I needed CBD oil and was happy to find that this local store had it and that I didn't have to drive to downtown Hamilton. The price was a bit steep but the staff was VERY VERY knowledgeable and helped answer my questions and made very useful suggestions.

I have been shopping at Bones Pet Boutique for more than 10 years. They have a great variety of raw pet food, treats and supplies. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and provide friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended to all dog ???? and cat???? owners out there!

This is the second time I have visited this store leaving disappointed in the customer services, client approach and lack of pet friendly atmosphere. Firstly, the woman who met me at the door, didn't even glance at my dog whom I brought into the store- she didn't acknowledge her, pet her, ask her name or offer her a treat. I am not your customer, my dog is. I find it discouraging a business tailored for dogs has employees that doesn't make my pet feel welcome. Secondly, the employee was short, rude, quick to lead me to where she thought I needed to be without asking me any questions about my dog's current diet, or her needs. I felt ushered to buy what I needed and get out. She was not friendly- this is yet another reason I will not be returning. I am educated in my dog's health and needs. I felt pressured to change what I do for her, and like a nuisance for entering the store. I will not be returning here nor will I recommend your store to anyone. There is another raw pet food store in Burlington, Back to the Bone, who has friendly staff and owners, welcome my dog with open arms, and are ALWAYS willing to have conversation about my dogs needs.

I drive over an hour to come to Bones because they have the best quality of dog food there is! My dogs won't eat the raw food the other stores carry. Plus Bones is so knowledgeable. I ask questions and learn so much from them. Thank you Bones!!

I occasionally purchase raw food from here due to close proximity to my house. Since the pandemic, all the way to stage 3, the store refuses the except cash. This is the only place I have encountered that gets away with it. I don't understand. It's a huge inconvenience and discrimination in my honest opinion.

I have to say that this has been my go to store for my raw dog food for over 10 years and I would highly recommend it. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. They've given me great advise and info that has really helped my English Mastiff. This is professional business with skillful staff and excellent service.

I dont know how Bones has such a low rating. Every time iv visited Bones they have exceptionally been helpful from day one. They have a huge selection of food and the beginning of the month discount is a nice bonus. It is because they are so knowledgeable that we made the switch to raw and we have not looked back. Would definitely recommend you to visit this store, thank you Bones!

They deserve more positive reviews, I've only been to this location twice and both times have been positive. The first time I told one of the women present that I hadn't been to the store before and she walked me through a dozen or so of the products that I might not have tried even though I had been feeding my dog raw for a little over a year and a half. After that I told her my dogs story, history of abuse and showed a few before / after pictures which shocked the two women but the after pictures were enough to settle them. ---- The next time I went was right after Labor Day which was the 8th of the month, this fell one day after their sale and even though I didn't request it and had a rather large $250 order the woman present told me she was feeling generous and even though it cost her money gave me the 10% off and said I shouldn't plan on it happening again and told me to have a good day. That's good customer service, she cost the company she works for (perhaps owns?) money but provided an exceptional level of customer service which earned her a future longtime customer.

Prices are higher than what I am used to paying for the Tollden Farms brand and the raw meaty bones. The woman at the desk was very helpful and friendly. There are a lot of raw food options. Some great prices on some supplements... I would go to Goodness me or any grocery store for the coconut oil though as it is way overpriced in pet stores.

I recently moved to Burlington and was looking for a raw pet food store that carried Tollden Farms and Big Box Dinners. Compared to what I had in Perterborough, the selection at Bones is the largest I have ever seen. Upon visiting the store for the first time, the staff quickly understood what I needed and they even gave me 2 plastic containers for free to thaw and use to serve the frozen food.....nice touch "Bones". I was also glad to hear that between the 1st and 7th day of each month, I will get 10% off which will allow me to bulk up each month and save some good money. The service and raw pet food product selection is the best I have seen anywhere.

Was not really pleased with my experience. I had never been here before and I did not find that the employee there was knowledgeable, they just kept pointing me to pamphlets. I also had my shy dog with me, I let the man know that she was fearful of men yet he continued to invade her space and mine more than once causing her to shuffle away in fear. I bought a few things that I needed but I won’t be back.

I travel from Caledon to Burlington to buy my dog food for a month. I love the store and have been purchasing my boxers food there since she was born as long as they have been in business. My last visit to the store will be my last visit. Although I have experienced an air of indifference from very early on it has been increasingly more difficult to swallow the now rude costumer service. I have never experienced this in any other business. Sure you can have an off day but the owners are not even pleasant. Ever. There is one lady who is friendly and I always hope she will be at the store. I would rate no stars if it were an option. Wow still can't believe how rude the owner was on Sat April 30th ....

