This was our first meal out since COVID and it was definitely reflected in the price. We got the veggie spring rolls (which were two larger spring rolls cut in half) and they were good. He got the Thai curry which was tasty. I got the fish tacos and would not recommend them. They looked like grocery store deep fried fish sticks and super greasy. It said it came with fries or salad, but I wasn't offered a choice (given fries). The fries were good. I also got a virgin Caesar which was also good. During the meal, the server came over three times. Once to take our order, another to deliver drinks, and then to deliver food. I'll give them another try, but probably not for a while.

Interesting place - appears to be a family business with some creative menu ideas. The Philly Cheese with a Korean twist was really, really good. (Waited a bit longer than I would have liked to pay the bill, however.)

Don't be fooled by the rather nondescript outside facade.( They still have the filing station canopy over the outside tables). The signage is terrible. Very hard to notice as a restaurant on the drive by. I'm sure their business would grow quickly if this was improved. The inside is nice and contemporary. Smallish menu but food is very good and presented very nicely. Server (owner I think) could use a little more server training but was polite and friendly. I will definitely be returning as this is a diamond on the rough

Once COVID restrictions eased up this was the first restaurant we went to. I admit to being leery of eating out but the food was so delicious and the outdoor seating on a beautiful summer day made our meal even better. I'm not sure why we didn't eat here sooner but I've now added BRG to my list of places for a great meal. This is the type of restaurant that Campbell River needs more of. Great job BRG, we will definitely be back!!

Fries were excellent. Atmosphere nice. Burger had three full pickle slices which was awesome. Patty was a little small for the bun though. Had to up to the bar for a refill.

I went for lunch with my family for the first time. My mom and sister who live in Campbell River had never been, and myself from Edmonton, obviously had never gone. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant itself very clean. Service was good, very friendly and comfortable. The food was amazing. I had the pulled beef and the flavors were so, so, good. They both had the burger, was told also equally good. Fries were super crispy, cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were considerate. Overall experience was really good. Would definitely return upon my next trip back to Campbell River. I would highly recommend trying this quality little spot. It's a gem! Thanks Big Rock Garage for the amazing food and service!!!

Great food, but the older guy serving appears to be very unhappy, I say this because of his lousy manners, it seems like he believes he is doing you a favour by bringing you the menu...cheer up fellow, when you deal with the public you need to have better manners.

Really tasty Asian fusion food with a little bit of everything for any kind of kid or picky adult too. Based out of an upcycled gas station with gorgeous views of the coast. Stopped by in the afternoon and service was really slow, it was definitely busy but there was only one waitstaff :/

Holy heck. Ordered the pulled beef sandwich and my partner ordered the burger. Hands down the best take out I've had in a very long time. Both were absolutely delicious. We were close by and they even called to tell us our order was ready. Super friendly and efficient.

Tried to call in for take out, waste of time. I had to show up to place order. Their was only one lady that was helpful out of a giant family in the back from 3 to 60 year old. After half an hour to get a burger and salad I did get a phone call from the same lady, she was the only one doing her job for customer service, when I picked it up a older gentlemen yelled at me saying"its not ready" while he was carrying dishes, the same lady that I was dealing with said it was and on the counter for pickup. Long story short this restaurant was notable... I dont do reviews but I had to for this one, but that one lady did a fantastic job despite everything else... praise to her

When I tried to place an order for pick up mario(I believe that's his name) said something really quickly and then just said "no" and I was kinda confused because I've placed three orders for pickup before then and I even left a great tip every time, the website says pickup is available, the food is great but idk just confusing sometimes

Tried out this restaurant for the first time. Had a delicious meal and the service was great. My husband and I had the gyoza for our appy and then adobo pork and Singapore noodles for our main dishes. Definitely looking forward to going again.

Enjoyed a delicious thai chicken curry here today. You would never know it was a great place for food if you were driving by. Atmosphere was quiet and simple and it looks like they bust out the disco lights after dark. Great visit here and would totally go again.

