I feel bad giving a one star review since it's a good store and the couple who run it are amazing, but the one kid who works there is an absolute pain to deal with. He acts like you being there is an inconvenience and is so arrogant and rude. He also closes the store while he's working sometimes for no apparent reason. Easily a 4 star place or more if yoi go when he's not working.

Absolutely love this place! Super convenient location, they have everything I need, and even remember to remind me when it's a lotto jackpot worth investing in. All of the staff are great and I hope this spot stays open for many years to come :)

I've been going here for years. They are incredibly friendly people. They often have what I want on the counter as soon as I come in the door. I don't get the flak the son is getting. I've seen him carry groceries for old ladies and chase people down the street to return cash/cards. If you don't get along with him, the problem is likely you.

Go there frequently, everyone behind the counter is always friendly, and always acknowledge you when you walk in. It amazes me all the products they have in that place. I was there again today and the young fellow behind the counter was very helpful. It wasn’t too busy and had a minute to shoot the breeze. It’s nice to have a store like this downtown.

STAY AWAY Personally hoping this is one business covid shuts down forever. if there was a rating lower than 1 star...thats what I'd give this place since the new ownership took over. The staff is vulgar and unprofessional. The whole family running it has had physical or verbal altercations with customers. They have been called out on several occasions and never take responsibility or apologize for their complete lack of customer service skills or morals. I strongly suggest looking into the brockville white list/ black list group and reading the dozens of horror stories including putting hands on people's children.... it can be found under the classy picture of the owner giving a customer the finger. Used to be a fantastic ma and pa type store. Unfortunately after going there most of the 30 years of my life, I will never step foot in this store again. He has personally verbally assaulted me and then tried to acuse my three year old of shoplifting when I stood up for myself. He writes poor Google reviews on other local businesses instead of supporting them. And I want everyone to know the type of people who own this store because they don't deserve the support of our local community or anywhere else for that matter. Edit: im glad you decided that after replying and deleting those responses several times I left this review as I had a horrendous experience at your store, as you say 100 of people would disagree, so you can continue to comment and delete posts here and there apparently, or just take it for what it is. My experience, at the end of the day people will form there own opinions when they visit, good or bad.
