My husband and I LOVE this place ever since we found it on google maps 9 months ago! We come here almost monthly. We live across the boarder in the US and its only a 30min drive. The price is right. The food is fresh. The staff is always asking if we want more, which of course we do! Best AYCE place in Brockville. Will be a loyal customer for a long time!

I went in around lunch time on a saturday, the place was almost empty except from a one table. As soon as I got in I did not find anyone to assist me, instead the bad smell was strongly present and welcomed me from the door, then at the counter I discovered the ingredients which looked anything but fresh... Needless to say it took me less than a minute to run out

What a disappointment!! Since when must you leave a tip when picking up an order. Beware if you plan on paying with a card. The male employee at the cash pressed the 12% tip button then passed the key pad for payment card and PIN. When we realized the discrepancy and called Kochi the employee denied his action even when we have proof in the 12% difference from the bill and our account transaction. Never again will we be eating here and supporting this business. Save a pile of money and go to Billy Ks just a few hundred meters north in the plaza behind Wendy's, you won't be disappointed there!

This place is definitely worth a trip across the border for me! The food is absolutely delicious, service is quick, and price is great. In the states, I have not found an all-you-can eat place near me, at all, let alone for this awesome price. Snow Mountain Roll was my favorite, highly recommend that one. I only give four stars due to the service from the staff. One staff in particular appeared miserable and became agitated with our questions. The other staff were not rude, but definitely not friendly. Simply just did their job. Despite this, I will be back solely due to the amazing food here.

For 2 years I have been going to this sushi place about once a month for lunch on the weekend. 3 to 4 people each time with a bill ranging between 55 to 90 $ depending on the time. Today Oct 20th, will be my last time after I paid for my meal and didn't include a tip for horrible service (first time happening at this location) The owner followed me and our guest out to blast us for not leaving a tip. I have no problem tipping when the service is up to a certain level. I have a history of always rounding up if it's 55$ I do 60 etc, but after the waitresses today, and getting followed out of the restaurant today, I won't be returning. A "tip" is earned by your service level. It should not be expected if your service is bad.

Ordered takeout. Party tray was awesome but also ordered 3 sides of beef tataka which was not at all what beef tataka should be as it is one of my favorites. It was basically a peppercorn coated medium cooked (way overcooked)steak cut way too thick with a sauce over top of a pile of stick cucumbers and raw asparagus. All you could taste was peppercorns. At almost $7 a small side container it was just awful and a waste of money

I wont be going back. My family and I were going at least once a week, we loved it. The service during our last visit was really bad. The new waitress wasnt listening and never came back to refill waiter or ask if we wanted to order anything else and then they tried to charge us 92.00 for 3 adults (at lunch.) Then my 2 daughters went the next day and were treated very badly. They were told to order everything they wanted at once. The wait staff has really gotten rude and aggressive. We are really disappointed.

You don't have to flag them down to order more, they come by in a timely manner. It should be noted that lunch is $15.99 and $25.99 for dinner. Add $1 if eating there fri-sun.

July 17th 2019. My wife and I where in Brockville for the day and we decided to have Sushi. So we thought we would try out Kochi Sushi. So we go in and look at the menu and we order our first round which was Miso soup and an order of California rolls. So we got that and the miso soup was ok but the California rolls where bland to say the least. During that time my wife asked for a glass of pino grigio wine and I asked for a large Saki. So then I started to order sushi but in doing so I asked if they had red or white tuna. The waitress replied yes it's in the fridge. I didn't quite understand and I asked her again she replied the same. So she went off and I asked my wife did she say what I thought she said! And my wife replied yes. So when she came back with the sushi order we had I asked her what it was going to cost me to get the tuna out if the fridge?? She said no tuna!!! So to make a long story short we ordered a bit more and my wife asked for another wine and I asked for a small Saki and she asked me if I was driving and I said yes but the large saki I had was my first drink of the day and I was fine to have the second. Well she cut me off!! So we got up and left my wife paid the bill and they wanted to charge for what we had coming and my wife said no! I was so steamed I walked out and said never again will I set foot in this place!! I'm 62 year old Male never have I been caught for impaired driving and never have I ever in my life walked out of a restaurant without finishing. I have been around the world 31/2 times and had sushi in some of the best places in the world. I know what my limits are and that experience for both my wife and I was the worst I've ever had. This used to be "all you can eat". After two years of not being in Brockville, we came to visit family and went to Koshi Sushi for lunch. As we used to, we ordered many types of sushi...not realizing they were no longer doing all you can eat... we were not informed otherwise... however, the server kept coming back to get orders as they would for all you can eat. The menu also doesn't specify that they're only doing priced menu items and still says "all you can eat". It's a scam and the food isn't good enough to be paying price per item. The only type of compensation that was offered was if we wanted to pay cash and get 10% off the price. You're better off going to the Superstore for your sushi fix.