Worst service ever lol, took an hour and a half to get our sushi rolls and half an hour just to get our drinks which they didn’t even make properly. The waitress had no idea what she was doing she just stared at us and waited for us to order. Didn’t ask if we wanted a drink or anything lol..

This place has both Canadian and Asian cuisines, so if you are not wanting Asian food, you can choose Canadian food. I had a super delicious cheese and bacon burger while my mom had an Asian bowl of vegetables and chicken (it comes with noodles and a peanut sauce). This place does cater to those that have allergies so do not cruise by without stopping in for a delicious meal.

Had lunch here and it was really good. The prices were reasonable and the selection was good. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Our party of people had a variety of food from burger, fish tacos, sushi and fish and chips all Of which was good. Only complaint was it was cold inside. So Bring a sweater on a cooler day.

Love the re-purposed garage with outdoor seating where the gas pumps were. We ordered a variety of sushi rolls and they were delicious & fresh. Highly recommended BRG!

Good food and Gluten Free options, I had the fish tacos and my gf had the Gluten Free Thai Curry, tried a couple rolls out as well, the patio is nice and big and the Staff were friendly, we will be back and would definitely recommend!

I used to drive past this place every day, twice a day, and not once thought to give it a try. On a whim, friends and I decided to give it a go. We were seated quickly, and our server was just the right amount of attentive. Given the amount of staff to tables, I was definitely happy with the service. The drinks were good, and the food was delicious. I'll admit there was a bit of heat with my dish - the Bulgogi Cheesesteak - and I'm not the biggest fan of spicy food; however, I was still very happy. All in all I'd definitely consider going back. Oh, and calamari? Absolutely amazing. Do yourself a favour and get an order of it. Or two, if you're having to share.

As far as local restaurants go this place had great food for a modest price. Dishes were mostly between $15 - $23 and both my dish and my wife's were perfect portion sizes (she had a little bit she took home, but I eat more so mine was all finished). The quality of the food was great and the taste was amazing as well. Service was also awesome as the server made sure we had what we needed and was friendly.

Went there on the suggestion of a friend for sushi, found out they did some Filipino dishes too! So did a combo; Ebi sunomono, West Coast Rolls, and Pork Adobo (super tender!). Finished off the meal with Banana Spring Roll! Next time gonna try the Singapore Noodles and Lumpia!

i have eaten there twice now. the food quality is consistant. the food has the perfect size portions , and the gravy for take-out comes in an imitation tupperware container ( perfect for collectors) and the service is very friendly and the drinks are well made.

Service was awesome. Super friendly staff. Food was great and portions are generous. I had the oriental bowl and sushi. The sushi was great and the vegetables in the bowl tasted fresh from the garden. The beef was also so tender. A view of the sea while you eat and the prices are quite fair.

The staff at big rock garage always goes above in beyond with their service i went there last night and they were slammed soo busy but they still managed to be friendly and our food took maybe 15-20 minutes (which really isn't bad compared to how busy they were) and they apologized at least 3 times! on top of the friendly staff the food is AMAZING

This is a fantastic local eatery. We enjoy a meal here at least once a month. We have frequent visitor from out of town and there is a short list of local eateries we recommend. This is definitely one of them. Great food, great presentation of meals, and the big plus for us is the cleanliness and proper handling of food during prep. (Kitchen is viewable from seating area)

We love it here! We have eaten at the Garage about 5 times, and I finally remembered to review it. I always end up saying to myself, "How did I get get THAT meal for such a great price?" Every type of food they prepare is beautifully presented and so tasteful and tasty. We never feel like we are waiting too long. It seems to be a family-run business and this family treats us so well. If we ask for something particular in a meal (such as extra piquante) they respond favorably and they don't forget we asked for it. The atmosphere is friendly and intimate enough for a nice private dinner experience.
