HORRIBLE!!! FROM THE VERY MOMENT WE ENTERED THE RESTAURANT THE SERVICE WAS GARBAGE. The lady who "welcomes" you was very rude, no manners whatsoever and the waitress the same thing. We asked if a plate had shrimps, she said yes and at the end it didn't have. We told her and the usual excuse nowadays " i didnt understand you because of the mask". They shouldnt be working at a restaurant if they don't know anything about customer service. I couldnt ask to talk to a manager, however i wish I could. Giving 1 star because i have to rate however it doesnt even deserve 1/8 of a star.

Went there with my family and the kids food was ready before my wife's and mine, my daughters rice was burnt and my daughter only got 2 chicken strips for her dinner. My steak was red when I ordered well done, and my wife's steak was bloody when she ordered well done, also again burnt rice.

So, I don't usually eat at chain restaurants but I've never eaten at a Red Lobster and this seemed like a good time to do it. We arrived on an icy night when half the staff had been sent home and half of Kingston seemed to think it was a good night to eat out. Our wonderful server Dave was completely unflustered and proceeded to serve us the most magnificent steak and lobster surf and turf I have had in a very long time. The steak was beautiful The lobster was lovely and fresh. It wasn't a cheap meal and worth every cent we paid for it. Thanks guys for working your bums off and for providing us with a lovely evening and a very nice memory.

I am so happy with this restaurant. The food was amazing as always at Red Lobster, the lobster mashed potatoes was incredible. But it was the service that really blew us away. We came on our anniversary and our waitress was unbelievably nice to us. Always right there when we needed something, happy as the day is long. If you are in Kingston, please I beg you, come here. You will not be disappointed, and if you're able to get the waitress initials A.C. you will have the time of you life. P.s. try the lobster mashed potatoes, they are the most delicious thing I've ever eaten.

The lighting was terrible, it was too dark. It took too long to get food, about 20 minutes to ge drinks then over half hour after that to get food. Truly ridiculous. Food was good once it got there though.

The service was good, a little more expensive from our last visit, my wife potatoes was hard like a rock (undercooked) twice, pasta was looking a little dry and the taste was not has great from previous visit. Very disappointed. It seems the price went up but you are getting less for your money. I will think twice before going back for a meal.

Had the Ultimate feast. Arrived at 4:30 for dinner. Plenty of parking close to the entrance. No lines when we arrived so we were seated right away. Our server was prompt and took our drink order right away. There was a larger than usual menu due to it being Lobsterfest. Our food came to the table around 15 minutes after we ordered. The food was hot and was looked excellent. Each of your orders were correct. The server continued to check back to make sure we had everything we needed. The food tasted as expected, fresh and cooked perfectly. The prices were average for a seafood restaurant. If your looking for seafood? I would recommend eating here.

Last night was my first time ever having Red Lobster. I ordered mushroom caps, mozzarella sticks, and two orders of fish and chips. I only live five minutes away. Honestly I would not recommend ordering takeout. The mushroom caps were like a bed of cheese dried up on top of six mushrooms. The Fish was so small and the fries were like they were left over from the day before. The only thing worth eating more than mozzarella sticks. I even tried using my air fryer to reheat the fries. I still couldn’t eat them. The only thing worth eating with the mozzarella sticks. Thank God it was a gift card and I didn’t have to use my own money. I’m sure eating in would be much better than having takeout.

Dinner was lovely. We had a large group. The only negative thing to say is that the waitresses had a hard time keeping up with the demands of the group. They were a bit on the slow side. They brought my husband his salad but nothing to eat it. They didn't bring biscuits....I think this is a staffing glitch and not the fault of the ladies. The ladies were very sweet and were able to addres us by our names within a few minutes. Well done. There maybe could have been another server to help for a few minutes.

The food and service was fine BUT....I ordered a feast and cesar salad, the cesar salad came and no issue, the feast came later without rice or potato she said that was the cesar salad!! So I had a plate of seafood only. I guess Red Lobster decide to no longer provide either with the platter meal! It has to be ordered separately at a cost of course. We were told they did not want to raise the cost of the plate so they removed food from it? So when ordering any food be sure of what you are getting, if you order a steak I guess you will get a steak on the plate with NOTHING else. Enough said.

