Excellent food ! We went with a wedding party group of 12. We did wait about 1hr for our food. They had a good many people in there. However, the staff was excellent and kept our drinks filled and fresh warm bread. This is the second time we've been and have enjoyed it. I got the breaded chicken breast, stuffed with artichoke and provolone, topped with a creamy red pepper sauce. Hubby got the chicken parmesan and our friend got the prime rib with Yorkshire pudding.

What an amazing dinner we had here at The Mill. We sat in a cozy room overlooking the stream. The waiter informed us of the specials which all sounded amazing. We had the linguine with fresh, tastefully season scallops and fresh veggies cooked perfectly with a light sauce of lemon, olive oil and garlic. Our other meal was an aged steak that was perfectly cooked,covered with yummy onion straws, accompanied with roasted potatoes and fresh veggies. The homemade lemon cheesecake was a perfect ending to an amazing dinner.

The food is delicious and they have a vast selection to choose from. Their portions are very generous as well. Try the baked brie for an appitizer, you won't be disappointed. The staff is so accommodating and efficient which made our night feel like a celebration from start to end. We loved and will be back again soon!

This was our first time at The Mill Restaurant and we loved it. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the food was superb. We were impressed with the variety on the menu as well as the days specials..lots to choose from. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and always refilling our water glasses, unbeknownst to us we stayed talking with our friends until after closing and she didn't let us know they were closing until after we asked. The building is nice. The staff was great. The food... Meh. I expected more, especially based on the price. The steak was decent, but nothing special. The vegetables while cooked well were bland. The caesar salad was decent. It deserves a half star more, but it's definitely not a 4 star.

Look, I'm in the restaurant industry so I'm really hard to impress. But The Mill in Brockville? What a gem of a place! My wife, Melissa, and I went for dinner there this evening. Reservation was handled properly and we were greeted warmly. The ambience was calming. The owner, (never got her name, sadly), came over and chatted with us for a while. Very nice lady. Our server, Rachel, was professional, friendly, and efficient. Just a really nice person. Menu had just the right number of options and the wine list matched the menu perfectly. As for the food, let me put it like this. My wife described the food as being the best we've had since our wedding dinner at the 3-star AG Cuisine in Niagara Falls. I have to agree. Fabulous pasta, great steak, best calamari we could remember having. A wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back!

Favourite restaurant in Brockville. Great food; lovely ambience; good service. It can get busy on some night with longer waits, but it's that kind of place: food made to order, so a good opportunity to relax and sip some wine. This has become our "go to" place for special occasions. The steak house is fabulous, as well; being a steak lover, I almost prefer it!

Classy Italian restaurant located at 123 Water St W in Brockville On. Phoned ahead for reservations. Service was attentive evn though it was later in the evening. Food was excellant, cooked to perfection and made with fresh ingrediants, a good selection of wine is avilable.The waiter who attended to us was one of the nicest cordial gentleman, obviously knew his job very well.

Refined dining in a relaxed setting. Brockville's Mill Restaurant offered a fulsome menu, complemented by daily specials. Price-friendly, the food was excellent value for the price. It was hard to decide among the great choices, but we settled on a filet of sole coated in rice flour and cooked in butter. It was delicious. We were welcomed by a very friendly, very attentive server. A wonderful spot. Parking is on both sides of the building.

Unfortunately, I didn't the any pictures but the food was incredible. I have been here before. The Mill is known to be a higher end restaurant and for that reason we came here to celebrate my girlfriend getting a new job and my dad's birthday. We all got something different off the menu. Apps we started with was calamari, stuffed mushrooms and the escargot. I tried all of them and all tasted fantastic. I had the prime rib and I have to say it's prime rib. Does life get better than that? On a side note: The tables were spread out and you were not seated close to anyone in a covid world we live in now, this was a huge bonus. They may have lost a few tables for capacity... but I enjoyed the dining experience way more because you could only hear the conversation at your own table. I recommend the Mill to anyone looking for a great meal. It does come at a higher than average price point but you get what you pay for.

