The Butcher Shop is a MUST stop each time I visit Brockville. From summer BBQs to holiday meals, this shop has everything you need with a great selection of products and extras. Renting the BBQ spit was easy, and made summer BBQs extra special. Ricky and the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and care about their product and customers.

Awesome service. Always friendly. Fantastic selection of meats and knowledge about their products. Prices can be a little more than you will pay at a grocery store but you are receiving superior quality. That said, if you just need bacon go to the big guys, if you need a brisket or top sirloin.. the butcher shop inc is the place to be. Oh i didn't mention, they also have a sandwich bar and deli. With a small gluten free section.

Yesterday I purchased Bison from this shop, to give the people we are staying with the Alberta Bison experience. And although the taste was not to bad, the consistency was terrible. There is supposed to be no more than 15 to 20% fat content. This was not the case, it was more like 60 or 70% fat content. Whoever they are ordering from are ripping them off and in turn the the unsuspecting customers. I have been eating Bison for upwards of 15 years in Alberta and know good Bison. This was not good Bison, too much fat, grissle and other meat mixed in. I am not happy. I will not be returning to this butcher shop.

We stopped in and purchased a prime rib. I cannot remember a more perfect tasting, tender roast. A week later (still savouring the flavour),I had to sit down and take the time to to post my comment. Yorkshire pudding,turnip,mashed potatoes some Hot Horseradish and gravy. Drooling yet? Oh, and a glass of red wine.
