Always stop in when I'm cruising by on the motorcycle. Especially nice on a sunny day. Has ice cream and a few baked goods, soup. Outside seating is the best view around, fire pit. Sometimes can see the Orcas breaching in the distance. Staff friendly and funny. Patron, a diverse group if you strike up a conversation.

I'm not sure about the other reviews but I had several small americanos and they were delicious. I had an early morning conference call and went into town very early to get a good cell signal and this place was open at 6am. As I mentioned the Americanos were perfect. I added a extra shot to mine because I like them strong. The Internet was solid and I was able to use VOIP for my call. And what's not to like about the location? And the beachcomber vibe of this place? 5 stars for me.

I went there every morning for my one week holiday at Campbell River and was not disappointed! The environment is friendly and cozy with funny signs scattered all over the coffee shop. The staff were phenomenal (especially Amanda who was always in a super good mood and ready for some friendly banter). The coffee portions were generous and the caramel machiatto was to die for! Oh and the cookies, scones and muffins were always delicious and super fresh! I hope to come back soon!

This is the most wonderful location to stop and sit for a while. Every time we're in the area we find an excuse to drop by for a coffee or an ice cream. The coffee is not the best ever, but better than many, and sitting by the shore watching the boats and the occasional aquatic mammals pass by in the tidal currents makes this a great spot to unwind.

Was pretty disappointed to get such a poor coffee here after all of the recommendations we had. Most reviews online were so good that we even went back to give it a second chance and the guy who served us the first time seemed like he doesn't usually work there. This time was slightly better but still below expectations. It is in a great location by the water and it's a cool little shack with a lot of character.

Holy cow what a place! This place is full of surprises. First you think it's a little dive. But wow you would be wrong. It is an amazing hippy/ surfer/ cottage feel and boy do they make it work right. Build a fire, sit around with strangers and see how all of a sudden you are all talking and sharing about the world. Everything inside has home made feel to it and the staff are super attentive and serious about customer service. You can tell they love their job and willing to go the extra mile for you. If you don't stop and check out this place you are missing a interesting mile stone in life.

Not much better than sitting by a wood stove watching the ocean on a blustery day, while drinking a latte and eating a bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup. The eagle doing a fly by and then landing in out view was a bonus. This place is a true coffee shack, that embraces the word shack. Lots of outdoor seating for fairweather summer tourists and locals, with a few cozy tables inside for the likes of us.

Amazing location, great atmosphere (fire pit overlooking the straight); unfortunately spoiled by horrendous coffee. I watched agast as the 'barrista' ran nearly a cup of water through a double shot of coffee, making an un-drinkable soup (made worse by the extremely dark/burnt roast). Just God awful, go read a book on making espresso or have a professional teach everyone. I'll try again in a few months and see if you've learned anything. Simple recipe, no more than 1oz of water per shot, if it doesn't take around 12s to make then fine up/course your grind until it does. It's not drip coffee.

Love this elcetic little shop! Great selection of drinks and goodies. You really can't beat the view! Sit outside around a fire on decent winter days or storm watch in front of the fireplace on not so great days. They have tons of outside chairs and some toys for the kids to play with! The staff is super friendly. In the summer they also serve icecream!

I love this cute, friendly ,eclectic coffee hut. It’s got amazing cold and hot beverages... a cozy seated area inside filled with items you might find in grandmas attic or treasures from a garage sale. There’s fun seating around a fire facing the ocean... incredible view ... best coffee with a relaxed view I’ve ever encountered. Great friendly service and an absolute must to visit.
