Love Sunterra. The deli offerings are delicious, they have beautiful fresh flowers and produce. Good selection of alternative foods and the bakery is also excellent. Their Friday night dinner for 2 is inspired and convenient and I love stopping by at the butcher section for a quick dinner comprised of marinated meats. Staff are eager to help and are friendly.

The best bakery I've ever seen. Not that I'm very cultured, but still. And the bread prices were excellent! I bought a small round loaf for $1.49, and it was exceptional. And quickly browsing other isles, I found their prices decent on other items. Would definitely go often if I were in the area more.

As with all Sunterra locations, this one is amazing. We love that it’s situated in a unique little strip mall that is fun to walk up before going grocery shopping. They have a great selection of treats, produce, baked goods, and meats. They always have samples of their baked goods, and the things they bake are incredibly unique (and beautiful!) You’re likely to find your favourite speciality items here.

The party platters they sell here are over priced, same prices restaurants sell party platters for, but without hosting the party with service, etc. The same with all the regular grocery items and produce, and worse the meat department sells meat for the same price restaurants sell cooked steaks for... Iget it Britannia is near all these mansions and expensive homes but there is also allot of people that live in the area with regular homes and regular incomes too, and after all, you are a grocery store, I realize your not trying to be a cheap grocery store, but Sunterra needs to stop acting like they are a full service restaurant, unless they start sending Michelin Star chefs home with the steaks they sell to cook the food we bought for us!

A great store with wide variety of selections especially in baking and ready to eat food items. I mostly come here to try new food items and to get my usual baked goods such as Apple Crumble pie or Banana bread with chocolate. The staff are friendly and provide great services. This place can get cramped once it gets busy due to perhaps lack of space compared to other Sunterra locations, but understandable since this location may be one of the oldest locations.

Sunterra is known for premium prices but has a great selection of prepared foods, baked goods and in some locations, prepped meals. The Britannia location has had quality control issues for years and it seems to be getting worse. I keep going back hoping for better due to the convenient distance, but often have to throw out items well before expiry or the most recent issue - pick a half dozen cherry seeds out of a cherry pie after my guests almost broke their teeth. I'll have to go elsewhere for my favorite salads and pies ????

They have good produce, but pre cooked meals are very disappointing. Had beef cannoli, this time, couldn't finish my plate. I appreciate reply from management at sunterra. I took them up on their offer and accepted lasagna for another pre cooked meal........meal was ok. Issue might be that I was raised by Italian mother superchef. But lasagna was pretty bland, very cheesy and very little meat. You haven't lost me as a customer, just will pass on pr-cook meals.

We decided to order our Thanksgiving dinner from Sunterra in an attempt to reduce our stress in Covid times. We placed our order in late September, a good two weeks prior to Thanksgiving weekend, with a delivery window of 4-6 pm on the Sunday afternoon. Today, the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, we waited. And waited. And waited. Then we called... once, twice, three times and got a different answer where our food was each time. Our food finally arrived at 7:50 pm, nearly 2 hours after the delivery window had closed. Everything was ice cold. Not only were we starving but our stress level was way worse than had we cooked turkey dinner ourselves. Thanks for ruining our evening, Sunterra. Not ordering a holiday meal from you again!

Unhelpful staff. First in milk section - couldn’t find the milk I always buy here. Asked someone who was fixing up the shelves - he just stared, kinda said - I guess we don’t have it? I could see that myself, I would have liked to know where I can find it, or if you have more, or if more is coming on a different day? Then went to cheese isle - couldn’t find havarti cheese. Asked a lady in ‘bread’ - she also just stared unenthusiastically and said - whatever is on the shelf... thanks. Asked another person, they just stood next to me looking. Just seems that staff are not knowledgeable about products they carry, and aren’t super helpful.

Grab breakfast and lunch here all of the time and it’s always a healthy choice and very good. Love the egg and cheese breakfast wraps as well as the turkey club wrap. Staff is always helpful and friendly and all of the free samples don’t hurt either. Parking is a little tricky since the expansion of the mall so do yourself a favor and park on the south side I. The parking lot.