I've been going here for close to two years now, and the customer service has always been so distressingly bad that they need to know about it. I spend around $250-$300 each month on food and bones but neither lady has ever taken the time to learn my name as they ask me what it is every time I checkout. The impression they give is that they don't care because it is the norm to walk in and not be greeted or get a response when you say "hello". The other day after spending $70 on food, I told the blonde haired lady at the counter to "have a nice weekend" and she didn't even look up or respond. She just stapled her receipt. Part of me thinks they are both robots programmed without the ability to feel. Bottom line - if I'm going to spend this much regularly at their store, learn my name after two years, and if your approach to customer service is to be extremely unwelcoming, at least wear a clown nose while you do it so it's funny. I'll be taking my business to Chews Raw Pet Food in Waterdown moving forward.

This review is reflective of many customers experiences I have read. I'd rate this business a 0 if possible. I walked into the store hoping to have some guidance on choosing a raw meaty bone for my dog that I had with me. 1) The lady did not greet myself OR my senior dog- It gave me the impression she doesn't even like animals 2) She was snappy at me when I asked where to find certain items. There is an AMAZING raw pet food store in Burlington that I have given my business to on Walkers Line. I will not spend a cent more at this store.

We have been spending $200 a month at Bones for at least 5 years, our family loathes the monthly trip. My wife was 9 months pregnant and they would not help her load the car. Terrible customer service. The only reason we sourced our raw food from this store is the proximity to our house. We found a new raw dog food source, thank god i do not have to go to Bones any longer.

If I could rate even lower than 1 star, I would have. The woman at the counter is so so so condescending and so unprofessional and has no courtesy at all. Snob snob snob! I used to live in Burlington in 2009 and used to go to Bones Pet Boutique because I decided to feed raw and there was a limited selection of places to shop for raw dog food. My dog is a breed that has A LOT of hair. LOTS, very thick hair and very fluffy. My dog was a perfect weight and in excellent condition (as my vet said) and as I could see. The female there (I believe she is part owner) said that my dog was fat and that he should have only 1/4 of a lb of food. I told her that my vet said he is perfect weight and condition. She said that he was just trying not to offend me, that "they do that". Ridiculousness! I dreaded every time I would have to go in there to get raw food for my dog because she was so rude and condescending. Anyway, after a while, I found another place in Oakville and started shopping there instead. However, a couple times, I had ran out of raw and had to run up the street to Bones Pet Boutique to get a little bit. I hated it. If I asked a question about the treats they had like: Is this okay for small dogs? (it was Buffalo Tendon and I never had that). She would look at me like I was stupid and mumble something. Haha it is just laughable that a business owner would be so rude to the people paying her living wages. Yes, the customer is the one that supports your life. It's our money that gives you income... duh. Anyway, THANKFULLY I found another raw food store in Burlington that gives FANTASTIC service. I won't mention it here because this review is not about them, but I had to give a review about how horrible the service is at Bones Pet Boutique. I never step foot in that store. Yuck!! When you read this Bones Pet Boutique, LEARN TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS BETTER. Customer service is of the utmost importance!!!

First visited this store as my rescued dog had developed seizures and as I did extensive research, I became aware of raw feeding. I stopped into the store with an open mind and very anxious to learn how to help my poor dog. From the first question I put to her, the owner was extremely condescending and made me feel that I had caused the seizures by not feeding raw in the first place. I left the store determined not to let her put me off pursuing information about raw feeding, but equally determined never to set foot back in her store! (fall 2013) Luckily I was introduced to Dan and Donna at BACK TO THE BONE - best people and best store anywhere! (I did pop in to Bones one more time with my daughter as we were driving by; left without buying anything and my daughter commenting on how rude the owner was - nothing had changed. (fall 2015)

I have been using this place for the last year, everything was going well and then all of a sudden I met one of the owners, she was blonde lady with short hair. Without a doubt she has repeatedly given me the worst customer service I have encountered and it made me take my business elsewhere. Its really unfortunate, everyone loses in the end. I have to drive out of my way to get my food from somewhere else now, but I will not support a business that treats customers in that matter. Buyer beware.

The woman working was extremely rude and condescending. I felt unwelcome in the store, and it was an uncomfortable experience. I went in to get some treats for my dog. I ended up just buying the one treat I had in my hand after speaking to the woman, because she was so rude, I decided not to buy anything else. I won't be returning.
