my girlfriend and I shop here often, we find the Fresh meat here to be VERY good and cheap, unlike the gassy disgusting bloated feeling from safeway's meat... the meats here don't give us that!

So far, I have nothing to complain. The prices are higher then other groceries stores obviously but not thaaaaat high. When you can't go to a big grocery store and need something quick, they pretty much have everything. I shop there every week for small things and sometimes they actually have promotions in some stuff that are cheaper than other bigger brand stores.

I'd rate it higher if it had a decent bakery section, the baked goods are over priced and limited, that's why I just walk ten minutes to Safeway, Kay's has many discounted prices on goods about to expire, that's okay if you have a freezer or expect to eat it right away (always check the expiry date), the meat section is clean and I've never had a problem with their discounted meat, sometimes you can get a real bargain for individual meals.

Went over the other day and the lady at the counter told me that they had 2 minutes to close. I corrected her and said its actually 7 minutes to close. She insisted on 2 minutes and kicked me out before I finished shopping in the most rudest manner I ever experienced. FYI I shop there every time... I called for the manager and the manager agreed with me that I had more time. Apparently her watch which is not connected to network time was set wrong. WOW like I am ever going back there. Walmart doesn't kick you out even after 11pm lol ...

three of the six eggs i purchased were cracked, and the whole carton expires in six days. this does not speak to any standard of fresh produce or consideration. nearly all of their brown sugar was hard as a rock, and their prices are quadruple that of even safeway. save your money and shop elsewhere. buyer beware.

The place sells expired groceries, just a few days ago they were selling expired pop past it's 2 month date. Please make sure to check the expiry dates of whatever you purchase from this store.

This store is a little pricey but the sales are really good. Most of the time, I find it just as expensive as Co-Op. Sometimes you can also get really good deals on meat and produce about to expire. It's a good place to go when you're in a pinch and don't want to travel far. The staff and the manager are also very friendly. My only complaint is... Sometimes when items are on sale, they won't show up as on sale when they're rung in. Also, sometimes the cashier will forget to enter the discount code on 50% off stickered items and I don't notice until I get home which is extremely frustrating.

Whent in to purchase some basil they had it in the plastic factory container the price was 50% off the leaves were black and starting to decay. When I approached the Asian cashier he was around his mid 60s maybe 70 I said to him these are 50% off but they are decaying in the package his response was you can take it or leave it nobody is forcing you to buy them. I live across the street and have been going to this store for a while now and never had this problem or attitude that this employee has I don't think he likes his job if he's the owner he shouldn't be behind the cash register but little did he know that I work for the heath department.

This store only sell expired items and when you talk to the staffs they yell at you back and ask you not to enter this store again, today incident i went there to get yogurt and on the shell the yogurt was expired on May 2, when i informed the asian lady, she started yelling at me and ask me to leave the place as i might informed other the yogurt on the shelve are expired, honestly i am not going back there anymore as most of their stuffs are almost expired and they still sell not just taht the staff are rude and will embarrassed you in public as they have no respect for any customer who come there to buy, the safeway and Co-oop are walking distance too its better shop there

Wanted to write this, I had the same problem as Yikes! I bought rotten cheese there (very overpriced as well), and brought it back insisting I didn't want a refund and just hoped that they fixed the problem, hoping I could give them the benefit of the doubt. Not only a week or two later, I also brought a carton of milk home which turned out to be rotten. I am not returning and agree that anybody in the area should skip this store and make the trip to the Safeway.

Convenient little grocery store for when you need a few items. They’re not the biggest store so they don’t always have what you need, but I can’t count how many times they’ve saved me when I needed something at the last minute. They’re a little bit more expensive than big name grocery stores and sometimes they close a few minutes early, but overall a handy little place.