Christmas turkey dinner was underwhelming. The turkey itself was fine and the banana cream pie (at Christmas?!) was very good, but the rest was meh, except for the odd mix of squash, peppers, and onions which was disgusting mush. I have lived in the area for 10+ years and only go to this store when absolutely necessary because of its limited product selection and rather exorbitant prices on fruits and vegetables. The last time I was in they had the back parking lot entrance blocked off (for covid reasons?) and they were only allowing customers in through the plaza entrance. I was physically stopped by an employee for trying to leave after I paid because there was another person entering around the same time I was exiting, and I needed to let them go by first...Apparently I wasn't allowed to walk past another person for 5 seconds on my way out (even though we're all wearing masks)? This makes no sense to me since the employee who stopped me was standing right by the doors/baskets less than 6 feet from all the customers entering and exiting, for presumably their whole shift. Haven't been back since as this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I do really enjoy going to Sunterra to shop. This particular location is small and quaint. It offers the average selection of product, baked goods etc. The best part of Sunterra is their quality and selection of meat products. Downside is everything is super pricy. I've had told this to management more than once. The quality of the food here ( meat and prepared foods and pastas ) is bad. Pasta was expired more than once. Meat sold is not always fresh, with bad colors and smells. I bought some wings fot lunch and they were so hard and old ( mind you I bought them at 12:05 for lunch I'm not complaining about wings I purchased at 9pm ) I had to triple check I wasn't chewing on bones. However the people here are amazing and friendly. A shame they don't control food quality.

Ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Sunterra. I had recently moved, company in from out of town, I figured it would be a stress free way to get dinner. Our delivery window was 4-6 pm. At 6:30, I called to find out where my food was. I had to call numerous numbers and locations to actually get someone on the phone. She told me they were behind but to call back in a half hour if I didn't get my food. At 7, I called and got someone far less helpful. She told me hopefully my food will be there by 8. She then said hopefully by 9. For food that was to be delivered between 4 and 6. At 730 we called again, received apologies and they will pass our message on. 8:22 pm my food arrived. Over 2 hours outside the window. The food was cold, it needed to be microwaved. I was disappointed with the quality of the food, there was nothing especially interesting or flavorful about it. For the price I paid, I expected better. I contacted Sunterra asking they contact me to resolve this issue. I wanted to give them an opportunity to make it right but I guess they have opted not to contact me and do so. Unfortunately my out of town guests and myself were left disappointed and hungry for most of Thanksgiving. I will not be ordering food from sunterra ever again nor will I shop there. I recommend you do the same. Edit: A month later, Sunterra reached out to me. Claudio was very apologetic about what happened and offered to make it right. I am pleased with the response we received from Sunterra and Claudio especially who was very good. I have adjusted my rating in light of Sunterra reaching out to me. I I also enjoyed the food much more this time.

We had a wonderful experience here, which proved to us Sunterra TRULY caters to their customers' needs. In a world of meek customer service, that is seriously refreshing! Lured into the store by their fresh produce and ingredients, we were hoping to get something to eat outside as we walked around the area, but couldn't find what we wanted. The General Manager noticed our hesitation and asked what we were looking for. When we said a panini, he inquired about ingredients, said "okay, I can do that" and proceeded to the grill to make us our paninis. We were so impressed by his initiative, kindness (and of everyone else we interacted with!) and it was honestly the best damn panini. We will absolutely be back!

Just had there precooked cabbage rolls! Will not have them again! There was literally no ground beef! at all! Wound up with rice, rolled in cabbage leaf with bland tasting tomato sauce! I do not enjoy leaving a bad review ! The gal I spoke with was very decent! She offered a replacement! This is really the straw that broke the camels back. Have eaten breakfast there many times! Do not order grocery delivery ! Charged delivery sent half of my list every item sent was marked up and not the stuff I ordered. Completely dissatisfied. Sunterra you can do better . Tried calling and manager too busy shopping to even answer. Not one item on my order was right . One mess up is ok but not nine items !

This used to be a place I would go out of my way for. The long term serving staff that have been there seem to be going through the motions these days. Not actively engaging customers and being helpful like they once where. Times are changing and no longer does the service warrant going the extra miles to ship here

I miss the old Sunterra's service. I struggle at the til to carry my groceries. As I get "balanced" enough to get to the door, as a second thought the cashier asks if I'd like a hand - LOL. I didn't make sense at that point. And then the auto door didn't open - those things are heavy with your arms loaded up.

Honestly, I have had my last bad experience here. I just picked up a prime rib roast that cost over $200. I asked for it to be trimmed so that I could make gravy. Instead of doing that, they gave me a roast that was trimmed way too much and handed me a separate chunk of fat. Before this, I had been shopping in the store, was rudely shuffled from check out line to check out line, finally paid for my groceries and was chased out of the store by the clerk, accusing me of not paying. Of course, I had. No apologies.

