Tastes just like home! Some of the best carry out food in the city. Only place I know to get battered sausages. Hand cut fries and potato nachos are to die for. Will definitely be ordering more :)

I ordered from Mrs Chippy last weekend and we loved it and would recommend it. We got a Garlic cheese chips, taco chips and battered sausages. As an Irish person living in Calgary and craving Irish chipper food all the time (especially garlic cheese chips - drool), this was a wonderful treat. Will definitely be getting more again soon.

Really delicious fish and chips. We tried the haddock and the cod and both were cooked fabulously, super crispy but also moist inside. The chips were really good too, Tartar sauce was great but they forgot my coleslaw lol. Definitely my new favourite fish and chips spot in Calgary

1st time i ordered was great but i Ordered the take away tonight Spice bag was rough and they forgot my two battered sausages and the fish burger had way too much sauce and toppings and fell apart and chips were soggy.

Craving batter sausages FOREVER and these guys did not disappoint! Super delicious.. We also had chicken curry chips which were just like home and hubby LOVED the taco fries!! Go raibh maith agat xx

ALWAYS ITEMS MISSING WHEN ORDERING TAKEOUT.... This will be the second time where I've ordered delivery and items were missing. Ordered a kids hamburger meal which is advertised to come with a small chips. Chips were missing. Restaurant told me to contact skip for a refund.... skip proceeded to inform me that after contacting the restaurant, the staff informed skip that the kids meal come with fries, not chips.... YOU WORK AT A CHIP SHOP. It is literally in the name.... regardless, after informing skip that the chips ARE fries, they offered me $3. Didn't expect a FULL refund on the entire order, just a refund on the kid meal. Now I have a kid that's being fed half a meal for supper and the $3 dollar refund won't even get me a full meal replacement. Lovely. First time I chalked it up to just a mistake, but after messing up two of my orders, will not be ordering from Mrs. Chippy again. I'm going to suggest that the restaurant have someone double check orders before sending them out for delivery... seems to be a bit of a pattern if you read the reviews....

This is not a chippy! The chips were fries not Irish chips and the haddock was unexciting and a little dry. Very disappointing! Thought it might be really fish and chips but just standard Canadian pub version. Fergus and Bix does a way better job and doesn’t pretend to do real chips!

Ordered here through skip the dishes. We got the wrong order delivered, and got refunded. Tried to order again right away, and the restaurant cancelled our order without explanation and would not accept it! Not good customer service for our first time using here. Not happy at all.

I went to pick up food here and it's actually just the James Joyce pub. The menu prices online are out of date, so you might as well just order from the James Joyce instead. The food was okay, but for the price, you'd expect a bit higher quality for fish and chips and I'd recommend just checking out Joey's or Chicken on the Way for the equivalent at a cheaper price.

Really disappointing. Not recommended. Was expecting real chips (they were frozen and advertised as hand cut). Nothing remotely authentic about this experience.

Ordered the taco chips and the garlic cheese chips. The battered sausages are a must try as well. So delicious for a treat on the weekend. Ordered a side of curry sauce as well, it's probably the best curry sauce I've ever had!

Super tasty fish and chips! The curry sauce is just like in Ireland. The tartar sauce is exceptional. The chips were perfect. The star of the show were the garlic cheese chips though - absolutely decadent and amazing! You must try it.
