Was very upset today at this place. They are very highly rated and im sure the food is excellent. But we showed up at 420 or so a full hour and forty minutes before advertised close. And the woman working said im not cooking anymore today i have to leave at 6...maybe she did us a favour it would have been a painful wait... Maybe advertise your kitchen closes at 430pm on a monday?

We stopped in here for a bite to eat today while visiting the town. While fairly spendy at $25.00, the taste and quality of the steamer plate was excellent. Friendly staff and you cannot beat the authentic ambience of eating on the dock! Highly recommended!

It was during the second month of the pandemic and isolation was playing on everyone's mental state. It was our Wedding Anniversary and we usually gather with family and friends. We couldn't this year so our lovely children ordered our favorite seafood to eat through Crabby Bob's along with right to the door delivery service. Abby the owner has stepped up to evolving her business right from the get go of the pandemic and before. The food is always fresh and priced very well. Thank you for carrying on this great business here in Campbell River. Definitely one of my go to places for delicious fresh seafood.

I came here for dinner with my family on our first trip to Campbell River. This place is an institution! Come here for food and you will enjoy yourself guaranteed. The staff were wonderful and welcoming! The seafood are beyond fresh. You have the choice to either buying live and cook it yourself, or leave the cooking to the expert chefs there (who know exactly how to preserve and enhance the natural taste of the variety of seafood you order). Trust me, you won't be disappointed! My personal choice is the platter, great portions and excellent selections. To top it off, this place is right next to the Discovery Pier, which has a breath-taking view. You can plop down and enjoy your food as you take in the scenery. Let your eyes feast on the view as you feast on the amazing food!

Awesome, just awesome! We bought all our food from Crabby Bob’s during our week visiting Campbell River. The prices are amazing, the candied salmon recipe is the best I’ve ever had, their fresh seafood is SO fresh! And the staff are so helpful and fun. For us, Crabby Bob’s is the reason we will be back to visit Campbell River and the reason we are sad to leave - thank you for helping make our honeymoon so enjoyable!

Just had dinner @ Crabby Bob's. Ordered two chowders and serving of prawns. Fantastic, fresh and Crabby Abby & Shannon gave great service. Chowder had bacon, onion, celery, potato, salmon, white fish, shrimp, oyster, clam, scallops & crab. Served on the dock from holding tanks to your plate. Can't get any fresher!

Amazing crab!!!! Just make sure to CLARIFY if you want your crab cooked or RAW!!! Spent a pretty pricey chunk of cash and getting ready to eat after hubby picked up crab and found out crab was raw! Phoned and complained and was treated extremely rudely by the OLDER female voice! Unfortunately will be last time they get our cash! Too bad too cause it only takes a small kind deed with NO rudeness to make it better!! In this case Crabby Bob’s (or Abby’s) DOES not think the customer is always right! Other places in town sell crab!!

I love taking my children to Crabby Bob'sy children often request to go for a visit. The staff are wonderful and will happily pull out a crab to show my children. Sometimes they even get to take home a crabby cookie. The crab is always delicious and I've learnt that boiling the crab whole makes for the tastiest crab. The staff at Crabby Bob's will amqzingly clean the crab for you at no extra cost if you don't want to deal with the mess. I highly suggest a visit to locals and visitors :)

Woah, we went twice on this trip. We stopped in on our way to GoldRiver and on our way back from. They cook Crabs perfect here. We liked ordering them Fresh, and then getting them steamed. Juicy!! We will be back again. Also thanks for the Spot Prawns. :)

Lee cooks some of the most amazing seafood you’ll ever taste! We were told about this place by locals for a while and finally decided to try it one sunny afternoon. What an amazing treat to sit on the dock and eat this fresh seafood platter with finger-licking garlic butter. This place will be a must stop every time we come through Campbell River! We could watch everything from choosing to preparing. Yes, and it tasted great. A must if you have time here. (Original) Am ersten Abend waren wir zu spät, weil es Sonntag war und da schon ab 16 Uhr geschlossen. Nun heute waren wir um 17 Uhr da und hatten eine Stunde zum genießen. Eine echt natürliche und freundliche Bedienung. Wir konnten vom aussuchen bis zum zubereiten alles beobachten. Ja und geschmeckt hat es super. Als ein Muss wenn man hier Zeit hat.

Ordered the seafood chowder and it was a poor excuse for a seafood chowder. Broth was watery and tasteless. What little fish was in it was overcooked and rubbery. The only potatoes were skins. Very disappointing especially for the price. We are not from Campbell River and purchased the chowder to go.

Crabby Bob's is a must if you are in Campbell River. We ordered the small seafood charcuterie (pictured), for two of us. It was more than enough food. So delicious and fresh. The staff were all very friendly and nice to talk to. We are from Alberta and drove to CR especially to visit Crabby Bob's on our trip to the island. Well worth the drive.

Minus one star. You wasted a hour of my life that i will never get back. As a free diver I regularly catch crab, I never imagined that shopping for crab would be more arduous than catching it. What number should I call to speak to the owner? Unless the owner is crabby Abby, in which case I will not waste my breath.

Wow. Stopped in here quite randomly on a weekend trip. The best all seafood dinner I have been served. Perfectly cooked crab, the freshest shellfish you can imagine. This meal was simply so delicious. If you are going here be sure not to skip out on ordering a cup of chowder, it's fantastic. The friendly service makes you feel like you are sitting on your friends patio. We enjoyed our meal in the sun and were served by two very nice women.
