I really like the broad range of products this place carries. Everything from work clothing, work boots, pesticides, traps, bee keeping equipment, tools, gardening equipment, hunting Gear & ammo, plumbing hardware, electrical hardware, truck light bars, water softener, dirt, fertilizer, mulch, etc... They've got alot of different outdoorsy things! One of my fav places to browse when I don't know what to do on a boring weekend!

Very poorly managed store. They'll have sale items MAYBE 10% of the time and that's if you show up first thing on the day the sales start. The place is literally filthy. Nobody there knows what a broom is.... The only reason I go into this place is because sometimes they have great pellet gun sales (if it's in stock) and I buy my BB and pellets there for a good price.

If I could give a lower score, I would. Absolutely horrendous customer service at this location. I phoned before leaving to drive all the way there, to arrive and ask for help that was prepared I was coming, to be sent employees who not only smelt like a gym locker room COATED in Axe body spray, but to be told no body that worked there knew anything about the specific product I was trying to pick through.. which was a complete disaster by the way! On top of that- one of the employees was clearly rushing out for their break because I did not get the time of day from them.. I was abandoned in the aisle when they could not give me an answer, nobody even offered to call in for reinforcements to someone who may know the answer or give me ideas as to where to find the information I needed. Wouldve been helpful If their own tools werent broken either. Poor attitudes. Poor work ethics. Poor organization. Every time i have been here I have been let down. Will take my business elsewhere going forward hands down I'd suggest going elsewhere if you need something or know EXACTLY what you're going in the store for because nobody will help you!!

I began shopping here periodically because they have an EV charger to the left of the entrance. So first off, the charger puts out excellent power, getting my Tesla Model 3 about 60-70km of range per hour of charge. I don't usually NEED to charge here, I just do because I want to show support for Peavey Mart. Secondly, this shop is way more fun than I expected. The selection of toys for kids (and big kids) is remarkable, and well-organized. The staff is super helpful, and the prices are excellent. You should definitely shop here, especially if you're an EV driver. Note that I don't usually _need_ to charge here, I just do to show support for the store - and I buy plenty of stuff there to show that support.

The garden department was pretty much cleared out unfortunately but they did have the tomato cages we needed. To get one we did have to spend nearly 10 minutes trying to separate it from the stack because they'd been compressed together so much they wouldn't budge and many were broken. We did manage to get what we needed so 4 stars for having things but one star down for zero assistance available.

Sometimes I'll go in on Friday morning and stay in there till it's closed they lock me up there till Saturday morning. I don't even notice. Once my wife filed a missing persons report. Absolutely shameful and non-existent "customer service". I'm mortified and disgusted by the service my mother just received, a long standing customer that has been getting her bird seed from there for years. She went in for a huge, very heavy bag, and expected to receive some help getting it into the car as she is mobility challenged and has a limp, having recently endured hip replacement surgery. The staff couldn't even be bothered to open a door for my mom, let alone help her out of the store with what must have been a 30-40 lbs bag. Very disappointed and shocked. Also, the store is absolutely filthy and everything is covered in a layer of dust.

Super disappointing. It should not take 3 trips to Chatham to purchase something out of the sale flyer and get what you're asking for. Inventory amounts are never accurate on the website. Even when you call to double check they have an item, be prepared to show up 30 minutes later and have them tell you they have none! I would be more understanding if this was an isolated incident, but time and time again we have the same issues at this location. I am somewhat hopeful that the mistakes made are due to insufficient training, and not just from employees not caring about their jobs or quality of work. A lot of customers that come to TSC are farmers from out of town, who travel 30+ minutes to get there only to be disappointed when flyers are inaccurate or sale items out of stock (even after calling ahead). If you want to avoid a major headache, I would recommend shopping at a different location!

Previously (late summer 2020) I had a not so wonderful customer service experience at the Orillia Peavey Mart, I wrote it off as businesses had lots to handle with all the covid nonsense going on. Just recently though I had great experience with a recent purchase. Item was oversized and heavy. Staff went above and beyond to assist with loading item safely. Very happy with every team member, had to submit a review. Hope this level of service continues.

This store does a terrible job of inventory control. If the TSC website shows that something is in stock, always call and have the staff go verify it is on the shelf before driving here. I’ve been burned three times coming here only to find out that the website stock on hand does not match what the store actually has. Inaccurate inventory reporting is the manager’s fault, but they made excuses when I asked why it’s a recurring problem at this TSC. Also of note: this particular store is a chronic mess. Many shelves are out of stock or disorganized. They’re not short staffed, so again, it’s just a poorly run store.

