The soup is a bit of ingredients boiled to a certain limit, as it is possible that a little boiled water can cost so much money. And that is what is happening in this place, I know how to make a soup, a seafood soup, a chicken soup, which can cost three times what it costs in this place. If I'm hurting with my comment, improve the prices and quality.Please.

Great sushi place and decently priced compared to most restaurants in the area. The sashimi was fresh and portions were pretty large too. Food came out fast and complimentary miso soup and tasty glass noodles for the table. One down side is that they cut their sashimi into huge pieces which makes it kinda hard to eat. Overall happy and will recommend to others.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL sushi restaurant with the most delicious pieces I have ever tasted! Your meal always comes with complimentary cooler noodles, a garden salad and miso soup to begin while awaiting your order. Prices are VERY affordable and the atmosphere is modern with Japanese/Asian influence! Tempura is crispy and light with options such as shrimp, sweet potato, and zucchini, and sushi comes in varieties of every taste, like, and desire you can think of! TRY THEIR "LOVE MAKI"!!! And for dessert, they have delightful option such as fresh fruit which cleanses the palate, or my favourite, GREEN TEA ICE CREAM!! My favourite restaurant in all of Charlottetown!!

The absolute best sushi (or is it maki?) on PEI! Heard it was started by a fella who used to work at the Dairy Queen in Summerside (now closed). Kinda fitting that they serve ice cream there now too. The green tea ice cream is a bit of an acquired taste, but I would certainly recommend it if you're into that kinda thing. It makes me feel like I'm eating something healthy, even though that's highly unlikely.

This restaruant is always a great place to go to. Unfortunately this time wasn't the best experience I've had. The service is great and the food tastes great, the problem is the rice. The rice isn't warm as it should be, it's slightly cold and hard.

Always debate over here or Mr. Sushi, and I must say that Mr. Sushi is better. Better menu options, environment, service. Also has a larger seating area so if you forget to reserve you've got a better chance of being seated there.

This is a really lovely sushi spot, and while the price is higher than others in the area, the quality is there as well. If you really want an authentic meal, I would recommend this spot. If you just want the cheapest in town, there's another around the block for that. :) They often bring a little noodle dish as an appetizer which is a really nice touch.

The service is excellent with thoughtfulness and responsiveness is highly appreciated. The idea of ringing a bell to summon the staff is a little odd at first, but it is a wonderful system. My go-to place for sushi.

Great service. Waitress was very attentive and organized. Average sushi quality which was disappointing given we are a block from the ocean. Good prices versus other provinces. Tempura was light and crispy. Sashimi was inconsistent. Salmon was very good, but tuna was tough, other pieces of fish were too cold (almost frozen), which inhibited flavours, some pieces were tiny. Soya sauce bottles said “light sodium” which made for an odd flavoured soya sauce for dipping. Stick with the good (regular sushi soya sauce) would be a recommendation. Lose the parsley garnish, doesn’t belong on this dish.

Came here on a whim guided by google local guides ofcourse and glad that we did. We ordered a sushi sashimi boat and the fish was fresh and tasty. Less rice, more fish is always a good sign of a quality place. Seems to be run by Koreans but they employ other Asians as well. Good service that was pleasant but not overbearing. Casual unpretentious place perfect for a preshow or after show meal. A minute's walk away from CCOA.

This restaurant is supposed to be a fusion of Japanese and Korean dishes; however, they simply failed to deliver. I have moderate standards and would never compare this to other more authentic Japanese/Korean restaurants. I loved how they had a call bell, which we actually needed to use multiple times as they kept forgetting things that we ordered before it became crazy busy. Green tea could have been served first but they forgot about that. The bibimbab that I have photographed below is a poor excuse of a dish. It’s basically just fried rice with an egg. LOTS of lettuce and a few strands of beef that were meh. The salmon sashimi were fresh and were great. Bottom line, if this is the best sushi place in PEI, then I feel sad for the people who live here.

Went for dinner with my son the other night and wasn't impressed at all. My son had his usual rolls and tobiko nigiri sushi and tempura. The rolls were on the expensive side and the rest was okay, pretty had to mess up. Then comes my udon and I will tell you all of the things wrong with it. I ordered the nabe udon, the soup was weak and hardly had any flavour, the chicken was chopped into very small strips and were very dry, the shrimp were chewy and no veggies other than cabbage...who puts cabbage in udon!!!??? I would not recommend this restaurant for good Japanese food.

I had the chicken katsu. It was amazing. So crispy and flavorful. Service was fast and helpful as always. Our whole table loved their food. My girlfriend had gyoza dumplings (served in a cute dish with sauce on the side), and rainbow maki. Everything was delicious.

How can sushi of this level be rated 5 stars? I've had better sushi in the middle of Africa. Quality is horrible. Salmon is supposed to "melt" in your mouth. It is not meant to be chewed as if it were a piece of well done steak. Waitress knowledge is next to nothing. Only "good" thing about the place was the music and the Sapporo which they can't even take credit for.

I unfortunately have to disagree with the ratings given to this establishment. With the steep price they command for their sushis, I expected good quality. Unfortunately, I would rate the food as below average. My take out order included a soup and the container was not even half full... I would certainly not recommend this place.

Honestly one of the best places I've been in a while. Wait time is a huge factor for me when it come to lunches, and the service here was really kind and fast, despite the somewhat busy time of day. The food was also great and the lunch special was very reasonably priced. I'm not actually a huge seafood fan, but they have a diverse menu so I have many options when others want sushi.
