Very cheap Asian grocery store with a wide selection of Korean and Japanese goods. They sell items that you will not find anywhere else like sliced pork belly, frozen mackerel and whole squid. The aisles are a little narrow so be careful stuffing too many delicious baked yams, might have trouble getting through in the future

Once you enter the store you can smell the roasted Korean yam. It is super yummy. It was a great store with variety of food for quick grocery run. Prices are very reasonable as well!

Wow, was not expecting to find a Korean grocery here but so glad google showed me the way. I’ve lived in the area for about a 10min drive from Kim’s for a few months now and always ended up going to Korea Town in Burquitlam. But this place HAS EVERYTHING you could possibly need in Asian/Korean goods. This is THE SPOT. Fresh in-house make side dishes and kimbap as well! Cheap prices and specials!

The shelves are tightly packed with all sorts of Korean goods such as a wide range of sauces and oils, a huge selection of cup ramen, and numerous pre-cooked frozen asian food. They also have a great meat department with pre-cut meat that is ready to go for your stew or stir-fry. This is also a rare store that carries fresh fish kept on ice as well. The vegetable selection is fresh as well. You can get all the ingredients you need to make a meal from scratch.

I bought a package of Japanese rice cake and they were all moulded. The indicated expiring date was 2017 next year. I brought back the peoduct riding a bike over 10km one way. Their customer service was non existant. I had to wait a long time to see a manager. She had no coutesy. She made me mad and left the store. It was a total waste of my money and time.

When they asked if we needed a bag I said yes. They ring up my items and then I ask for my bag. They said I said I didn't need one and I corrected them saying no I did need one. They said "it'll be 5¢" I said "seriously?" They said "yep" so I had to break the one loonie I carry so they could give me a bag. No apologies, no remorse. Is 5¢ really worth it for them? Especially when they were the ones who misheard me.

Great prices and a surprisingly large selection of grocery, produce, meat and vegetables for a small local grocery store. Often the prices are very competitive, even challenging the larger stores. I like their homemade soft tofu. One perk I discovered is that if you buy $50 of grocery before tax (not including bulk and rice) you can get a $2 coupon for your next purchase.

I love coming here for groceries. They have a huge selection of all the Asian foods and I often find that it's the only place I need to go to for groceries. During the colder months, our family and friends love having hot pot at home. I usually go to Kim's Mart for all my hot pot foods. They have everything...almost. The only thing they don't have and that I have to go elsewhere for is beef balls and pork balls. They have fish balls and fish tofu though! The other day I was planning on making some lemongrass chicken and was surprised to find lemongrass here too! The prices are also very reasonable. I often find myself surprised at how little the cost of the food in my basket is. Also, if you spend $50, they will give you a $2 off coupon for your next visit (there's an expiry date, but they don't really expire...) I love this store and will continue coming for groceries :)

I've been here a few times to buy quick snacks or groceries, but I feel like this time the male staff (possibly the owner?) had eyes that was scrutinizing. I dunno, maybe he wasn't happy we came into the store 15 min before closing? Whatever his problem was, the cashiers were really nice and we will still come back here when we have the chance again. Its nice that it's right off the bike route. Makes it a great destination to ride our bikes.

The store is generally in a good location and sells a good variety of products from different cultures. Definitely a 4 star store. I'm giving them an extra star because they are working on improving their service and sell great baked sweet potatoes my family loves. A few times my wife has had to go back because of mistakes at the cash register, but recently, I notice she doesn't complain about that as much, which tells me the store is trying to improve its service and attention to detail. Sometimes you can get a great deal in the late evening if you go to the back of the produce section.

This Kim's Mart is definitely bigger in size than the one on Broadway. However, I was surprised to find that the Broadway location still has product that I could not find here. For example the Broadway location has frozen pre marinated meat and certain cookies that I could not find here. But this location appears to have more variety of instant noodles, and their fresh produce section was definitely bigger and better laid out. Overall the bigger size means that the aisles are not as cramped and the bigger size allows them to organize and layout things better and that results in a better shopping experience. In an ideal world, I would prefer shopping at this Edmonds location. Unfortunately it's too far out of the way for me.

Over that past 5 plus I have been shopping at this small supermarket and I always brought the basket out at the front after paying. Out of the blue today a cashier asked me to bring the basket to the front right after I put all the foods on counter. This is so outrageous, I have not done yet. Another cashier who speaks English said that was because a lot of customers don't do it. I understand that but at least let me finish paying. It is good they have this new policy, but they really need to train their staff well and thank the customerwho always do that without being told so.

So happy to have this gem of a store within walking distance of our condo. The store is skewed to Korean products and we are Chinese but our family loves Korean cuisine and there is so much overlap in Asian staples, that you are going to have a high probability of finding that Kim's have it and at a good price. Good in store specials which can trigger dinner ideas when you get stuck on what to cook. Fresh meat,fresh fish or at least, thawed on ice. They sell small,ready to eat baked yams...delicious snack! Staff are respectively friendly and I am absolutely certain that when this Covid-19 comes to an end and we don't have to wear masks,regular customers will be greeted with friendly smiles of recognition. Been coming here for several years and always had a pretty neutral experience. Recently, I’ve had nothing but bad attitude from this male cashier with above average BMI, glasses, and a bad haircut. This one time, I had a baby with me and perhaps I was a little slow emptying my basket, but he was RUDE. He tossed my groceries around and threw my receipt which landed on the floor. How embarrassing that I had to pick up the receipt.

