Charges $130 for CBD, when I asked if it can be returned if it doesn't work, he laughed at me and was very rude. Any product should be returnable if it doesn't work, I'll stick with Bosley's and holistic drops.

I think this store is great. It's large and the floor plan is well laid out. You can buy everything you need for your aquarium and although the selection of fish isn't great they do have quite a few Beta's (fighting fish). I only wish they had a better selection of cat food. A great store with awesome small town service.

I do like the bulk dog treats here. You choose selection and they are all the same price. We have asked about a certain brand of bird seed and the owners said they would look into it. We asked twice and so far they have not come through for us. Still waiting for better service.

Sorry, I just can't recommend. The elder guy working there made me feel very uncomfortable. As soon as I entered the store I went to the fish food. He came right up to me, stared at me, not saying one word. He then followed me while I looked at fish. The place is also kind of grungy and the fish don't look healthy at all. It was not a very good experience. I'll take my business to the fish store in Courtenay. They are very clean, helpful, and friendly there.

We go here up to sometimes 3 times a week!!! Jarret is extremely knowledgeable about fish and aquariums, he was even so nice that he gave us a great deal AND his own personal sail fin; as they didn't have any in stock!!! They're very personable and we always have a good time coming in ! !

For a LFS in a small town I expect to have to order some things online and that is still the case here, however they are stocked enough to have everything you need to maintain your tanks once established, or start a small setup. No complaints, prices are fair.

One of my underwater light aquarium light it’s power adapter didn’t work anymore. Which I purchased it from Bob In July and the company needed info in order for me to get it replace. Bob is soo kind enough to get records of my purchase because I couldn’t find the receipt. Now my replacement adapter will be mailed out soon! Thanks u Bob!

I went in to get blood worms for my fish as I know they love them . The sales person suggested to switch it up and get shrimp. I wasn’t sure I wanted to and she kept convincing me they would love new treats . I bought them and they won’t touch it . I wasted 17$ plus tax on this . I called to exchange or get my money back and the manager was called and I was told nope I can’t since it’s been opened . I would not have bought this comming into the store I would have bought the blood worms I know they love . I won’t be comming back to this store now .

I’d really suggest that the owner, Bob, educates himself on autism and special needs. When my daughter went into True Blue with her worker to pick out fish, Bob was quite rude. They had to ask for help. When they asked if 2 of the fish could be in separate bags (going to different houses) he huffed and rolled his eyes. Bob had no patience when my daughter was quietly looking at the fish and getting excited about all the different options. It was a big deal when they asked for a simple receipt. And Bob wasn’t wearing a mask the entire time they were in the store, not even around his chin. Please educate yourselves on autism awareness, it’s 2021.