I'm guessing they were killing fish in a way that wasn't humane. The food is really good though and prices are reasonable. Average price for all you can eat sushi. Great tasting sashimi, sushi, rolls, and tempura. Vast selection, with spicy and vegetarian options as well. Unlimited desserts are included such as mango, green tea, and red bean ice creams! Only frustration was the staff at times interrupting our dinner to ask if we wanted to order more (while we're still eating) or if we were ready for the bill just because we took a few minutes to talk instead of stuffing our faces with delicious Japanese cuisine.

We drove in off the highway, after being on the road all day. We just wanted enough for 2 of us. We were 15 minutes before closing. The staff at Kochi Sushi were happy to fill our order and we took it to go. So fresh and fast and friendly! Gluten free options! Thanks again! Will definitely come again when we can sit and enjoy!

Sushi is alright, just like any other Sushi buffet you see in small town Canada. However, the Chinese stuff is , emmm, rude. I stopped by the town with my family a month ago. The girl who served us, she is very impatient when she took our orders and the way she talks, sounds like she just had a period yesterday, period. No respect to the Chinese customer at all. However, when she talked to the local customers, she got merry smile on her face. I do not think she is sincere enough if she treat customer differently like this. Word of advise, for a successful sushi buffet restaurant, it should provide customers the "Sheet of menu items" , so customers may write down the numbers right next to the items to order. It would be more efficient.

One step above grocery store sushi. I was really excited to finally try Brockville's sushi restaurant but unfortunately it is not good. Salad dressing is grey and goopy in texture, miso soup tasted like chicken broth. Sushi rolls and nigiri were sloppy and bland and spicy salmon roll had maybe 3 grams of fish in the entire roll. Pretty disappointing.

We arrived at 9:18 and were met at the door with the statement that they were closing at 10 and we could only order until 9:30. Then the waitress only gave us all-you-can-eat menus at $27 each. I only figured it out by asking to order beef fried rice to go (in addition to the sushi we were ordering to eat in-house) and she then told me we couldn’t order anything to go. The waitress was unbelievably aggressive in getting the order placed. Even after being asked three times to please “give me a minute,” she still hovered over me, pointing at different items as I was trying to look at the menu, talking nonstop in a very rushed manner. I finally put my head in my hands and said, “Let’s just go” to my daughter. But she had her heart set on sushi and protested. I asked the waitress to “please stop” and let me look at the menu. She insisted that udon noodles were rice noodles, and I pulled up on my phone that they were not. During the meal, two additional people came over to tell us they closed at 10. When she brought the bill, I just wanted to look at it, and she took it out of my hand, hovered over it, talking and pointing nonstop. This time, I didn’t say anything, but just stared at her without looking at the bill. She stopped. I don’t think you should get treated that way for walking in 40 minutes before close time. And no matter what, no wait staff should be that aggressive with a customer. Up side? The food was good. However, we did not enjoy the meal due to the atmosphere created by the staff, and we will never return.

They’ve lost my business. For a year they have had no all you can eat because they’re making a killing for much less product. Today I ordered a combo and didn’t get a soup and salad. I called and she said they have no soup and salad anymore but yet it’s the same price. Every single sushi restaurant you go to, the combo comes with miso soup and salad. I’m done with this place and have been driving to Kingston and giving Sakura my business instead.

It's a good little place. Definitely a lower quality sushi, doesn't have a ton of choices. But really what other options are there for an all you can eat sushi restaurant in Brockville. I have been a few times so can't say it's that bad. Highly recommend not getting the deep-fried scallop. They put some sort of mayo on it. It's pretty gross. Mango roll is great though.

