Hands down the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. Great value for the money. The batter was light and non greasy. The homemade tartar sauce was incredible. Can't wait to go back again.

This one is truly hidden gem! Their food is amazingly tasty. Caesar salad, as unassuming as one could be, had nice croutons, generous shred of good cheese and absolutely delicious dressing - a but tangy and garlicky and with pronounced kick. The fish I had was an Alaskan Whale Halibut. It had perfect golden crust, not too hard, not too cushy. Fish was nicely fried, flaky but not falling apart. Fries also were freshly cut and fried to perfection. Overall, if you are after some good ole fish n' chips, this place is for you!

Ordered takeout, all pieces of fish were overcooked to the point of being inedible. My fries and appetizer got cooked in the same oil as the fish, because it all smelt/tasted like fish even though it was in different boxes. Over a $50 order and I couldnt eat even half of it. I was going to call and complain but I just think ill stay away from this place. I usually go to Union Jack, they are head and shoulders above places like this.

I visit Caz's about once every 3-4 months. They are friendly, have your order (take out) ready when they say it will be and the food is always hot and delicious. Great fish and scallops and tasty fries in big portions. Not cheap, but a good value.

March 8 2021. Great fish and chips but the lady at the cash desk was thoroughly disappointing. We ordered 2 dishes but she did not keep any napkins or cutlery inside. She asked me if I wanted spicy sauce and I said yes but inspite of that she did not put any. Also she only put one tartar sauce for the entire order!!! Good food can only be spoilt by terrible service. Very disappointing. I had to ask her 3 times if dine is allowed to get a decent answer. I would be very vary to dine in when things open up!!!!! Word of advice thoroughly check your order as there is bound to be a screw ups. Oh I forgot to mention that she was very rude to my son who went asking for a menu. Why would you retain a staff like this. I have seen another review which had a similar complaint.

Used to go to caz's all the time and loved it , went recently for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic and it was nothing like it used to be. Fish was super over cooked. Fries were soggy and the portions were way smaller then they used to be.

Incredible! When l ordered the traditional fish and chips l couldn’t believe the portion l was served. Crispy batter on the outside surrounds white flaky fish inside. Served with a mound of crispy fries from a very friendly staff. Ample parking available in this mall. Highly recommend this location.

This place is exceptionally good. I came across this place accidentally but it was the best thing ever. Have been to Caz's fairly regular but noticed portions we use to get on a dinner size plate is now served on a salad size plate. Portions are noticably smaller and the fries were not good - the fish itself is served hot and is still delicious.

My wife and I used to go to the now closed Meadowvale location...which was awesome. We recently moved to the area and found Caz's here too. It brought back a bunch of memories for us and the food was every bit as good as we remember. Easily 5 stars. The Fish and Chips were really, really good.

Terrible. Ordered 4 days ago for today and told 5:30 pick up. When arrived line up very long and some people had pick ups for 4:15 and still not in store. Others just got in line to order and were in same position as everyone else. Why did you not have a line up for people who pre ordered? We are regulars here and very disappointed. This will not be forgotten

Visited the Burlington location tonight and not a great experience. We asked the waitress if the “Caz’s Best” fish n chips was in fact halibut. She told us that yes it was. When it came out we were disappointed by the wet mushy fish that we received. Not flaky like the halibut we are used to from other great fish n chip places. When we told the waitress, she said that they used a smaller halibut fish for their filets. The owner wouldn’t even come out to discuss our complaint because they apparently don’t speak English. Just a cautionary review for anyone who loves Halibut and chips. Don’t get the “Caz’s Best”. You need to order the Alaskan Whale Halibut which costs more but is apparently what we were expecting. Just wished they would have told us this when we asked about it!

I have always enjoyed the fish n chips but the last few times have been disappointing Went there on a thursday around 4pm. service was fast. Not sure if there has been a recipe change, old oil used or what but the fish was watery and chips greasy. I couldn't finish the meal and didn't feel very well after eating. I see others have given good reviews and for the most part this place is amazing and excellent service....the food i must give a thumbs down for now.

I chose Caz's because of the great reviews. I've had take out twice. While the batter is good , everything else was disappointing. The portions are tiny and the fish did not taste fresh and was dry The coleslaw is too heavy with Mayonnaise I dont understand the higher ratings this place received. I will return to Halibut House in Hamilton.

Have not been to Caz’s in a few years. Have been having a lot of fish and chips this summer around Southern Ontario. Though I should have Caz’s again as it is just up the street from me. Fries were fantastic, however I can’t say the the same for the fish. Had a large order of the Caz’s Famous Fish and Chip. The fish and batter was tough and hard to cut through, as well as dry with not much flavor. Very disappointing as I have always enjoyed Caz’s in the past.

This is the best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. The breading is so crisp and moist. I’m excited to visit this restaurant again for the best meal I’ve had since coming home from prison.

While the food was ok, we had an issue with the employee at the cash. My wife is severely hearing impaired and normally reads lips. As you can imagine, life with COVID and masks is terribly stressful for her trying to understand people. She went in to place an order and couldn’t understand the woman taking the order. She has an app on her phone that translates speech to text, so she tried to use it to understand the woman. This woman very rudely turned away from the phone so that it could not pick up her voice. The whole interaction was hard on my wife and reduced her to tears. Luckily another customer behind her assisted her. I hope this staff person ends up with a disability of some sort one day. Maybe then she will be more understanding of the challenges persons with disabilities face. We will never set food in this restaurant ever again.

We normally love coming to caz's but tonight the waitress with the mole on her cheek sorry dont know her name was awful waited for our drinks never came had to get up and tell her our food was on the counter. Absolute worst server. All the other waitress we love this one needs to go. Sitting socializing with friends not a way to impress me that's for sure

November 18 2017...group of four for dinner...booth seats have seen better days as they show wear...cracked and peeling vinyl. The food is OK. ..I had the seafood bowl. Shrimp came with the tail attached so a huge disappointment. The men's bathroom is disgusting with the urinal looking like it hasnt been cleaned properly in a long time. I'd rather choose Thistle than this place. Servers were nice but not incredibly attentive to empty drinks. Pass on this.

Wife and myself went for lunch, food was OK, menus falling apart and dirty, ripped seats in restaurant, and the rudest server I have experienced in a long time. (She was not tipped because of bad service, and decided to yell at my wife on the way out)
