Two people approached me asking questions about their products, mistakenly thinking I was a staff member. Perhaps a more identifiable uniform may help to identify them from the customers.

First time at Ren's Pet Depot to get food for my sister's dog. Staff was super helpful getting the different products she sent me on her list. All I had to do was stumble my way through the pronunciation of the items and they knew right away where they were. My only wish was that there was a slight discount for buying cases of canned dog food, instead of the same price per can. The location is closer to my house than Pets Smart, so I might have to start shopping here more often. Especially when the mega sales happen.

This location is about the same size as other ones. They had some good sales bins, which most of do not have. I can't believe how expensive dog beds are. They shouldn't be that expensive. We got a few toys and chews for our dogs. Prices are on par with other pet stores.

Excellent pet store for quality food, treats, care items, and toys for all manner of fuzzy friends. The pet rewards programme offered here works well, and indeed we benefit from a free bag of cat food a few times a year which is quite nice. This store is large, clean, and organized and the staff are very friendly and helpful so it is always easy to ask and find what I need. There is a decent amount of parking around the store, and they have decent hours to accommodate weekends or trips after work.

Upon first entering Ren's pet store I immediately noticed a professional-looking store were not a lot of gimmickry was being sold and the staff are all very knowledgeable about the products they are selling. This is not one of your " run of the mill pet stores" I feel I could buy trusted products that have been tested and used by the employees with the highest recommendations. If you truly love your pet you want the best for him or her ? So why not buy from the best ?

There were 2 very lovely girls, Rowan and Mitchell, that were by themselves in this busy Sunday but they we still greeting everyone with a smile in there voice and getting everything to the best of their ability. I came to pick up an order of 5 items and even though they were busy they were able to help everyone of us that was waiting to pick up their things. Awful experiences here. Terrible reaction to lockdowns, awful website and unaccomodating customer service to pick up the slack. Always confused by the answers I get from staff, non-functional website that is slow, cumbersome to navigate and often conflicts with what the staff are saying. Constant supply chain issues. If you have an extra 45 minutes and want to be frustrated go to this Ren's. If you desire clean and efficient, complimentary service steer clear. Just because we're all animal lovers here doesn't mean you should get a pass on shoddy service. ????????????

I’ve been here a few times, and each time I’ve had a very rude cashier. I was unsure of the rules regarding a coupon and she got upset for no reason. She also just has a general rudeness to her. Never says have a good day or thank you and responded to small things with a rude “Ok”. Not sure of her name and I don’t want to post that publically anyways.The staff throughout the store are very kind and helpful, but just not the cashiers.

I visited the Burlington store and they had a great selection of quality dog food, and some puzzle toys I had never seen! I was there quite a while looking at all of the foods and ingredients (I have a picky eater, lol) and when I asked for opinions the staff were very helpful and told me what others thought of certain foods... they also recommended trial size food pkgs... I didn't even notice them and was exactly what I needed to try!

I have NEVER been treated so rudely by staff at ANY retailer! I spontaneously stopped by the store because my usual store was temporarily out of a product I needed. When I tried to ask the clerk if Ren's even carried the product, she berated me, telling me that she could only take orders over the phone. And then pointed out to me that "This is covid." ... ... Covid is certainly no excuse for her incredibly rude behaviour. No wonder I shop elsewhere. My advice: If you prefer to be treated politely, I suggest that you switch stores!

Some of the most helpful staff at any pet store! It's the only place in town that sells extra-large bags and boxes of quality hay, which I find invaluable as a rabbit-owner. An employee named Sara has gone out of her way many times to help me, even picking up product from another Ren's location when they were out of stock of the hay I needed. Ren's also has the best return policy on their pet food, so I trust this store more than any other for my pet's diet.

This store was great before COVID. Now that Covid is here their workers are looking for every way not to help their customers. I call to place an order but they told me it would be a 2-3 day wait for my dogs food if I place order over phone for curbside. But funny thing is pet stores don’t have to operate curbside, they are considered essential. If you are reading this I recommend going to bone and biscuit it’s just on Dundas and Walkers line. Great customer service and they allow walk in customers (the owner made sure to call by law to confirm they can operate for in store shopping) I will not being shopping at Rens anymore. Maybe next time they won’t tell their customers it will be a three day wait for their puppy’s food.

They don't update inventory so you can order but may not get it. Ordered this morning, they apologized and said they updated inventory, Ancaster shows no inventory Burlington still shows inventory, ordered from petsmart. Ren's phone is always busy. Email and checkout also lacking.

The person who was doing cash greeted us on our way in and when she was done, she asked us if we needed help. I did not see a lot of staff but whoever was there was very efficient. They have a better selection of the Royal Canin line. I like how they have a loyalty program on the dog food, you buy 12 and the 13 is free...or maybe the 12th is free? The important thing is you get $80 worth of dog food free. It was the first time going into a Ren's pet depot and certainly would not be the last.

The employees are awesome! Their good with recommendations and the store is great. Very nice and efficient. The only problem I had was with what I found out from a customer is a manager of the store, younger girl don't know her name but is aggressive with customers. Walked out of my car and had her screaming customers names in my face making me jump. other customers were appalled by this behavior not just me. It's impolite and unnecessary especially during covid. You don't need to scream at people like their just a number you shouldn't be a manager if that's what you think of people. Very rude! I would be more willing to talk to an owner about it I have no problem with that aggressive behavior should not be permitted towards customers. Otherwise good experience thanks!

A great place for your pet food and supplies including accessory items and toys. The Ren's Pet Depot in Oakville has been around for decades and they must be doing something right to have gained the trust of many pet owners in the GTA and now beyond. Staff are friendly, well trained and glad to assist. When I needed to replace a Kong Wubba Ren's is the place I thought of first. Loyalty program available for customers, nothing new there, conveniently located in central Burlington west of Guelph, south of QEW.

I ordered product on-line. For some reason it went to another location, though I chose Burlington location when ordering it. When I was at the store for pickup I called the store and the girl I was talking to told me that I have to go to Waterdown. I told her that I am in front of the Burlington store already but she continued telling me that I made a mistake and I have to re-order it online to this store. When I was trying to explain her that I was absolutely sure that I chose Burlington location, not Waterdown and it was a mistake of the website she did not want to listen to my explanation, interrupted me saying I am yelling at he (and I was not) and hang on on me. I called again and another representative helped me, cancelled the wrong order and sold me the product I needed. Seriously??!!! Was it that difficult for the first girl to do???!!! Very bad experience! Somebody should teach this young girl how to treat long term customers. I won't be going to this location again!

I love Ren's! Best pet store. The staff are excellent and very helpful to me as a first time dog owner. They really helped me find the best food for my puppy due to her allergy to chicken. Today another customer walked in without a mask. The staff handled her so well as I was annoyed because she scared my dog with her behaviour. Excellent selection of products to meet your pets needs.

Worst location i've been at. No please or thank you they talk (at) you very RUDE. The entire store is miserable. Specially during covid a little civility goes along way. The location disappoints. I buy $400 a month in food which i will be placing with Amazon from now on. I suggest you do the same.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff and neatly organised store. This is a big store compared to the Pet Smarts I've been to. You get a lot of choices. Excellent customer service and very professional and pleasant staff. A good loyalty program that saves you $5 right off the bat when you sign up, and you get a $10 card for your next visit.
