Good selection of Marine parts for the recreational boater as well as a limited selection of fishing tackle. Recently became a Cummins dealer and deal with Garmin electronics. Store staff very friendly and helpful. Boatyard is a full service facility with 50 Ton lift and excellent trades support for fiberglass, aluminum and steel boats.

Last two times there, did not have the items I needed. Normally part of their inventory. Last time they sent me to boat land knowing I had big inboard engines, but boat land is an outboard engine facility only. Very disappointing.

We had planned on repowering our boat this winter. Unfortunately the old engine and transmission started getting cranky while we were en route to Desolation Sound. We were able to finish our vacation on the boat and decided to follow the BETA Marine distributor's recommendation to have Ocean Pacific repower our boat. OP did a great job, everything from ordering the engine to haul-out, prepping the engine room, checking the shaft, adding supports to the original engine mount, re-pitching the prop (yes we got a bigger engine with more horse power) to the final engine installation, new muffler, new shaft seal, etc.. This was the first boat yard we dealt with that covered the galley, chart table and floors with proper protective board before even starting to work on the boat. The yard is clean and well run. Mark Sorensen, the yard manager, was communicative about all aspects of the repower and he even was so kind meet us at the Campbell River airport and give us a ride to the yard when we were ready to pick up the boat. The pricing for the work is very fair! It was the first time dealing with a boat yard where I felt that I received fair value for the work which was performed. We definitely will use Ocean Pacific again. A special shout-out to Lisa, the receptionist and Roland. The guys on the dock were also great. This was the best boat yard experience we have had in all our years of sailing and owning boats.