TO KOCHI SUSHI- the animals in your care in the restaurant (2 red-ear slider turtles/or eastern painted) and being completely neglected and abused! In a 30 gal tank filled 1/4 of the way, completely green water. Turtles are extremely skinny with none of their requirements. I reached out as I run a rescue yet have not heard back. They most likely have less then a year to live if conditions aren't changed. Please contact me for care options or surrender them - this comment will be deleted if this is resolved. Quick review: Pretty great AYCE sushi joint, with option for a la carte, especially considering they're just off the 401 exit in Brookville and attached to a Day's Inn. Satisfied that on-the-road sushi craving. If I pass through Brookville again, I will return. Food: Quite good. Pictured is the grilled squid. The food was better than I thought. Only major issue was I ordered mackerel sashimi and it was not fresh at all. Had an off-yellow color, not white, and tasted too fishy, like it thawed incorrectly, not at all the normal mackerel fishy tasty. Other than that, the rest of the food was incredibly satisfying and tasty. Food was also served extremely quickly and came out hot! Staff: Extremely quick!! They take your orders here, rather than guests ordering with an iPad. They refill your water quickly, come back at appropriate intervals for your next order, and were so quick. I'm very impressed with their speed because AYCE sushi staff tend to be slow. Other notes: Quite easy to miss because it's attached to the Day's Inn. Keep your eyes out to get into the parking lot. Free parking.

I never thought I was a sushi person until one of my friends insisted I go!! It really surprised me with how great it was!! Now my favourite place to go!!! Snow Rolls are a must try!! Rock n Roll is another favourite! But even if you don't try any of the sushi rolls, there is plenty other stuff to try!! Sweet n sour chicken, beef teriyaki, etc! Love, love, love this restaurant!!!!

I'm a bit overwhelmed by the amount of positive reviews when the experience we had was ordinary at best. We decided to try it out on lunch time since the place was newly renovated and didn't feel like overspending in case the food did not meet our expectations. I'm not a fussy person at all but the food was tasteless, except for the green onions in the Wonton soup. The soup was obviously canned, the dumplings were frozen and heated up, the sushi rice was not seasoned, the chicken was dry. My girlfriend makes better sushi at home and she is an amateur. As for the service, the waitresses hover around you and ask you if you want to order more food every 3-4 minutes, which is funny at first and then annoying. Can we finish our plate and then let you know? Might be their definition of efficiency. Service is extremely fast, but maybe they should spend more time preparing fresh quality food. The only positive was that the place is very clean and the new renovations are nice. I won't be back again unfortunately. The best sushi place I've ever been is still Dragon Roll in Belleville.

The food here was very tasty! I loves all the different varities. Sad to say though, this was my first and last time eating here. I went today and my bill was 49.48 including the tip, When I went online to check my visa bill it said the restaurant had taken out 59.37. So I call the restaurant to ask if something had happened, his first response was saying that his receipt also said 49.48 which I understood cause we had the same receipt. All I was trying to ask was why there would be an extra 10$ charge on my visa bill and why would it say it went to your restaurant. I ended the conversation with well I will not be returning to your establishment and hung up. He calls back, told me I shouldnt say things like that to people, I said that all I wanted was to explain the situation and see if you knew anything he just kept rambling I said can you please just let me talk, he just continued on. So again I said can you please let me speak.. his response? He says "F*** you" and hung up. I have never been treated so rudely by someone in customer service. Well, if he was trying to lose customers he did a good job at that.

Update. Drove back months later to give them another try. Google said they were open . Drove another hour and a half to Get there and there is a sign posted they are closed for renovations . UPDATE YOUR DAMN HOURS ONLINE!!! Showed up on a Wednesday after driving an hour and a half and they were closed.

Great food for the price! The menu includes a great variety of foods that are all brought to the table in a reasonable amount of time. You can show up and gorge on sushi or you can enjoy a multi course meal. Your sushi meal will feel a whole lot fancier if you start with a salad, a soup, maybe an appetizer, then have sushi and follow it up with dessert. It’s all included in the price so you may as well enjoy yourself! You will have I go quite a few times to find your favourites on the menu, it’s worth the multiple visits though!

Food is always super with lots of variety. Decent price for lunch and if you eat lots of sashimi and sushi (or food in general) you can certainly eat your money's worth. If not, you can always order a la carte. On busy days there is a bit of wait and on occasion part of your order might be missed, but all in all, one of Bville's best.

Was here for the night ordered the spicy chicken binto box. The chicken was over fried to the point that most of it was inedible. The Miso soup was very bland. And the sushi qas grocery store quality. The only saving grace was the dumplings were very good. IMO the meal was a waste of money.

