Love Jon's! Their breakfast is great, tasty and very generously portioned! The cheese omelet being my go to. But hubby gets two egg, bacon and homefries and a side of toast. Service is fast. The atmosphere is homey and if you sit in the booths you get Jackie (a very awesome waitress, though to be fair all their waitresses are wonderful.) We love it!

It was a dark and dreary rainy Wednesday afternoon when we picked Jon's from a map search mainly because it was neither a chain fast-food place nor located immediately in the crowded historic district of Brockville. As we approached the prospect was at most uncertain. The location, if not across the tracks, was certainly beside them and the neighborhood, if not historic, was certainly old, but there was ample parking and so we persevered and in turn were delighted. Jon's is cozy, comfortable, and clean. The menu is simple and breakfast is served all day. Servings were generous and the food excellent. Decor is entirely railroad memorabilia with many photos of steam engines at work. As we finished our early supper tables were filling with families and friendly groups. This is a true gem and most highly recommended.

Tiny place. Excessive wait times. Unimpressive food. Visited on a Monday. Arrived at 10:30am. The place is very small and horribly crowded. Its also right next to the train tracks. I thought the noise from the trains would bother me as they were very loud outside. Turns out the patrons are all shouting so loud, they drowned out the trains. We are told we'll be seated in a few minutes. We waited 20. When we're finally seated, we wait another 45 minutes to get our food. Nothing fancy. Egg sunny side up, bacon, home fries with toast and an egg sandwich on a bagel. Coffee/tea is included in the price of most meals, but if you drink something else you pay for it anyways plus whatever you actually want. Food is pretty mediocre. Home fries mushy, not crisp. Bacon rubbery. Egg on sandwich overcooked. The sandwich was poorly assembled, half the egg hanging out one side, cheese out the other. That's the kind of sloppy presentation I expect from a teenaged fast food worker. No paper towels in the bathroom or a hand dryer. But the toilet paper is mounted up where the paper towels should be. Weird and awkward. Do they want people shaking their hands dry as they walk back to their tables? Would never visit again.

An awesome Diner! First and foremost the value. You are getting your money's worth when you come in here. Actually more than that when you consider the service as well. It seemed to be in usually busy on a Saturday morning in such a small tow. But the food came in in a reasonable amount of time and the quality was good. The interior is nice and has a very quaint but Diner feel to it. Great for families. They provide the proper standard breakfast. Coffee is great and I was told the home fries are made locally.

The go to place for Breakfast in Brockville. Better than Mike's or Chateau Brock. On par with Tincap. Their menu is quite simple, nothing fancy but tasty. The coffee is also always good, VERY important in a breakfast restaurant. The staff is also quite lovely. We always have a good experience at this place. The prices are reasonable too. The atmosphere is really nice and the interior design is cozy. It is quite small so expect to wait 5-10 minutes during peak hours. The only thing I would do is fix the parking lot. I understand it is not very well located but it is a hotspot for dings and collisions.

I first went to Jon's Restaurant when I was in highschool about fourteen years ago and have never had a single bad meal or experience there.. Their breakfast is amazing but for me the best part of their menu are their burger and fries. Infact when I moved back from Kingston to Brockville the first meal I had was at Jon's ! The staff is always so nice and as I'm writing this I'm getting ready to head out for breakfast there.. For me it really is the best eatery in Brockville.

Small town feel from the outside in. All food is cooked from scratch here. Their local favourite dish is the turkey club made from super thinly sliced turkey breast. Its incredible. They cook turkeys all day long to keep up with demand. Its always hot fresh turkey! They treated me like family right from the get go even though i was just passing through. Will be seeing you guys again soon!

Very nice friendly atmosphere and staff. So here I'm going a 3.5 star actually. I had my usual Western omelette, as when I try a new place, in order to to rate it, I try to order a dish found everywhere. So Western omelette was missing a few and lack of ingredients. This was more of a ham omelette. There was no bell peppers and just a bit of onions.

Fast friendly service and delicious French Toasts. My friend enjoyed his eggs and home fries as well. Best place in town to go for breakfast in my opinion. Pretty decent prices. They have booths and another section with regular tables if you go with a small group. Free parking. They are usually pretty busy so can be a bit noisy but wouldn't deter me from ever going there. Family owned and cozy place to go. Would highly recommend you try them out if you've never been, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with your meal or the pleasant staff. Nice and clean too.

We travel often from toronto to Quebec and we always try and stop here either on our way there or our way back and sometimes even both ways.. found this place by luck and absolutely love it. The staff are soo friendly and welcoming even remember us whenever we stop in, the locals are always soo pleasant and outgoing with our kids.. my kids are entertained by the train that passes by while we eat. The food is excellent and price is reasonable portion size is excellent.. But I have to say I definitly go back for the small town atmosphere and warmness

My friend and I had brunch and to us it was lacklustre, I had breakfast, my eggs scrambled were rubbery, nothing special, my friend had fish and chips, chips were like frozen chips and the fish was just ok. Needs little touches like fruit, something special on the plate. Too bad, it looked promising with a lot of people but for the price and the service, it was just ok, no offer of more coffee, was hoping for something more I guess.....we found it expensive for what we had, we'll not go back.

A small cozy restaurant on Perth St across from the VIA Rail train station. I've been here twice with my friend for the breakfast platter which we had at lunchtime. The food was quite good & the owner Mike & waitresses are friendly. It is small though, so not the place to go for big groups.

Great place with a train theme near the train station. Saw 4 VIA trains pass while we were having breakfast for lunch. Price was reasonable and healthy portions. Great diner feel, very recommended.

Sausage's were way under done, eggs were really greasy, omelet had no cheese, gravy looked like jello and bacon tasted bad and raw. Worst breakfast experience I've ever had I wouldnt recommend this place