The service was great finally and the food was plentiful and hot. BUT before we got in, the clients we needed for our table of 6 were not moving on, even though they had paid their bill. The staff would not ask them to leave. The front end, could & should have gone to the table and gently said others were waiting outside in the cold to come in and if they were ready could they give up the table. Speaking as a previous proprietor there are a number of ways to deal with these type of customers and, I would have done something in that nature. Finally, My husband became frustrated and cold and finally went in himself and told the guests in question that we were waiting and could they please move on. Only then did they moved out. It should not have been our responsibility to expend that effort to have a seat. I realize that covid has put a cramp in things but this definitely was unacceptably.

This was the BEST meal we've ever had at any Red Lobster anywhere!!! Service was excellent and there are no words to describe how fantastic the food was. Food taste has gone down over the past few years. Most of the meal tasted oily like. Not somewhere I will likely visit on a regular basic. Had the Admirals Feast, all the battered items tasted the same and oily. Baked potato was fine. Mints should be made available after each meal or at the door. My wifes steak was cooked correctly and tasted good.

I always find the restaurant a bit hot and with hot food I get uncomfortable. I had shrimp alfredo. Filling but it was nothing I couldn't make at home. Noodles white sauce and a bunch of tiny frozen fron a package shrimp $18. I started with clam chowder not much clam in it. My wife loves the buns. When I eat out I hope for something special. Didn't get it here.

Large table for mothers day, 10 ppl. Waitress messed up 3 orders. Took way too long, even considering that it was mothers day. Took almost 2hrs to get our meals. Quality is good, quantity/value lacking. Wife ordered the sirloin for $28. It was just the steak and broccoli, steak was maybe 8-10 oz's and under done, as well as a little less than 1/4 grissol. Kids meals were underwhelming as well, just very small portion of meat and 1 side. Plates were not cleared unless asked, Bill took forever to receive. Start to finish just under 3 hrs.

Our waitress was extremely friendly and efficient, and the food was very good. We shared an appetizer platter and with the biscuits was just enough for us. I ordered a sangria and it was way too sweet and was replaced with a glass of wine. The food was fresh, well made and tasted great. Overall a very pleasant lunch.

Mussel dish was not good at all and the rice was undercooked by probably 10minutes. Other than that, everything was good. They were 15minutes late for curbside pickup apparently because we were in a to go parking lot. We were the only red car so I'm not sure why that makes sense.

We were told that it was going to be a 50 minute and after 25 to 30 minutes we were sitting down and that was great. That's where it stops..... after waiting two hrs at the table and being told that our food is on the way every ten minutes it come out and the plates were warm but not the food or butter for the crab legs.As WE were their at least four tables got up and left. It used to be good but this is the second time in two years and we are not going to return to the establishment ever. We were going to get up to leave but the food came out just before. It's not the falt of wait staff it's the structure of the kitchen staff and management.

Personally I had the Crab linguini and the fire grilled scallops which I had no real complaints about (btw the pasta is extremely heavy/filling) but it seemed that the crab was a little to strong as if it was canned compared to the in shell legs anyway, also the scallops in the admiral's feast seemed to be more like texture for the breadings flavor instead of enjoying them as scallops they may aswell have been shrimp, on the other hand the service was great we were given a table for 5 almost instantly and they were polite checking every 2-4 minutes to see what we wanted to order and to refill our drinks and biscuits so all in all the food was great outside of what was already mentioned.

Made my daughter really sick. She had diarrhea twice that night after eating there. She had the shrimp Alfredo. I had the clam chowder soup and they don’t give crackers anymore. The lobster pizza is gone from the menu-one of our favourite things. My daughter only ate 1/2 her meal hoping to take it home and the server didn’t ask if she wanted a takeout container she just started clearing the table and piled dishes on top of my daughter’s leftover food. My daughter was so disappointed but afterwards was glad because of being so sick. Salad use to come with the meal now it doesn’t. We are noticing the cut backs and it’s not the first time red lobster has made my daughter sick just not to this extent. Don’t think we will be going back.