Super conveniently located right off the 401. We phoned our order ahead and barely missed a beat picking it up to carry on our way. Excellent vegetarian options with fresh ingredients and lovely presentation - better than any other sushi places along the Kingston-Toronto corridor. Definitely worth a return visit (the sit down restaurant is typical small hotel sized but had interesting aquaria and momentoes of Japan).

I am going to make my final review of this place since I am never coming back to eat here anymore. I ate here first on 2017 and our first time was not at all pleasant. The waitstaff with short hair was not a single bit accommodating and would raise her voice at you and show agitation. The other staff with her was the one who talked to us after she walked out, and she was FAR NICER than the cranky one. Sadly, we never saw her serve there again. We kept coming back after that and just shrugged that off because the food was indeed delicious and good for the price and if it is not the only sushi restaurant near by we wouldnt have. Almost every month or twice. The service didn't improve and we definitely experienced a lot of terrible service. We were here for the renovations and the additional workers. The other staffs now are not as "rude" but definitely lacking courtesy. My last experience here wasnt good as they would make you feel like you HAVE TO LEAVE when you are done eating. The restaurant wasn't even full and they would just make you feel unwanted. If another sushi bar establishes in Brockville, I know for sure this restaurant will lose their customers in a snap of a finger.

Maki rolls have a lot of rice, the most rice I’ve ever seen on a roll, so the taste was unfortunately very plain and underwhelming. The large portion of rice per piece certainly effects the value you pay for all-you-can eat. What’s more alarming was the aggressive customer service from my last visit, after leaving a tip on the table the waiter ran into the parking lot as I was about to leave asking for a larger tip which was quite shocking. I could look past the sub-par sushi quality given that it’s the only option in the area but the poor service in inexcusable.

I would say thia is the best option when you enroute to ottawa from Toronto. It is only 5 minutes detour from the highway, and with CAD19 per person you can order as much as you want, the food quality is also good, I tried so manu different menu and all of them is delicious, I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely use this again on my future trip

And we tell her to refund the money back and she said that we order the food we have to pay but we tell the server that udon soup smell terrible. We tell her the right way that food smells bad. But she starts arguing with us. I try to get her attention but she was talking on the phone taking another order. People just stay away from this place the food is terrible sushi is dry.

The sushi isn't bad but the customer service is generally pretty awful. Almost every time I eat here I receive something I did not order, or I do not receive something I did order. I don't usually mind and try to enjoy being surprised at what shows up. Tonight I called for takeout and they asked for my phone number and said they'd call me back. It has been 45 minutes and they have not called me back, and have not answered the phone when I called them back. I really wish there was another sushi option in this town.

The more we eat there the more disappointed we are in the service. The food is good, the price for lunch all-you-can eat is very reasonable. But the service! They keep bringing out the wrong rolls. We find we have to repeat ourselves multiple times. For example my wife is a vegetarian and allergic to fish and I told them multiple times to put mine on a separate plate. Lo and behold, they put her vegetarian stuff on my fish filled plate. We told them she couldn't eat it because it was with the fish. They took it back, put it on another plate and tried to serve it to her again! Then she would come and ask us multiple times in a matter of minutes if we wanted more, even after telling her we would flag her down when we were ready. There wasn't many people there and we felt very rushed. Again, food is good but the service is a huge turn off. Especially when mixing vegetarian and seafood.

First, let me say that they have amazing food. Next, let me say that the prices are also very competitive. Last, let me say that I enjoyed the food and the service so much, I had to return. The staff are on top of their game. Whether to seat you, or to take your order, they are very prompt and aware. I felt like if I wanted to place an order they were ready. The kitchen speed was also very prompt. We went for Saturday lunch and it was comfortably occupied both times. Definitely recommend it.

Biggest challenge is whether to go purely with sushi/ sashimi, or for Japanese favorites! Make the choice to go one way or the other... then order in a week or so to try the other :0) Have to admit I was skeptical.. but the sushi was fresh.. the miso soup was awesome and the service was friendly... and there was a line up for take out... which generally speaks for itself when it comes to quality and yumminess! Give it a go...... support our local restaurants... they're trying really hard to keep us happy.... and to stay afloat!

Don't let the exterior appearance of the dated hotel and less than stellar signs fool you, this place serves great sushi. We we're sceptical, but decided to give it a chance and we're rewarded with excellent, friendly service and top quality rolls.