Kim's Mart...if you live anywhere in the Edmonds area then ud be in the area of Kim's Mart...its a small market that has every type of rice, u could ever find...u walk within 50 - 100 ft of this place then u'll know ur close u can smell their rice & food being cooked...nmmtmmm...can y smell that fresh buns...rice made to add to ur dinner that u just made...walk in & 1's acknoweged & said hi to... Feel like ur at home looking into ur pull open cupboards...& u just are looking at what u want to make for dinner...that smell reminds me if going to a bakery that was right behind my grandma's place in Scotland...I was about 3 or 4 years old...my older sibiling Colin would-be done paying 4 the buns wed be on our wsy home...it always always the last things that was to get for brunch to be served...so even though i would-be the 1 serving everyone their own warm delicious bun...that's what this store looks & smells come & check it out!!! They started to do a trick when you are checking out. Scanning the item you are buying 2 times or scanning a item ( they hide some experience items under the cashier machine ) that you are not buying. Happens at least 3 times on me. So check the list before you pay to avoid paying something double or paying something you are not getting. NOT A JOKE. Be aware.

Beware of over charge. Look at amount before tapping with Visa. Purchased from Kim's Mart today and a lady called Jiyoung was the cashier. What I didn't realized was she over charged me by one cent when I was tapping with my Visa. I told her about it and she did not say sorry or apologize for her mistake. Instead she was like "is it ok?" Mind you one penny is not a big deal and is not worth asking for a refund and pay again, but if they decided to overcharged every customer by a penny then it's fraud.

I came by several times since its located in such a convenient place. I normally don't review on places but I had such a horrifying experience. They were selling multiple expired food products, which were all well over the expiration date. I brought it over to the counter to address my concern and the cashier just seemed unpleased with it. After I told the cashier lady that it's expired, she told me that she knows and that they put it on the shelf so it can be sold. She told me to put it back and I walked away. Overall, I was shocked by this. I can't believe they're so willing to sell expired items!!

I've lived in this neighbourhood for three years and I'm thrilled that there's finally a grocery store in this building after it sat empty for so long. I love being able to walk down here when I just need an ingredient or two to finish a meal. They're a Korean grocery mostly, but they've got all the basics and then some. It's great.

Convenient (if a little obscure) location a couple minutes' walk from Edmonds Station - from the station, you have the option of either walking towards the bus loop and taking the overpass across the Skytrain tracks, or heading towards the parking lot and taking the unpaved path underneath the guideway. The selection is quite similar to the original Kim’s Mart on Broadway, however they seem to carry a slightly wider selection of meats and have a much bigger selection of refrigerated/frozen goods. Snack selection seems better as well. Only downside I’ve noticed is they lack some of the Japanese items that are carried in the separate store (Sakuraya) on the second story of their Broadway location. I've always liked this place, but what happened today was very disappointing. They had two different prices for the same item with the same brand name and the same amount. I bought the cheaper one, but the cashier lady charged me the higher price. I showed her a picture of the price tag and pointed out the mistake, but she ignored me and did not apologize. I was very disappointed with her bad behavior. Legally, if they put the wrong price on they have to sell it at that price because it's their responsibility. If you go to this store be sure to check your receipt.

This grocery store is a life changer! They offer a thorough variety of mostly Korean groceries, with some american and japanese brands. Great quality produce for great Prices, and the staff are very friendly and helpful!! They're ready made food ia delicious and the house made kimchi and tofu are fantastic. Beware that they get very busy close to close time, and the store is not wheelchair accessible due to narrow isles.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY AT THE STORE They have some products that's supposed to be kept in a freezer, but instead they keep it in a fridge. This product was also in a fridge (it literally says to keep in a freezer on the package in Japanese) It's EXPIRED a year ago (this picture was taken on Nov 5th 2021). About a year ago I bought it and it was MOLDY. Frankly, I can't believe they still sell it... They also sell stuff that doesn't even have expire date written. I noticed that a year ago and still go there every month since they do have some good asian stuff, though I don't buy stuff in fridge or freezer there. Honestly I don't have expectations for them to get better or anything. I just want others to be careful too. Maybe just don't buy stuff in the fridge or freezer. Also whatever happened to their kimbap... I miss it ????

I accidentally found this cute lil Korean store last year when visiting a friend within the area. Although the place is small, I appreciate their efforts putting so much stuff and found they have a good variety of items from fruit veggies, frozen food, snack items and even some bakery goodies. I’d say it’s a mixed of most Korean food with a bit of Japanese food as well. I also found prices are reasonable. I love their Doraemon dorayaki.

This is a little Korean Mart about 4min walk from edmonds skytrain station. As of the time of writing this, the place has just recently opened and the cafe area looks as if it is still getting set up. I'm looking forward to going back when it is open. The stuff they have though!!! I don't know what half of it is but I'm so excited to find out and go back and expand my pantry :) They have a reasonable selection of produce, nothing amazing but hardly shabby either. Looked nice and fresh. I was very surprised to see fresh fish on ice - again it looked nice and fresh. Their meats also looked superb - some lovely pork belly and beef brisket that I need to plan a meal for. It also seems that they sell house-made wonton wrappers, and tofu (firm and soft). Again, it all made me want to plan a meal around them. Their shelves upon shelves of noodles, rice (amazing selection of each for such a tiny store) astounded me. Similarly was the diversity of other pantry products and supplies. I'll be back for sure when I next need several things I currently have at home simply because the brands and types of those products look far better (and in some cases cheaper too) than their equivalent at superstore/T&T/etc. Don't expect too much in terms of Western staples however - for example they had a nice selection of flour but I didn't see the typical bag of white flour you'd get for normal baking. That's not the kind of thing they specialize in. Also, everyone working there (owners maybe?) was incredibly friendly/nice/helpful. TL;DR: Friendly staff, amazing selection of stuff that looked to be superb quality. I'll be back - you should go too!! :) (I'm not affiliated with them in any way, shape or form.