We have really poor service the night we were there that would be specific to our visit. It is a popular spot, be very specific when you order of what you're ordering point to the product we were serve something other than what we had selected. Restaurant was able to split bills nicely. Washrooms are fine. We had a child with us and his visit was handled well as well. Other guests with us enjoyed their visit. Overall okay but I did not like this restaurant

Their menus although very diverse is very dairy dominant. In this day and age restaurants like these need to diversify their menu for the allergic folk. That being said the server we had was very helpful and making sure my dish was dairy free and safe for me to eat. We had to change my plate a bit and avoid the butter which made my food a bit drier but I didnt end up getting sick. So that was cool

This is the Red Lobster we usually visit because of its convenient location in Scarborough. I came with a friend last week to try it's Thursday dinner special. We usually sat at the bar because we didn't have to wait for a table, and the bartender Renaldo were always friendly, pleasant and efficient. The special featured dinner for two was $42. It included a starter and we picked the Sweet Chilli Shrimp. There were 9 flavourful good size shrimps over a bed of salad. The main course included 2 grilled lobster tails, a skewer of 4 large juice scallops, 6 garlic shrimps and 6 deep fried butterfly shrimps, with 2 sides of potatoes or veggies. Everything was delicious. The dinner ends with a large slice of chocolate cake a la mode. The cake had a light texture. Overall it was a great dinner and great value for $42. We may come back for the same dinner on another Thursday before the special is over.

Ordered the captains choice meal for lunch and made me horribly sick with severe stomach cramps, bw's as well. Should have taken it as a sign when the table sitting diagonal to us had a problem w their dish as well, fish undercooked, her plate was returned chef came to her table very apologetic I thought nothing more of it ate my meal until afterwards I'm clenching my stomach and suffering I suppose same problem w my dish.

Went for the ayce shrimp promo they have going right now. Food and service was impeccable for a Tuesday evening dinner. We both had a ceasar salad to start (they use parmesan petals vs shake) and followed with several different shrimp dishes. Very pleased with the whole service. Teriyaki shrimp and garlic shrimp were our favorites.

Yuck! We are from Montreal, so we don't have Red Lobsters in Quebec. We stop for lunch. Caesar salad was way too salty. Our Lobster taco came with a spicy mayo that was so spicy, you could not taste the lobster. We will not be going back, there are plenty of other choices to get a meal. Red Lobster has a lot of work to do, if they want better reviews.

As it was our fsvorite place and being a singe dad on disability i thought it would be a food gift for us. All i did was ask why my meal did not come with a salad and. And that completely set him off and he stared on a rant about it must have been a long time since ive been there and they quit giving you free salad with your dinner when they increased minimum wage. So whatever hes having a bad day then i get my meal and its literaly the not any bigger then my sons being very talkative to him but he lost me when I saw the attitude he gave to my son so i asked for a manager big mistake she had even worse attitude and said well what do you want me to do they just eyeball the fries I wanted to say well eyeball eyeballsome more or csn i just eyeball you out the bill? But I felt we were labled when we used a gift card. I kinda feel like we maybe kids lol ster tail and he evenhad I aske more fries so i asked the waiter if he could explain why my meal is the same as his. The I ly thing i had more then him was about 10 shrimp and it cost me 20$ more. Im not jokingg his 12.99 meal had more fries and a bigger tail then my 30$ meal so i paid 20$ for a shrimp skewer. I tryed to asked the manager wht but he had allready decided we were nit even worth being nice to idk if it was the gift card or possibly my son's autism and my disability disrupted them idk im not saying that was it but to be honeat i kind of feel like we were reguarded as lower class then they wanted or thought maybe we wouldnt be back because of the gift card I gave away the remainder and the cupon they would not accept that came with it when i left.

But I was in the service industry for years and never tip less than 20%. First time visiting after covid-19 lock downs. We initially waited 45mins till we were able to get inside. After getting our food which took about 1 hour after ordering. Not sure why it took that long. Turn around took awhile for other people to sit down. It was worth the wait since we didn't have sea food for little over 1 year now. If you're willing to wait, I guess you can wait like us. 5 star rating due to good food and great service.

All you can eat shrimp was amazing ! But do yourself a favour and dont get the Coconut shrimp. Served with a very sweet sauce. Plus the shrimp itself was very sugary.

Not sure what's happening with Red Lobster, but, something has changed in the preparation of their meals... I always get the shrimp trio, and the last 2 times there.. the meals have been sub par for what my bill for 2 dinners were... May have to find a new fave... Oshawa & Kingston... You've changed... ☹️

The service was good. The food, lobster tail and skewer of shrimp, was very salty. Plate sizes are not worth the money and the floors were filthy. You would think for 80$ per couple you'd get at least basic hygiene and a good meal. Not going back, ever!

