I am located a fair distance from the store in North Vancouver, and the owner (Darius) drove 35 minutes to personally deliver my order to me. Local delivery is a game changer! He was polite, friendly, and very generous— he gave me a 10% discount card for my next order, as well as some Catappa leaves. Plants were algae free and at a glance also pest free. Moss was a bit stringy, but that should be due to the fact that it was grown free floating. Nonetheless, the portions were generous. One of the few places to get high end Japanese imports, namely ADA and DOOA. Absolutely recommend!

Intimate shop with a good selection of quality fish, plants, and aquarium supplies. I'm new to the fish world and learned a ton about proper care from the shop owner, Dariusz. He's a real pro and a great guy to boot. He's been taking care of fish for over 30 years since he was a young kid growing up in Poland, and it shows in his practical expertise of the hobby. I think it's important that we support folks like him who are passionate about providing good lives for high quality fish. Looking forward to going back soon, and glad to have Dariusz nearby to answer any tricky questions that will inevitably come up!

The WetHabitat website is clear and easy to use and it is so nice to have delivery option on the website as well. It also states the difficulty of each fish and if the fish is locally bred. Darius is the best. He messages you for your availability time after purchasing online, he listens to your comments, follows them seriously and he remembers your name and address. Who else does that? He is a genius.

Dariusz was super patient with my wife and I as we were trying to pick livestock out, and was able to give us a lot of tips and advice on keeping them. A small local aquarium shop that is about the size of a large closet, but filled with lots of fish, shrimp, plants, and gear of all sorts. Tanks inside are crystal clean and all livestock is active and healthy. Owner is friendly, quick to answer questions, and seems very honest. Excellent website that is updated to show if anything is out of stock and prices are competitive.

I was in need of emergency needs sand product so on so fort and they were closed due to covid but he came to the store from home just to help me out obviously we kept our distance but the fact that he came out in the time of my need and I needed it really bad to lol he came out to help me. I learn alot from him and his wife/girlfriend they are very knowledge able and specialized in ada products and some other products I used the ada sand I purchased from him and I'm pleased with the purchase it looks majestic white golden sand :p They are a new store and honestly looks like a mini aquascape art exhibit in there. Great if u wanna go in to get some inspiration in how to aquascape your tanks. They can set u up for success Thanks guys ! Keep up the great work

Absolutely amazing experience! We purchased items from their very user friendly online store. Because we were local, they were great enough to deliver our products so we didn't need to pay for courier services! Very friendly and great customer service. They even responded to questions late at night through IG! They're also an authorized ADA retailer which is awesome! Good variety of products from livestock to hardscape goods, definitely would recommend any aquarium hobbyist to check them out!

Great one stop shop (despite it seeming tiny), competitive prices, and with a super approachable and helpful owner. As a novice aquarium hobbyist, it is important to me to walk into an aquarium shop and be able to ask questions without worrying that the employees will be annoyed or impatient about the fact that I don’t have much knowledge of any of the stuff at all. Here, I always feel like I can ask the owner anything and he will thoroughly explain everything, give honest recommendations, and never push any sales onto me. I appreciate that kind of service! Love coming in here to see the setups and talk with a passionate hobbyist. Although it's a small shop (200 sq ft), it's definitely focused on the aquascaping side of the hobby. So don't expect a ton of fish. But if you're looking for hard scape, nano tanks, aquarium plants, shrimp, nano fish and equipment they can set you up.
