I first ordered take-out at Wasana's and was very impressed with the taste and flavors of the food. The restaurant is owned and operated by very friendly Thai family who bring traditional Thai recipes to Brooks. Try the red or green curry Chicken, very delicious. Always a hit.

Awesome little place for authentic Thai food! The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that dissuade you! We almost left thinking it was shut down. Had a tasty and healthy meal here. Mom and pop restaurant, very friendly and accommodating. Small restaurant that is literally over the tracks but well worth the extra 5 minute drive. Real food in comparison with high fat, fried typical roadhouse fare. Not to be missed when in Brooks!

I've been to many Thai restaurants before, but this husband and wife operated location is by far one of the best, if not the best, place I've been to for Thai food. It's definitely pricier than most other places, but that's because the quality of the food is so good. The couple buys 100% organic ingredients, which they use to cook the cleanest tasting Thai food I've ever had. The portions are perfect in size and flavour, but be warned, it can be spicier than you may be able to handle. If I could, I'd rate this place six stars out of five, purely because my experience was beyond amazing. If you can, you should stop by and try them out - you will not be sorry.

A truly outstanding and authentic Thai restaurant tucked away in the quiet prairie town of Brooks. This is not to be missed if you are fond of either Thai cuisine or Thai culture. I love both and never miss a chance to enjoy them here. The food is always excellent and the service is personable and genuinely caring. Just like in Thailand they insist on fresh ingredients. Beware however, if they get to know you and you ask for your food prepared with an authentic amount chiles, you want to be ready for it. This is a treat not to be missed!!!!

The best service I have ever received in a Thai restaurant. It may not look very noticeable from the outside, but the food and attentive service of the owners is why people come here. The price is only slightly above average, but that's mainly because the owners purchase bring their (all organic) ingredients over from Calgary, plus running a business in such a small town I would imagine is no easy feat. Luckily, the taste more than makes up for the price. If you're driving through Brooks, this place is definitely a good bet for tasty dinner and good conversation with the owner.

The Cam is very friendly / easy to talk to, remembers Patrons, and makes helpful suggestions to navigate the menu. The food is Thai / Chinese but isn't coated in batter and sauce. We like the curry as it uses coconut milk and they are willing to adjust the heat. The décor and dishes match the food & have been updated over the years.

My family and I found this gem of place while passing through Brooks. Flavourful, fresh food and a very friendly owner from Laos, his wife from Thailand. We enjoyed the food, colourful atmosphere, and speaking with our host so much that we had to go back on our return trip. Consider yourselves lucky if mangoes are in season because the mango sticky rice dessert is phenomenal.

We had not planned to go to Brooks, but it was getting late and didnt want to be disappointed by the food. For that reason I read all reviews from all restaurants, and am glad I did. This little restaurant away from down town Brooks was truly worth our trip. We are both lovers of Chinese and Indonesian food and they had a few things on their menu that was exactly what we liked. Deep fried little Spring rolls, Yellow curry and Deep fried rice with veggies. As desert we had Mango on rice. For me it was enough rice in the meal, but am fond of Mango. All over: the meal was delicious, the place was spotless, even the washrooms. And the manager was such a polite and soft spoken man. He listened to our wishes and explained to us when needed. Not pushy and always patient. It makes such a difference if you can relax and enjoy your meal without having the feeling they want you to leave or make room for the next customer. Without a map we would not have found it, but now we know where they are located, I am sure we will go back when we are in this area.

This is a must try if you are in Brooks. We were a group of 11 from Vancouver that was stopping in Brooks overnight after a day at the Dino Provincial Park. We had enough of burgers and fries and wanted something Asian and ethnic. Coming from Vancouver and having the opportunity to taste very good food, Wasana, was comparable to very good Thai food in Vancouver. The restaurant is owned and operated by Kam, his wife and son. Kam is an awesome host and spent time talking to us and making sure we had enough to eat. The wife is from Thailand and cooks truly authentic dishes. We had the Tom Yum soup, Basil Beef, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Green Curry, sweet and sour chicken, bacon fried rice and Papaya Salad. All were super tasty and would highly recommend to anyone wanting an authentic Thai experience!

I must truly say, this restaurant should get the award for customer service when it comes to food and service. Mr. Kham and his team are truly awesome. I ordered a curry fish and rice today, and was taken back, when they brought out my dish. I realized that, the sauce only had two pieces of fish in it. I then asked Mr. Kham about it, and he was so polite and sweet, and took his time to explain how expensive it is to import produce from Calgary and surrounding areas. He went above and beyond to see to it that, I was a happy customer before leaving his restaurant! Mr. Kham, you made my day!!
