One word......DISCUSTING. This location is stuck in the 80s. There's shingles lose ready to fall in the drive thru. Inside is dirty and old. Their grease trap smells like rotten fish and the bathrooms are unusable. They never have anything to drink besides pop. The health board needs to be contacted.

Worst managed place I’ve ever been to. Their open hours are not what’s displayed on google, no curb side pick up or take out options available for people with a vehicle too large to go through the drive thru or no vehicle. Walking through the drive though at 9:40 the lady told me they closed till so they couldn’t process my payment.. is that good business?

the foods ok but why would they cut the cheese up for the burgers. a few months ago i went to this mcdonalds and i noticed that the cheese was cut up. and now i go to the mcdonalds a few days ago and now the cheese is cut up into quarters? at this point you shouldn't even put any cheese in the fish fillet burger. the food is good in general and stuff, but this is unacceptable.

Not sure if it was just the time of year but I couldn't believe the amount of black flies in the restaurant (walking all over the digital display signs behind the counter, on the tables, etc.) yuck! The food was the typical McD food, no surprise there, but I could hardly understand the gal behind the counter taking my order as I her accent was quite strong. She had to repeat almost everything she said to me twice. We were just passing thru so obviously won't be there again.

Haven’t been to a fast food joint for some time as the food is terrible and prices even worse. Decided to try the spicy chicken they are advertising lately. Got home to find it a disgusting mess. The patty barely covered the bun, ( the commercial shows the patty bigger than the bun and 3 times thicker than the real thing), most of the “sandwich” was filled with lettuce. Will never visit a fast food “restaurant”, and I use that term very loosely”, again. My wallet and my overall health deserves better anyway.

Absolutely the worst visit I have had at this McDonald's. It took 30 minutes from when I started to order breakfast until I had sat down with it. I ordered and had items from the lunch menu 2 minutes after the breakfast order was completed. The crew chief or leader or whatever was so flustered that I am not sure they knew what was going on. If it wasn't for the play place I would never go back again.

It is a hit and miss with every visit. Best time to go would be from 7am to 3pm as this seems to be when they have the most reliable staff working. The dinner shift is brutal, full of staff who are rude and incompetent, food quality takes a serious dive during dinner time as well.

Since I was staying next door at the hotel, I decided to walk to McDonalds this morning for a coffee. It was incredible. The sheer number of flies infesting the food preparation area were immeasurable. Management has hung two fly strips but they've become saturated with flies. One of the most repulsive eating establishments I've ever seen. This restaurant has a fly problem and probably has maggots.

Picture this.. its 33 degrees outside... we wait in line for 15 minutes only to be told they have no ice cream. Hey mcdonalds.. how bout a sign when you come in? Also, the kiosks get served 1st, there is no "order" as to who came in 1st. While I was waiting for 15 minutes, 5 young people came in and were all served before the line up because they used the kiosk, which were not working when I arrived. Come on... you can do better than this!!! Will never go back ????

This McDonald's is OLD, and sometimes not very well maintained. There's been a big, awful pothole at the very entrance to the drive-through for YEARS, and if you hit it, it could potentially damage your car. Be careful! (The folks working there are great, though! Guess they could be incentive to go in to the restaurant to see them, and avoid the Pothole of Doom altogether that way)

It's McDonald's, so everyone knows what it taste like. What this MacDonald's suffers from is that there is no other Fast Food spot within a couple kms of the Corner Brook Plaza, the mall next door. I've often said that you could open a 2nd MacDonald's (or preferably another Fast Food chain) in the same parking lot and they'd both do good business. So that means meal times are going to be busy here and there will be a wait and maybe no place to sit. It has gotten better the past few years (a few years back it didn't matter when you walked in, you were bound to have a 20+ minute wait for food). The staff are good though and friendly (another nice change from a few years back). The other thing that drops my review down to 2 stars is the joke of a kids play room. It's literally 2 touch screens playing a few games that feel like they were created back in the 90s. Not sufficient considering how busy this place can get and that it's the only MacDonald's in Corner Brook.

It was literally drenched in sauce and the wrap was completely ripped on the back so it was a total mess and unappetizing. We are snowbirds travelling back to Canada from Arizona. We often stop at McDonalds in the mornings and order the same thing: egg and sausage, or bacon, McMuffins and 2 small coffees. We've had a bad track record with the one in Brooks. An order for two people should be easy enough to assemble - correctly - and be delivered at the second window without needing to park. This happened the last 5 times. (The coffee is the reason my wife keeps us coming back, so it must be good.) On the most recent visit, we ordered bagel belt meals and needed to wait as they did not have a batch of hashbrowns ready. While waiting in the overflow for a long while, a staffer came out to let us know they were out of multi grain bagels as well. They left for 5 min and came back with the right order & some apology apple pies. On the most notable visit, an employee came to our vehicle with the wrong order, and then came back & lied to us about what they were delivering just so they wouldn't have to walk back in again get the right coffee. The drive through also backed up with people waiting to park as all of the waiting spaces were full.

I awarded 1 point because they support Android Pay and let you customize your burgers. It's a joke of a business, let alone a fast-food "restaurant," yet it's always busy! The food is cheap, yes, but you get 0 nutritional content and the service leaves much to be desired. I like the idea of being able to order without waiting in line or trying to get people to understand my order, but the actual systems have touch screens almost as bad as the ones at Canadian Tire. So I always end up going to counter anyways. It's a struggle.

