Fish was terrible! Thick batter overcooked on outside and undercooked next to very meager portion of fish. I don't know what has happened since all the good reviews but I would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Very clean fishmonger in the West Island with a decent variety of fresh fish available. Price range is in thr mid to high range, as with most fishmongers in the Greater Montreal Area, however they are cheaper than the options available at Marche Atwater or Marche Jean Talon. They also serve prepared food.

Joe, the fish monger, knows more about fish that I ever could, and he's always willing to share that knowledge, and always with a smile. There's a wide selection of fresh seafood, prepared sides, and even frozen foods. In-house made soups, and a kitchen so great for takeout, with a few tables to eat in as well. Friendly staff all 'round, so really, this store has it all. Oh, and lobster tanks too!

Pêcheur is the absolute best fish market in the entire city! They only serve the best quality fish and I always feel clean and healthy after eating there. In addition, the staff is very knowledgable and helpful. I eat there every week during the year and always buy food for the family during the holidays. The salmon, shrimp tacos, crab cakes, calamari, fish and chips are all personal favorites. I love pêcheur!

I finally discovered a fish market!! The prices are normal, and the quality is good. The best part is that they can cook you the fish without you getting your hands dirty, or house smelly. I ordered the fried calamari and crab cakes. Both were delicious, the calamari were thinly cut(which I love like that) The thing was, they got quite hard after sitting in the table for about two hours. I will definitely refer them, and return????????

Jimmy, The Voulas, the Chef, as well as the remainder of the staff run the finest fish market I've encountered. Always fresh and always with the very best service. There is a great restaurant on the premises and the Lobster Roll, Grilled Shrimp and Fish Tacos are all absolutely amazing. Healthy eating for affordable prices. Le Pecheur Du Marche is the only market I would recommend for all your seafood needs.

This is my go to place when I want to eat a good fish. I chose what I want and they cook it for me. I could never make fish as good as they do, cook to perfection every time. It's nothing fancy for dining arrangements, paper plate and plastic forks. But they make up ten fold in there friendly service, very nice with kids too.

Zero fresh fish on display. Zero customer service. Just entered the store nearly an hour after it opened and no fresh fish was on display. When I asked why not the employee out in the store just mumbled some vague excuse and walked away. Very unfriendly and no fresh fish to buy! I don't see why this place gets such good reviews. Really it has nothing to offer nothing to sell.
