We went to Anglers for our first anniversary dinner. Our server was incredible. She was so polite and kind and she seemed to enjoy her job and the people around her. The food was absolutely amazing. It was cool to hear about the fresh made noodles and sauce

I was told 20-30 mins so I walked over and after an hour the food came, was’t even hot. Heard great things and this is very disappointing.... all they said was sorry, thanx But, the food was very delicious! Just never ordering to go, next time I’m up I’ll go back, but I’ll be dinning in.

Excellent first date restaurant, rustic ambiance and excellent food and service. The menu is limited in choices but then that is to be expected as this place is small and has limited seating. Would definitely recommend and return again. Reservations required well in advance.

Wow. What an experience! The atmosphere was perfect, a casual yet classy dining room, nice wood detailing and neat pictures on the walls! Service was quick, very friendly and accommodating. THE FOOD! Ahhh! So delicious, I didn't have time to take photos because our plates were empty too soon! My lovely man pal had the surf and turf special, and I scarfed down the ling cod! A Moscow Mule and a gorgeous gwertz to drink, and the creamsicle cheese cake for dessert! ???? 100% recommend, we will absolutely be back, we're already making plans for the next 2 hour trip down island to enjoy this amazing place again! YUM.

Atmosphere and service was absolutely wonderful! Lovely fireplace going and a beautiful view of the Forrest and ocean. The food was quite disappointing. Very greasy and lacked flavor. Noticed they took off the burger which was always a safe go to. It seems like they are trying a little too hard with the menu instead of getting the basics down.

My girlfriend an I came for our anniversary dinner as we heard it was a great restaurant in town and we were not disappointed. Service was great and the place was very warm and welcoming. The food was amazing, I had the Lincod and would recommend. If you go be sure to make a reservation as the place is small and you'll want to make sure to get a table for your size of party.

We stayed at the resort for our honeymoon, our last might we ate at Angler's and were not disappointed! Hubby had the oyster, seafood linguine and a beet salad for dessert which cracked our waitress up, I had the ceasar salad, ling cod, and the apple mille-feuille, All amazing and delicious, a must try! Make sure to reserve a table, it was a busy night

My wife and I live in what we believe to be one of the best foodie places in the world. When we visited Campbell River for a few days on our honeymoon our expectations for food were pretty low being farther away from major cities and known foodie spots. Breakfast here was ok with the salmon eggs Benedict and chicken potato pesto bowl which met our expectations. We came back that evening to try the dinner just to see since the locals suggested it was good. The Seafood Linguini and Shrimp Ravioli paired with wine recommendations (Gamay and Rose wine) were without doubt one of the most delicious meals I have ever consumed. Thankfully the portions were just right otherwise I may have eaten this delicious meal till I keeled over. Thank you for giving my wife and I an incredible food experience we will remember for a long time.

Enjoyed my first brunch time meal at Anglers. A salmon omelette. It was delicious. The accompanying fruit salad (my choice) was fresh. Although the hours stated closed at 11:00 , we were not made to rush. Rather we lingered, enjoying the beautiful view of Discovery Passage while appreciating the offer of a further cup of coffee.

In their website they are writing that they are open from 5pm to close. We got there at 8:10pm to find out they are closing at 8pm. Looks like a nice place but cost us 30 minutes that could have been saved with some true details in their website.

This was my second dining experience at Anglers and it did not disappoint. Our steaks were perfectly grilled and tender as could be! There were 4 veggies on the plate and an ample serving of potatoes. Worth every cent!

Absolutely fabulous meals. Attended a wedding at Dolphins Resort (also great) and had a dinner in the private room (seats up to 18 comfortably) and 3 breakfasts as well as had them cater the pre wedding bbq and wedding reception. Did not have anything to improve on, the food was fantastic all weekend....so much so that we chose not to leave the resort. The hours are not fantastic though, breakfast 8 to 11am (noon on weekends) and then dinner 5 to 8pm. If you're just staying on the resort, you'll need to figure out lunch or if you're going to go on a morning fishin trip (8am) then breakfast will have to be cooked in your cabin. It worked out ok for us as we went into town and got some groceries but it could be an issue for lunch if you're just relying on the resort restaurant. But, can't really complain as it worked out fine for us and we were very happy with literally every meal for 4 days.

This was THE best dining experience I’ve ever had. Everything we had was absolutely exquisite and presented beautifully. The wine was amazing, and everything was a great price. We were a party of five, had three appetizers, two soups, two bottles of wine, five entrees and two desserts for $60 a head. Not bad at all. Will definitely come back every time we’re on the island. Thank you everyone for a wonderful evening.

First time dining experience a few days ago on the outdoor patio. It was a relaxing dining experience with friendly and efficient service. Decent water views off a sheltered patio. Good Seafood selection and the Ling Cod meal was a generous portion and delicious. Would definitely go again. FYI, park on the road labled visitor parking if you're just dining.

Very disappointing meal recently. Hard to credit any of the better reviews on this site. We were a party of 7 and were all deeply disappointed with the caliber of the food and especially with the preparation. Risotto was tasteless and insulting with barely cooked frozen vegetables. Halibut was rubbery, overcooked and bland topped with carrot peelings. Pasta was globulous and again...tasteless. And the ultimate insult, the food was vastly overpriced. Apart from that, our server was cheery and apparently oblivious. Avoid this restaurant.

Went to anglers dinning with my wife and our friends a couple days ago and was VERY DISAPPOINTED with our experience. When we got there the amount of time we HAD TO WAIT to even be seated. And when we got to our table eventually, our server IGNORED us the entire time. Ordered an old fashion and there were FRUIT FLIES in the drink. CHECK your drinks. Not to mention the wait time to get our food to be served. WOULDNT SUGGEST. Service needs improvement and better organization.