This was one busy place at 10 pm. I got a fresh cup of decaf coffee. It was weak. They don't give you to-go cream but add it from a machine and it's a lot. So 1 or 2 shots at the most is enough. I complained about my weak coffee and they made a fresh pot.

Pretty typical McDonalds. Service is great though. Because we don’t speak French, we tried using the self ordering system there but the printer doesn’t work (apparently a known problem but why don’t they fix it?). We were pleasantly surprised when we found out that most people who work there speak English very well. The line was very big, so we went to find a table that could sit all of us and as we were doing that, one of the employees brought our order to us. This was an amazing gesture and a sign that McDonald’s is focusing on customer service.

This place has a terrible service, and not clean. We ordered 4 McFlurry and a Coffee, it took more than 20m to get it. The workers can be heard yelling at each other. The seats were also very dirty.

I'm pretty sure this McDonald's makes a bunch of fries and re-fries them when they get ordered. Same with chicken nuggets. Food never seems fresh but is hot. They're not as fast as most either. They're currently renovating so maybe they'll pull up their socks afterward.

The back door to the inside nearly knocked me off my feet. The bathroom/every door has no automatic door button. For a place directed at seniors, it's not disability friendly. Also, the highchair was not clean and didn't have the usual cover on it with a bib or anything. They are so cheap they change extra for sauces and their fries are never cooked consistently. The staff is so so and I always get an unwelcome feeling from here.

I tried again tonight and it took is 14 minutes!!! I counted! I even took a video and sent it to McDonald’s Head Office. I'm giving it a 4 star because the owner of these local branches came in and yelled at all the workers for the food being too slow to come out. I don't think this was fair as they were doing an excellent job. How can I give anything less than 5 stars? It's McDonald's! you should know what to expect from a chain like this. This McDonald's has one of the nicest views I've ever experienced from a fast food joint. As for the self serve . It is what it is. I have lived in markets that had it earlier than this location and they are all the same. Not a bad setup especially for the picky . Make sure your order is 100% before ordering . However Avoid the kiosk farthest from the fountain drink machine if you plan on paying with cash . Rarely ever prints a receipt. Overall one of the best McDonald's I've been to and ive been to them all over the world.

Well, if nothing else, they are consistent - fries are rarely fresh and often cold and chewy, and I don't even recall the last time my sandwich was hot, or even warm for that matter. But at least my order has always been correct, and they are really good at making up for the sub par food with meal vouchers or coupons. Its easier to other than ever before with the mobile app, but their lack of offers is disappointing - rarely any BOGO or even 2 can Dine offers anymore - just dollar drink days, dollar cones, and 7th free fries/coffee

Then after waiting a good 20 minutes inside for a quick order (a couple mcdoubles, fries and cokes) I get to the truck and double check everything... As you walk up to this McDs it smells like bad beef not normal cooking burgers. Language barriers immediately present an issue, so expect a wrong order. This place has the most run down bathroom, with one stall that has a door that wont even stay closed, and hangs on barely with one hinge. My order was never made, my number was just removed from the "In Progress" list. I had already waited 25+ minutes so I just left rather than even attempt to waste more of my time. Try somewhere else first.

Service is alright. Manager always likes to fight about your receipt if theres something wrong with your order. I ordered 2 Ranch Chicken Snack Wraps and there was no ranch dressing in both wraps, went up to the counter, manager had a stink, and told me she needed to see them first. So I brought both up, showed her, she had another stink. Didnt coach or do anything to improve it, just gave me two cups filled with dressing to put on myself.

I can’t even give one star but have to so I can write my experience. Not only does it start with improper staff training, but I’ve been documenting every visit. Always something wrong. To have a manger take my name and number down then specifically appologize and say” I’ll make it right” which is what they are trained to say. But to take my information and say the store manager/owner will be in contact tomorrow... we’ll im still waiting 48 hours later.... maybe this store was one to many for them to take on. To have something wrong every time shows improper training big time? Wasn’t there a news article stating they had twelve or so staff and after renovations they would increase that number by a big number of staff. Well that’s happens but clearly not trained..... my information is in the offices let’s see how long it takes now with a public post instead of it linguring in their store only.

I've been to a few dozen McDonalds, from Victoria to Kingston, and this is easily the worst one I've been to. It's so bad I haven't been back for over two years. Nearly every single time I've gone through the drive-thru something is missing or something is wrong with the order. I remember when this particular Mcd's opened decades ago, it hasn't been a good experience for over 30 years. The problem seems to be the young people they hire couldn't care less about doing a good job and seem to be far more concerned with gossip and what they are going to be doing on the weekend. I really feel sorry for the older workers who have to deal with these petulant children.

2 weeks ago we visited your store in corner brook. I put my order in I waited about 15 min no order.i noticed other customers getting served so I decided to go and ask why wasn't getting my order.the guy at the counter asked what did you order.i replied you has the order you should know.after another ten minutes I finally got our order.terrible.if this was Swiss chalet or Harvey's we would have got our money back.

Was great finding low prices then go to cash out and was rushed thru paying still bagging and used one of four bags we were charged for. Stupid me forgot our recycled bags wont forget again. Very rude approach of cashier!
