This is for takeout; maybe sit down service is better, but... After waiting 20 minutes to pick up my food (which I had been staring at for 15 minutes), I found out they forgot an entire meal. They then argued with me about it. I wanted a credit, but they refused and only offered a free replacement meal. Service was slow, and unfriendly. If it was busy, I could understand, but there were only 2 people ahead of me.

I typically have good service, but last visit was terrible. I am not sure if they were short staffed but she let us sit far too long throughout. She did not get what I wanted and the only reason I ordered a particular item was because of the way it is typically served. The waitress would not give the condiment requested. Finally one of the orders came out wrong. We pointed it out and were charged for the incorrect more expensive item despite pointing it out.

Decided to skip the cookin tonite and seen the specail Swiss chalet had on 2 meals for 15.99 fiqure id try ordered take out when got home smallist 1/4 chicken I have seen smaller than cornish hen it was the greasiest bird ever and so fatty the bun was rock hard oh well lesson learned not always a great deal

Their posted store hours are wrong, they do not close at 10pm they close at 9pm. Don't waste your time driving here at 9:15pm after working all day expecting to eat because Google said they close at 10pm. Because you'll go hungry.

Friendly service. It's an average swiss chalet. Food is good but not stellar, it's fairly standard fair. I enjoy coming here when I want food that I won't feel terrible after eating it. It's quick, fairly healthy, and tasty. Nice place for an affordable meal. Good portion sizes, great prices. I'm happy with it.

Today we had to wait for silverware before we could eat. We also had to ask twice for extra dipping sauce. The baked potato was supposed to come with sour cream and green onions but staff had to collect it separately from the kitchen. The half chicken dinner was of course delicious. The ladies washrooms did not have any hand soap. Luckily I carry hand sanitizer. They did however have a second garbage pale for paper towel that's used to open the doors so you don't have to touch the handles.

As a side note, Swiss Chalet has WW options listed on the menu that are just as tasty as their non-WW items. Will be going to this location again when we're driving through on our way to Ottawa.

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad was very disappointed that there was no bacon and very little parmesan cheese (should have been a side). When ordering take out it helps to have condiments,forks, and napkins. Was eating on the run as a passenger. For the cost of 14.99 plus tax it was unsatisfying have to do without and eating with my fingers.

Keep missing food from my orders, and when you bothered calling to ask, the attitude of the manager is like: whatever, things happen, what do you want for me…I want an apology, but nobody said one. Unfortunately this was not a great visit. We got seasoned fries that were awful. They were over cooked, old, cold and dried out. We also got bowl of broccoli soup that for $5.49 was extremely small and really had no flavor as it was watery. If the bowl (small) was that much I couldn't imagine the cup size for $4.99...anyways not having lunch there again!

In the past, it seemed the Swiss Chalet was slowly going downhill in every aspect. Until, very recently, they updated everything. The menu looks fantastic, the environment has changed significantly and the service is wonderful. A long-time favorite of many Brockville citizens.

Called back and they would only offer a gift card or credit. I did not accept as will no go back there. They finally sent fries. Takeout is usually quick, even when it's busy. The servers are attentive enough to customers and accommodate your requests. I have had various food but typically stick to the chicken. I am not a fan of the ribs- I find them undercooked and often pink when cutting them apart. The chicken is always flavorful and delicious. The salads for takeout taste fresh and are never soggy. I really enjoy the Parmesan fries over the regular ones as I find the regular fries to be quite dry and unappealing. I'm not a big fan of the new buns they have, however to each his own. I loved the shrimp and rice they have- the sauce is amazing and brings a tangy and savory flavor to the shrimp. Overall: quick for takeout. Often the food is pretty flavorful and enjoyable. Dining in is a pleasurable experience. Would definetly return again.

From start to finish it was terrible. Hostess was miserable. Tables and seating was dirty. Drinks came after the meal was served and that was having to ask 3 times. Salad was half the normal portion you're supposed to get and drowning in the salad dressing. Absolutely no cutlery so your food gets cold by the time they remember to bring it.

I visited Swiss Chalet along with family members including my three grandkids. I had the half chicken with a baked potato. The food quality was good and the service was fast considering we were a table of six. Because of covid, our server wore a mask and I felt safe with their cleaning procedures. As we were leaving, our server brought us a whole bunch of mini chocolate bars given that it was Halloween Eve.

One quick call to the store, and the super friendly owner was actually at my door in under 10 minutes with a brand new, correct, fresh order. We had crispy chicken dinner at around 4:30pm July 11,2018. The rolls were hard and dry, the crispy chicken looked and tasted like it had been in a warming draw for hours. The baked potato was not hot. We left most of it on the plate, a sure sign of very poor food and we declined a takeout container. In the past the take out has been good, but today, dine in was the worst ever. Not worth the 1 star at all.