Update to my first review. I purchased several finch feeders. One was defective, so I wanted to return it but they couldn't find any in the store. There own website and their computer shows 15 in stock. I have been in at least 4 times and each time they take my name and number and are going to find them or get some from another store and call me. Still no call. I went on their website to leave feed back. I rated it 5 stars because the feeders are wonderful. The only problem is no one has the gumption to go look for the ones that are supposed to be somewhere in their store. AS A WARNING to anyone reading the reviews on TSC website. If you write a critical review they do not post it. Therefore the reviews that are there are useless.

It took an hour for my wife to get 8 pickets and 2 rolls of chicken wire. Why? Because the store is extremely disorganized, nothing is put away and the staff are useless. Excellent store. Very similar to Big R chain in US Northwest, you will find hardware, clothing, animal supplies, tools, BBQ/smoker supplies and more. During the holiday season you'll also find kids toys. Prices are average, but there is always sale items. This store is one of the smaller Peavey Mart stores I've seen, so perhaps it's time for a larger store in a better location, or maybe a second location in Medicine Hat. Either way, it's one of my faves.

Cool place, lots more than you'd expect. As well as a variety of items you'd not expect to see there. Along with items you can only find there. The staff was friendly, very friendly. Couldn't go 2 mins without one of them asking if I was finding everything okay. And everytime I picked up something to look at and decide if I wanted to purchase it, someone would come up and insist they take it to the till for me. Talk about rushing the customer. I finally got annoyed and started picking up the most awkward and heavy items they had and said yes to every request to take it to the till. When I went to pay for the items I had decided to purchase I told them I didn't really have time to make a proper decision on the large items in a disarray by the counter and needed more time to think about it. Next time I hope they will let a man shop in peace.

They do not have. Accessibility automatic doors in or out, as a person who looks after those with different abilities they cannot access the store on their own. I contacted their head office when it was TSC. And was told that they wouldnt be putting in auto doors that people with disabilities can have someone do their shopping or order in line and have it shipped to them... This was unacceptable.. I had hopes that PEAVEY MART will make changes that will allow ease if access for those of who need to have auto doors etc.

Sometimes there are good deals, otherwise they are pricy, also very disorganized. Made an online order on May 2nd and still waiting, over 2 weeks now! and all the items I ordered except one showed in stock in the Cornwall store.. I called the Cornwall store on May 21st to find out where my order was since I have been receiving emails to come get my items and was put on hold for over an hour then finally told they were too busy to help me. I will never buy from this horribly run business ever again! Speak with your dollars by buying elsewhere.

I went their to buy a electric fence that is safe for small animals and got a kit for only 170$. The people their are willing to help you find stuff and the store has a lot of stuff for hunters, jobsite workers and farmers. They do gave stuff for people that dont do these things but this store is the best for these things.

This place is very poorly managed. The manager and employees are mean, and they picked at a young man with a backpack under my watchful eye. He was right, too! They wanted him to leave his bag at the cash but they didn’t even bother me with my purse, which was way bigger than his tiny knapsack. Totally unfair and uncalled for. Just when I thought this store couldn’t get worse. ????

Best experience yesterday, there was a women working who helped answer all my new chick owner questions, was super friendly, wish i had grabbed her name, i recently had surgery and she made sure i didn't lift anything and came out to my car with me and put everything in my trunk. Best experience i could have asked for!

Nothing is every priced, or priced properly. A lot of items aren't put out, today when asking about a product 33 were in store not one on the shelf. We were told a manager would come see us to get them, we waited half an hour before approaching the clerk again, turns out they brought one up while she was on break and without telling us, and we needed three so we had to wait again. Not the first time going there and having things missing and under stocked. 2 stars only for the clerk being patient and helpful on trying to help us.

Very poor customer service. It's 8:50am and I was the only customer in the store. I found a roll of corn crib mesh which is like a metal wire fence with no price on it. I walked around the store and found a staff member near the front of the store and asked if she could tell me the price of the roll the metal crib mesh. She asked me if I could go back and bring the roll to the front cash so she could check the price for me. I said well it's kinda heavy and awkward. Then she replies, then sorry I don't no the price and indicting no interest in helping me or making a sale. Then I replied ok Thank you and turned and walked out.

Ordered a welding kit and drove 45 minutes to pick it up. Box was broken and the girl that bought it to me said she checked it and everything was ok. Got home after my 45 minute drive and found that it was used, full of grease, gas guages knocking around loose. Bad guages could be dangerous, and the store employe that bought it ro me doesn't seem ro care. I will never shop there again, i will stay in Québec.

I must start by saying I like TSC, however the Cornwall Store is horrible. Stock is usually questionable, the store is seldom clean, and most of the staff are useless. There are a few with a brain but only a few. I shop mainly online and have it shipped to the Cornwall location but even at that the pick up process can be very tedious.