The Red Lobster is always a special destination in our household. It can be just for the two of us or for visiting family. The menu has so many great choices although I often find myself ordering either the Admirals or Ultimate Feasts. The servers are very professional and friendly and we are always able to find a booth in our favourite central area. Parking is always available even though there are always lots of other diners.

I'd hate to knock down a restaurant where service was good but the food lacked taste, the clam chowder soup tasted like cream with very little seafood in it, the main dish I got tasted flat, the lobster tails and other seafood had "NO TASTE", the garlic sauce was weak. The breaded shrimps fried in coconut my friend got tasted only like coconut and batter, he fed his takeout to some seagulls ..I'm surprised people rate this type of average food 4.3 stars..

Took my son for a seafood dinner and Red Lobster did not disappoint. Atmosphere was good, seafood was priced appropriately for what it was. We ended up splitting one of the "feast" meals and we still ended up having leftovers. Service was relatively quick and we left happy.

There was a mix up when i placed my order by phone. When i contacted Red Lobster on Bath Rd concerning this and spoke with the manager, he immediately took responsibility (although it wasnt his directly to take). The only real question he asked was "What can i do to fix this?" My expectations were over-exceeded! Everybody makes mistakes but its rare to find someone who takes responsibility for them! I would highly recommend this Red Lobster to anyone! Thank you!

Sadly the rating for me went down two stars after the last visit. The waitres kept calling everyone at the table hun , friend , sweetie. (Not everyone like this kind of thing and it was pretty annoying). Also for some reason , my Side (which was a salad) came like 30 min before the main dish and then i got an empty plate with a small piece of chicken (obviously I'd prefer to have it on the same plate and served SIDE BY SIDE).

I went during Crabfest... twice so far. The food is really good although very pricey. For two people to eat there with Cokes to drink it was over $100. The wait staff has always been really friendlyand helpful.

The food was ready quickly and cooked very well. There was a hiccup with their lineup/calling service as out phone number was dropped and we were not notified of our table. But the restaurant staff was very kind and gave us free desserts for that mistake. Red Lobster's signature biscuits are amazing, soft, crumbly, fresh and warm. The main dishes were served perfectly cooked and in good portion sizes. The drinks were also good especially the peach smoothie. My only complaint was the ceasar salad, it was too saucy/salty and had no crunch, seemed to have been mixed with the sauce at least 10 mins before being served. It would have been perfect of it were served with the sauce on the side as then it wouldn't wilt and the customer could adjust the sauce level. Other then that a perfect meal :) Thank you Red Lobster!

Felt a little bad ordering takeout less than an hour to close but after being on the road for 3 weeks I needed my Red Lobster fix!! Took a couple extra minutes but the ladies at the bar were friendly. The order came out PERFECT - followed special requests exactly, great portion size, lots of food worth the price. Red Lobster fix = satisfied!!!

On July 26, 2020, I had the pleasure of having a girls night out in Kingston with my best friend. We went to Red lobster and I have to say, as a formal Assistant Manager(AGM) of a franchise food chain, our server Jennifer was exactly what we call the cream of the crop in the food industry. She always smiled and made sure we were taken care of even tho we had to hurry to catch a poool booking at our hotel. But I just want to say that she went above and beyond for my meal, as I just wanted a boiled lobster with no cracked shells and stuffed mushrooms and she made it happen. Has a Newfie that was heaven for me. So once again thank you so much to Red Lobster for the amazing experience but most of all, thank you Jennifer for being you. Let your lite shine in this cruel and unsure world. We need way more people like you around. I would say that this lady deserves something special for Outstanding service. And it was even outstanding after we had paid the bill!!!!!!! ???? Shout out from Jess and Kayla!!! The two girls in the corner booth drinking mimosas and sangria!!!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!

We arrived on an icy night when half the staff had been sent home and half of Kingston seemed to think it was a good night to eat out. Our wonderful server Dave was completely unflustered and proceeded to serve us the most magnificent steak and lobster surf and turf I have had in a very long time. The steak was beautiful The lobster was lovely and fresh. It wasn't a cheap meal and worth every cent we paid for it. Thanks guys for working your bums off and for providing us with a lovely evening and a very nice memory.