A nice family-friendly restaurant, with a menu rich in items that would satisfy every taste. The portions are huge and very generous. we ordered last week...one delux burger with fries made into poutine,,,one quarter meals fries also poutine....and one half chicken festive meal...once it was delivered i seen that the festive meal had nothing that goes in it,,,no cramberries no stuffing...no chocolate...no scratch ticket...nothing...l call back and waited 20 mins + for someone to take my call..she asked if i wanted it now or a credit..i wanted it with my meal..so it came but there was still no stuffing and no sour cream and chives for my baked potato...i didnt call back although everyone said to...i ate my cold meal...was not impressed..we have swiss chalet alot ...not so sure anymore...dissappointed

"Kale" ceaser salad has a bit of kale thrown in it, otherwise it's a regular ceaser salad. Got take out with no knife/fork or butter. Lastly, take out menu has a picture of a drink with the combo so once I ordered I assumed I was getting a drink later to find out it's an uncharge. I wasnt asked If i wanted a drink before or after. Why have a picture of the drink with the combo if it's no included? Green beans were microwaved with a bit of garlic on top, average. Chicken was good. Salad was average as well.

Our server was very nice, the only positive really. We went as a group of 10. 4 were children. The food was under cooked and the ribs were so fatty they could not be eaten. We did receive a 20% discount which took almost $30 off still leaving a 117$ bill. We will not be eating there again.

We ordered a couple of hot chicken sandwiches for delivery. Unfortunately somehow our order was messed up and we got some weird open face thing. Luckily when I called an associate named Johnny answered and offered excellent customer service. He rectified the order had it sent out to us quickly and even included the sides that were not messed up when initially delivered. Good customer service and quickly rectified the problem. Kudos.

First impression are ever lasting impression! I haven’t been to a Swiss Chalet Brockville, ON since I was a kid. I noticed on their site they deliver in my area. I thought great! This could come in handy. Sure enough that day came, I placed my order online for 5pm delivery today around noon. Two hours later I receive a call from the restaurant saying their drivers refuse to deliver to my area and I can pick it up or cancel it. No apologies nothing! I am really disappointed as are my 7 kids. I ultimately cancelled it as there was no desire from the message left or my calling back to keep me as a customer from their lack of personality and attitude. I will not be back.

Easy access, Good food & Service .The best meals are chicken but also ribs. We found the ROAST BEEF not that great & would not order it again. This was our 1st time for the beef & rather disappointed but our past experience with their chicken was always great.

Convenient location near the 401 and while this looks dated from the outside, it's had a recent remodeling inside like many of the Chalet locations. Service was fine and the food ok, although nothing spectacular which probably isn't a surprise. Certainly an ok option when traveling across eastern Ontario when there are limited other options.

recently our staff order lunch from Swiss Chalet which was quite a variety from Swiss Chalet's already large menu. All staff enjoyed their meals which came on time, hot and very plentiful. I would recommend this location of Swiss Chalet to anyone especially with the vast entree's available on the take out order. Thanks again for great service. Pat

Burger was quite bad, I have had freezer burgers from Walmart that were much better. Poutine was decent, but not excellent in any way. Far too expensive for the mediocre quality, though the serving size was generous. No one seemed to observe safe distancing, and other diner's tables were well within 6 feet.

The chicken and ribs were warm and tasty. I also enjoyed the garden salad with fresh greens and an Italian vinagrette. However, the barbecue sauce had an intense taste of cloves, which I did not appreciate. The service was quick but could have been more personal and friendly. All in all a good experience.

Excellent service. Arriving after 7pm is perfect as the biggest crowds come early. No issues with parking. The menu just keeps getting bigger and has many great additions. The new roast beef is excellent. You have many options for sides with your dish. The food is served on the oval platter shaped plates and their is plenty to fill an adult male. Love this place and going back again for another hot roast beef sandwich soon!

Extremely disappointed. The food was unbeatable! I ordered the ribs, looked amazing on the menu. It was so fat and full of cartilage, felt like eating a knee. The waiter never came to check on us, couldn't eat my dish or order something else. I was completely disappointed from this well known institution, will not recommend!!

Absolutely fantastic, our server Alexis and the rest of the staff did an incredible job of making our visit one of the best restaurant visits we’ve had in years. The service was fantastic, the food was fantastic and place was spotlessly clean including the washrooms. Everyone wore their mask properly, absolutely no one walked around with it hanging down around their chin or not covering their nose. If you’re looking for great food in a Covid safe environment This is one of the best places to be. Large restaurant, every second table closed off so everyone is well spaced out. We substituted fries for a Caesar salad and it was one of the best Caesar salad’s we’ve had in a restaurant. Can’t wait to go back, would give them 10 stars if it was possible. Again, thank you to everyone for the great food and making us feel safe. And hats off to the manager, obviously making everything to come together like this takes good management.

We went in there on our way home to niagara falls from a family vacation in montreal. Unfortunately, my food had a hair in it and my sister in law received the wrong food, HOWEVER, the attention to fixing the issue right away was fantastic and this is why I give it 5 stars. They took care of my meal and gave us a massive brownie to which we all shared lol.. I can't recall the name of the lady, but she was fantastic.