Accommodated very quickly with extremely pleasant service, sumptuous prime rib and tender melt in your mouth well presented veggies served with class and respect. Made reservations at the Mill to celebrate our tenth anniversary. It was a sunny Saturday, early evening, and we were shown to a cozy corner by a window, and ended up having one of the best dinners, server, and atmosphere ever. The food (appetizers, seafood, pasta) was delicious, the house red matched our meal to perfection, surrounding chatter was subdued and pleasant, and our server (Lesia), was attentive, knew when we were ready for the next course/ refill, etc., friendly, but not intrusive, and always ready with a smile! Early on she asked where we were from, I said Ottawa and we were in Brockville to celebrate our ten years together. What a surprise when after our meal she arrived with a plate with the words ‘Happy 10th Anniversary’ surrounding a dessert of sticky toffee pudding- a favourite of ours (Anne’s an expat Brit), on the house! We lost track of time and suddenly noticed that we were the only customers there, and staff were cleaning up, yet no one tried to hurry us out, and that only added to our overall great experience, evening, and anniversary. The service was top of the line in every way. Our party had several different items. The beef was cooked to perfection. The pasta dish was over the top. The two fish dishes were both over cooked and the portion was at a lunch level. The sauce over powered the fish. I had a group of friends go the next evening and the same details of the food preparation were apparent. The fish dishes need more attention.

Located in a quiet village on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, this cozy unassuming eatery is fantastic! Delicious homemade soups and salads to start and filling gourmet sandwiches or dinners to satisfy any appetite! Our Massena NY Garden Club enjoyed every minute! Our first time here, but we'll definitely be back! After moving into town last year, we had tried several of the local restaurants but hadn't yet made our way to The Mill until some friends invited us to join them for their anniversary. The place itself is quite nice, and the staff were very friendly. The menu had a good variety of options that all looked wonderful. I opted for escargot to start, followed by the lamb and both were fantastic. My wife had a shrimp appetizer, then a large beet salad with chicken and loved them both. Our friends were equally happy with their meals, and the wine list was quite good, so we all enjoyed a glass or two. Service was wonderful, efficient and friendly and we really enjoyed the evening. Highly recommended if you're looking for something a little more upscale here in Brockville!

This visit was for a private party so I will rate on that aspect. Private parties are held in the upper level which is not very friendly for people with disabilities, which I have. Luckily there is a restroom upstairs so that was very good! For private parties you get to choose from a set menu. It does have a nice selection and I chose the chicken dish which was very good. There was also a kids menu that the children could choose from. I did not see what selections were available but there were lots of children there and I didn't hear them complain. Because this private party was to celebrate a birthday we supplied and served a cake. The staff serving us for the most part very friendly and attentive and handled themselves very well. If I am in Brockville again I will have to try it again to see what it's like in the main restaurant!!

The Mill seems like the kind of place that's been around forever and has its fair share of regulars I'd imagine. Certainly not modern but more of a cozy classic type of vibe. The food was average but enjoyable, the real gem was the service. There were two servers working when we went and both were kind, helpful, and seemed like they really enjoyed being there.

I enjoyed my meal, reasonably priced Italian food, about 25$+ for a well prepared dish with a nice glass of wine. They had a flavourful Italian beer on tap as well. Friendly servers too.

Dinner was amazing. The appetizers were perfect. Portobello mushrooms was delicious. Our entrees weremouth wateringly delicious. Any our anniversary was celebrated with their awesome sticky pudding cake. Was a great date night thanks to the Mill.

The mill is well known among my family. My grandfather and his work crew normally going here just about every week for drinks and to catch up on the week and always loving it. A lot of memories were made for us here and its nice to know it hasn't changed much in that time - which why would it? It was spectacular back then and it's amazing now. My wife and I had our wedding 'reception' in the bar beneath the restaurant and they were oh so accommodating and the bartenders were all professional, quick and the drinks were great! The restaurant above also has some of the best food in town and the Mill as a whole is part of Brockville. You won't regret coming here for drinks, or a meal.

We had a family gathering including 10 family members. We had one server and she was awesome. She was very polished and did an amazing job. Our group ordered everything from Pasta to Steak to Lamb and for dessert Cheesecake to Tiramisu to Sticky Toffy Pudding. Not one signal complaint from anyone. For anyone who resides in Brockville or anyone just passing through looking for a decent place to eat, you have to eat at this establishment. Enjoy.
