Aiden’s was amazing. The boat was super clean and the captain and staff were excellent. The mackerel fishing was great! Lots were caught and the crew had them cleaned and bagged before we returned to shore. The cod were few and far between but the captain kept trying to get us on them. We would definitely go back out with Aiden’s if we return to the area.

AUGUST 18th, 2015 Brought 6 Other Family Members from Different Parts of The Country Along with Us on This Fishing Excursion to North Rustico. Everyone of Us Caught Fish. The Young Guns Out Fished Us which was Terrific.! I have Personally Been on Many Fishing Trips Over the Years. This Experience was Great For those People who had Never Done it Before. I Found the Skipper and First Mate to Be Real People who Really Enjoy what They Do and Thrive on Pleasing Each & Every Customer from the 5 yr. old to Old Guys Like Me. Hats Off To The Captain and Crew for Providing 3 Hours Of Solid Enjoyment. My Guests went home The Very Next Day but We Cooked a Mother Load of Fresh Mackerel Cookies & Cod Fish for their Breakfast Before Sending Them on Their Way. Thank You

amazing smiles and kindness shown from fisherman. Boat tour out to open water; we fished with rod for everyone and they teach you how to fish for Mackerel and then we used Mackerel fish we caught as bait for Cod and we caught lots of each species of fish. They handled fish completely and fillet the fish for everyone to take home. Alot of fun but definitely shakes up the stomach abit so get those behind the ear medical sickness presenters from the drugmart before you go out if you get queasy easily.

Kids and I had a great trip! I think everyone on the boat caught a few and we each took a bag of fillets home. My son was really proud of his fish! Beautiful morning on the water, with great company. Couldn’t imagine a nicer time. The kids have already asked when we can go again. They were disappointed to learn that there are very few deep sea fishing charters near our home in Calgary! :) Thanks so much.

We shoved off at 8AM on a pristine early September day. Max Capacity on the vessel was 19 and we totaled 14 so there was reasonable elbow room about. Captain and crew were very friendly and accommodating. We went to two locations: 1. Mackerel (approx. 4 miles out) and 2. Cod (roughly 5.5 miles out). We used weighted lines with feather lures for the mackerel and most of us on board had multiple hits. With 1-2 foot swells, coupled with a moderate chop, the time spent at both sites was pleasant and easy. Cod is a bottom feeder so we let the line out to roughly 3-5 ft above the sea floor (120 ft. Depths). Here, a number of U.S. Caught multiple keepers. The crew was very helpful with the periodic lines entanglements and rebaits for the squeamish. There are many fishing boats/captains to choose from. This one is very good and based on our experience, I'd strongly recommend these guys to anyone interested.

Fantastic crew and our Captain was marvelous. The boat was very clean and felt like it was brand new. Everyone had a wonderful time and we witnessed a school of Bluefin Tuna playing in the waves that made the trip both memorable and special. I would have no reservation in recommending Aiden's Deep Sea Fishing to anyone wanting fun outing to fish and laugh. If given the opportunity, I would book with them in a heartbeat.

Wow! We had such an amazing time on this tour. Captain Brent let our little one sit in the Captain's chair on our way back. We caught tons of fish, we had very little experience fishing but it's great for all ages (my mom is late 70s and my daughter is 18 months old). We caught mackerel and cod, would definitely come back.

This was a great family experience! Crew were patient and friendly and very helpful to novice fishers. They really made this trip magical for my kids (our kids were hands on with the fishing, got to see the cleaning of a fish, and even got a feel for the captain position of steering the boat!). To finish off the experience we were able to take home a share of the catch and cook it. Also, I would like to add that the lady running the front desk at the meeting location is super friendly and was great with my kids. Her daughter is also a local artist with some art on hand at Aiden's for purchase. My daughter bought two to hang in her room and loves them!