Awesome place to pop in and grab a few things for dinner, with the small space there is always an employee happy to help you with anything you need. However was extremely disappointed in the manager working, she was shouting towards an employee to hurry over a busy area with customers, and while the two young ladies helping me out bag a few items, manager then walked by and snatched the empty bag out of the girls hand. Was an extremely awkward atmosphere and hope Im not there again same time as her working.

We ordered our Thanksgiving dinner and picked it up Thanksgiving Day. The meal was cold - I didn't expect that. I tried to call to have it warmed but the phone wasn't being answered. That's ok. They were busy. The meal - the soup was outstanding, but the only thing that was. The salad was ok but no dressing. The turkey was ok - like deli turkey - the cranberry sauce was canned. The potatoes were a little lumpy and the vegetables were soggy. The biggest disappointment was the dessert. Having been promised pumpkin pie, the pumpkin apple tart didn't look at all appetizing and tasted worse. Considering that the meal was quite expensive, it could and should have been so much better.

I recently ordered a seasonal feast from Sunterra Market, and my experience was so disappointing (both picking up and ordering the meal) that I won't be a customer again. Firstly, I inquired if any substitutions could be made to the meal via e-mail. After three days without a response and figuring things were busy, I phoned to inquire and was given another e-mail address to contact, and was told substitutions were not possible as the meals were pre-made and pre-packaged. I placed an order anyway, and the next day received a response to my initial e-mail saying that substitutions were possible and giving me the choice of two options. I explained I had placed an order and requested a substitution as outlined, but did not receive a response. Since I had already paid and chosen a pick-up time/location (at Britannia Plaza) when I placed my initial (non-substituted) order, I went to pick it up using curbside pickup. Upon arriving, I phoned from the parking lot as instructed and was told they'd advise I was here "right away" and bring my order out. I waited 30 minutes, then decided to go into the store, but there was a line-up due to capacity restrictions. I phoned again from the line-up to explain the situation and that I was waiting for curbside pickup outside, and was told they'd advise that I was in the line-up "right away". Again, no one came out with my order. I made it into the store and was directed initially to the deli, then to a third individual who finally found and gave me my order. I explained that I had been waiting nearly an hour for curbside pickup and that no one had come out with my order, but was barely paid any attention to - the staff I spoke to was extremely dismissive. Unfortunately, the quality of the meal did not make up for the service and a "curbside pickup" wait of nearly an hour, making the entire experience extremely disappointing. After this experience, I will not order from Sunterra Market again.

Feels like a small town grocery store with incredibly friendly and helpful staff who genuinely seem to enjoy their work. They have great selection of deli and premade meats, and fresh produce. We typically will go out of our way to go here over Safeway or Sobeys.

I was disappointed with the results of the prepared chicken fajitas mix I recently purchased. The spicing was very good, and so the overall taste delivered; however, they hadn't taken the time to remove the chewy tendon piece from the chicken pieces so both of us got a nasty, chewy bit in our finished fajita that we had to take out of our mouths! Taking the 10 seconds per piece to do this behind the counter would certainly increase the enjoyment and justify the price of the product.

It's sunterra so their selection of fresh meals is alright, but the atmosphere, quality, and over priced food is unacceptable. Either get a renovation or move locations because this location is not a reflection of what sunterra normally is.

This place has become quite run down from what it was in the past. I recently bought a cake from the back bakery area and was shocked by the amount of flies hovering around the food. The cake I bought was in the fridge which is sealed off, so there weren't any insects there, but the rest of the area was literally swarming with flies... Bread and pastries out in the open are likely exposed. I've never seen this many flies at an indoor grocery store (especially a sunterra) in my life. I likely won't come back to this location ever again. At least the cake was not too bad.

Not big store but with big selection of food. Some products are almost like home made and i was able to find out here a lot of organic products or suitable for low carb diet. They have big selection of take away food like soup, pasta, chicken etc. U can collect sunterra points and exchange them later for shopping in sunterra or few different places.

I usually enjoy going to the sunterra markets but this time was quite disappointing and concerning for potential costumers. I purchased a chicken pot pie and got it ready for dinner, once it was cut up we realized it was pork inside instead of chicken, as chicken was what the packaging said. Make sure to double check meats you can't see at sunterra if you do have dietary restrictions!

Went to the store on Sat. Love the cream horns with the pistachios from the store on McLeod. Bought two of them and two mixed berry white choc almond scones. I bit into the cream horn and something was wrong. It was so old that the cream smelled like malt vinegar and the pastry part crumbled. It was gross. This morning, was going to have my scone. Not one berry, not one piece of white choc and not one almond. I will buy my scones from Cobs and find another place to buy the cream horns. So disappointed.
