This was my first Charter ever. I have wanted to fish on the ocean, specifically a Charter for as long as I can remember. I was stoked and I gotta say, impressed from the dock on wards. We did the evening fish. The boat is top notch and appears to be a new boat, so its being well kept by Royce and his wife Kelly. Very , very nice people. Its a husband wife business and they do everything in their power to provide an excellent customer experience. The fishing that day was slower then usual. No fault of Royce at all. Thats why they call it fishing and not getting. You can't predict with certainty that Chinook will bite. We managed to catch a ling cod, a small jack chinook, a few sharks and our group of 3 caught two very nice keeper chinooks! We didn't see anyone else out there pulling Chinook out. Royce felt so bad for me that out of the kindness of his heart, spent an extra hour (free of charge)to try and catch me a Chinook and although, we weren't able to, it demonstrates their kindness, their passion and their willingness to go the full 100 yards(and beyond) to see their customers happy. They went so far as to give me a gift of some salmon/halibut that they had personally caught. Amazing people. After the boat ride back in, Kelly and Royce cleaned and filleted our catch. What a night! I highly recommend them for your next Charter adventure. I can't say enough good. From what I understand from one of my friends that came out with us on the Charter, he has never seen another Charter do what they did. So, plan your next get away with Royce and Kelly. Give them a shot and you won't be disappointed.
