anyone if no one was cominf to our table, even trying to flag down a busboy was pointless. I paid $85 after tip for 30 pieces and a beer, was a total ripoff, will sadly not be coming back.

I went for the all you can eat at night during Sunday. My overall experience was poor, but the food is extremely bad. I was gifted a big mouth at birth. I have always been able to fit a sushi into my mouth without any issue. HOWEVER, the nigiri had so much rice, it is as if they compressed the whole bowl of rice into it. The sashimi was really special, I have never ate sashimi that contains ice is in, solid as a brick. I had to leave it 30 min for it to be unfrozen. The service is great, and the taste of most of the food was soso, with the exception of the beef, it tasted like rotten meat. TLDR: if you love ICE and RICE, you will love this place.

They put so much rice on their sushi so you can’t eat all the sushis you ordered and then they will charge you 1$ per piece you didn’t eat. In my life,I had really a rude encounter in a restaurant only two times and tonight was one of them at this restaurant.We went there at 20:00 when they were closing at 21:00.From the get-go,we felt unwelcomed.I had been in this restaurant many times before and I liked it at the time but I also knew that frequently,they had forgotten something we ordered so i literally circled everything to get my full orders tonight.Back then the food was good but tonight,not only did they forget our order as I expected but also the food was exceptionally bad . For 100$ for 3 people on a Tuesday evening,I would have expected abit more courtesy or at least a smile but instead I got rude, "why are you here?" attitude and rudeness when I asked about the forgotten items.Well,they win:never again back to this restaurant. I do not recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant is clean and modern and very nice. The atmosphere is good and it's a great little place to eat at. The food is OUTSTANDING. I mean without a doubt this is one of the best places I have eaten at . The orange beef is a fan favorite in my household. I would say though we had some challenges with the servers. Our server did not bring us all of what we asked on several attempts. Or he would bring the same item twice. I would still recommend this place though. it is a little pricey but worth every penny.

Our orders were reduced (we did not receive all the requested items and had to make a second order in order to get them). We also had to ask several times for ginger / wasabi even though it was indicated on our order form. Besides this, there is a discrepancy between the menu with the images / descriptions and the sheet on which we write our order. Several menu items are not on the sheet and vice versa. So we ordered a little blind for those and impossible to recommend those we had preferred, because we did not know which it was ... We should stow the order sheet with the menu. I think there is a lack of variety (several classics that are not on the menu). Apart from the rolls that must be ordered "blind", not much more choice reserved Friday and Saturday nights, the evenings when the price is increased. Sushi pizza (which is usually part of my favorites) is a joke; it's mainly a fried rice pancake, with tempura and if you're lucky, a few pieces of pollock. Not like the picture with avocado, pollock, smoked salmon and caviar. The rolls that were to be served hot, like the dragon eye, were barely warm. The general tao chicken was very good, lots of chicken and little breadcrumbs. The sauce might be a little less liquid, but it tastes good. (Original) J'ai visité ce restaurant un samedi soir. Service à revoir, plusieurs serveurs sont passés devant notre table sans s'arrêter alors que nous tentions d'attirer leur attention. Nous avons également dû demander à plusieurs reprises pour avoir gingembre/wasabi même si on l'indiquait sur notre feuille de commande. Plusieurs items du menu ne sont pas sur la feuille et vice versa. Il faudrait arrimer la feuille de commande avec le menu. Je trouve qu'il y a un manque de variété (plusieurs classiques qui ne se trouvent pas sur le menu). À part les rouleaux qu'on doit commander "à l'aveugle", pas beaucoup plus de choix réservés au vendredi et samedi soir, soit les soirs où le prix est augmenté. La pizza sushi (qui fait habituellement partie de mes coups de coeur) est une vraie blague; c'est principalement une galette de riz frite, avec du tempura et si vous êtes chanceux, quelques morceaux de goberge. Aucunement comme sur la photo avec de l'avocat, goberge, saumon fumé et caviar. Les rouleaux qui devaient être servis chauds, comme le dragon eye, étaient à peine tiède. Le poulet général tao était très bon, beaucoup de poulet et peu de panure. La sauce pourrait être un peu moins liquide, mais elle a bon goût.

Nourriture plus qu'ordinaire et décevante. Surtout éviter ou visiter la toilette des hommes avant de commander, excesivement malpropre et bordélique avec sceau à moppe au beau milieu, coulisse d'urine sur les murs ou il y a l'urinoire, papiers un peu partout sur le plancher qui est très malpropre et ça ne date pas d'une journée ou deux... bref une expérience à oublié. C'esr innaceptable en 2019 et ce genre de restaurant est une honte pour le milieux de la restauration. À ÉVITER!!! La loi sur le pourboire au Québec est très claire, il est interdit pour un restaurateur d'exiger un pourboire, c'est ILLEGAL et à la discrétion du client. De plus la loi de revenu québec est très claire aussi, il est ILLÉGAL de modifier à la main une facture, tout doit être inscrit et le montant à payer uniquement est celui ou il est indiquer Total... tout revenu imposer sur une facture doit être déclarer!!!! Donc les frais de 6.94$ qui mon été charger sont complètement illégal. Il est important de déclarer à revenu Québec cette pratique malhonnête!
