Troy with AFC was phenomenal. He found our first fish for us while he was demonstrating the technique and we were off to the races. He engaged my daughter, got her baiting her own hooks and giving her pointers. Landed over a dozen nice walleye and pike in the first few hours. Troy was knowledgable and made the trip easy and comfortable especially during this uncertain time. There isn't more than a 5 star rating or I would give it to him.

Amazing 1st time fishing experience! Troy is very friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable. He knows the where the fishes are. We caught 38 walleyes and Northern pikes! Can't achieve that without his guidance. He helps to unhook the fish and hand over to us for pictures. Very hospitable service! You can easily get hurt in unhooking the fishes. He is also very patient and answer our questions. We feel better when Troy tells us that the fishes will have no problems healing after they are released back to the lake as they are average 6/7 year old in good health and they get recovered from worse fighting against their peers in all these years. Overall amazing trip. Will definitely revisit for ice fishing when my parents visit us next time!

July 30. Great day today with Troy on Crawling Reservior. After many fishing trips over the past 3-4 years, my 12 year old granddaughter caught her first fish 30 seconds after dropping her line. Made her day. Final count - granddaughter 8, Grandpa 9. I highly recommend Troy for his knowledge, super coaching, great gear and just a real nice guy to spend a day with.

We had a wonderful experience with Troy. We were 11 in the family including four who came from Brazil to do Ice Fishing. Kids simply loved it. Troy was very professional - everything was impeccably ready when we arrived; kind and helpful mainly with the kids. Troy setup two tents and drew holes inside them so part of the family was able to enjoy the adventure in a warm environment. We highly recommend to families who want to give a different experience to kids. Thank you Troy!

My son was visiting from Dubai and I booked a fishing trip for the two of us. Troy emailed two days before with all of the details and directions. We arrived at 9:00 and had our lines in the water by 9:15. We stopped counting at 40 walleye and pike! We jigged and trolled for variety and caught fish no matter which way we fished. Troy was super organized and personable. All of the equipment was excellent. I can’t think of a better way to spend a day than on the water with Troy. Can’t wait for the next trip!

My kids and I went out on our first fishing charter with Troy and he was fantastic .We caught and released 26 fish. If you want to go fishing with someone who is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and catch lots of fish,then this is the charter for you. I will be doing this again soon.

My husband and I went for a Northern Pike and Walleye Guided Fishing Tour with Troy on October 5 as our last day of our honeymoon and it was amazing. Troy was friendly and a blast be out in the water with. His boat was very comfortable and the most important, the fish were plentiful. I caught 7 nice sized pike and walleye and the husband caught 14. I would 5 out of 5 recommend Troy and can't wait to come back and try the Trophy Fishing Tour with him!

Troy - 5 Stars +++ Thanks for an amazing day in the middle of a heat wave in July. Awesome fishing, catching well over 20 fish, as well as sharing the tips and tricks and guiding us to the best opportunities for the day. My boys and I had the best fishing day we have ever had in Alberta. The 27 inch Walleye Morgan caught was incredible, along with all the Pike the boys caught throughout the day probably avg 4-6 lbs. We are looking forward to ice fishing sometime and then having an opening day experience on Lake Newall.

Awesome experience even better results catching lake trout!! Wife and I were visiting from North Carolina and leaned on Troy for his input on putting us on fish. He recommended one lake and we agreed to meet there. Less than 10 mins into the trip rods were bending. Absolutely awesome. We ended up putting 30+ in the boat.
