The quality is superb and consistent. I'm hooked on halibut. A little panko and parmesan, bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Salt pepper and lemon. Second best is the steelhead. A little ponzu and brown sugar. BBQ skin down..

EXCELLENT! A great selection of some of the freshest seafood in Vancouver, with a splash of condiments. WE left with a nice selection of fish and my lunch was their Poke, yummy! VISIT next door, Harbour Oyster + Bar, grab some oysters and a nice glass of wine, you will not be disappointed!!!

Conveniently located on the drive. Good quality fish. They make their own salmon sausages in house. Not a particularly large place but decent selection of fresh fish, crustaceans and a couple of freezers with frozen fish and prepared foods.

Great quality! It's really nice to have a full sustainable sea food market. Prices don't seem that bad to me. Only dark spot is the staff can be off sometimes. Had the same person twice, months appart, and it was both wrong. First time didn't give me back enough money and second time got my order wrong and ended up paying more, and wasn't really friendly either.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. A great selection of fresh seafood. The lobsters, the smoked salmon treats, the freezer stocked with goodies, and other tasty offerings make this place a must when shopping on the Drive. We like to buy a whole salmon and have it filleted and wrapped for our freezer. Yesterday, live Spot Prawns were available. Excellent seafood market!

Poor service. Poor product. Multiple times. Drive the extra 10 minutes to Granville Island to be served by people who care and who sell a fresh product. I just read the owner’s incredibly rude reply to another unsatisfied customer: “Hey Dylan Dan, Who hurt you?“ Really??? Wow!!! Seems the fish stinks from the head down. Shame on you!!!!

my go 2 place for quality seafood! Their store has the largest selection of seafood I've been able to find in Vancouver and the staff are always very friendly and knowledgable. If Im having a busy week i like taking advantage of their online seafood market and ill place an order for delivery. The seafood shows up ice cold and fresh! I cant recommend this place enough. check them out!

Way over priced !!!! I Bought some mediocre looking Salmon here less than a week ago thinking i was saving money, I price checked at Granville island yesterday only to find out that it was $3/lb cheaper and looked much fresher at Granville island, don't waste your time going here when you can get better quality fresher seafood at Granville island, or any other Seafood store in the city. I guess these companies have to charge a premium these days just to survive with the high overhead, rent and property taxes in Vancouver.

Love this place. Just around the block from me. Way better than any supermarket. A couple bucks extra for just a sooo much better experience. The Miso marinated salmon was amazing. I love the staff there as well, you can develop a personal relationship with them because it's mostly the same people! They even toss me a discount sometimes :).

We used them after a fantastic day of fishing with Pacific Angler to process, vacuum pack and freeze our catches. Packaged perfectly for the airline and the fish/gel packs were still frozen when we arrived home in Minnesota! Definitely will use them again!

Just great! I called because of the "100% Sustainable" part, and I'll be back because they're awesome. I know nothing about seafood, and when I called about picking up something on Valentine's, the person I spoke to was super helpful, and listed many great options with friendly enthusiasm. They answered all my questions, and encouraged me to come in to see things for myself. So I did, Valentine's after work, when I thought they would be slammed/fried/out of everything. Instead, I met Matt, who took time to recommend me his go-to (steelhead), as well as how to cook it -- he added his favourite marinade, gave me the time/temperature/technique, and what touches he likes to add for best flavour. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. It turned out great, was totally delicious, and helped me look good in front of the girl I like...! These guys are great -- Matt for sure. I appreciate them being sustainable, and being so awesome about it. I will be back, I recommend them to everyone, and most of all -- thank them for being great! They're awesome -- huge props to Matt -- thank you!

Too expensive for what you get. If you are in a pinch and want good quality it's the best place to go in the area but you can find seafood just as good for a much better price elsewhere. Also if you pay by card they ask for a tip!

Went to this store for some smoked black cod and some candied salmon, I've noticed some of the reviews saying things like "freshest fish in town" or "candied salmon was good" Unfortunately that was not the case when my father and I went there. The customer service was terrible two young boys serving us didn't want to put their phones down and didn't care much to serve us or even care for what we wanted and we were the only ones in the store. The smoked and candied salmon had a taste that was stale and almost of mould. I would suggest going to Granville Island for the freshest fish, or to the impound lot for better customer service ????

ATTENTION to customers: CHECK THE PRICE BEFORE YOU PAY! I've been here 3 times with only one time leaving semi-satisfactory. The first visit I bought a whole salmon and had them fillet it, expecting them pack up the bones as well so I could make a soup. Got home, opened up the paper package and yup, no bones, just the fillets. Next time I purchased a mix of 30 oysters, no issues here. However only the Fanny Bays were good; Royal Miyagi, Beau Soleil, and Beach oysters were all extremely thin in flavour and not worth your time. The most recent visit was in October 2016 at 5 PM, where I purchased a dozen and a half of oysters, some salmon candy and a whole salmon again, specifying to keep the bones. The salmon fillet had the advertised price of $2.20/100g. Came home, checked the bill, and was OVERCHARGED $2.64/100g. Okay, so before heading back I doubled checked the price by phone and the employee confirmed the price of $2.20/100g. Arrived at the store right at closing at 7:30 PM, explained the situation and the same employee who served me (David), said it was only a few dollars (actually ~$10) before checking the price tag, and then checking the price at the scale. He briefly apologized and said that the PRICE TAG OF $2.20/100g WAS INCORRECT and that I wasn't overcharged. Okay, so basically for the entire 10 hour day they had customers paying 20% more for what they thought was the actual price. In my experience many stores will apologize, honour the incorrect advertised price and then change it, not these guys.

Went to grab some halibut for dinner. Price was actually lower than Granville Island, which was surprising given the store being 100% sustainable front to back. I did notice some items were more expensive, but that because they are from a sustainable and ocean wise approved location, as the owner explained to me. I don't mind paying a couple dollars extra to save the environment and grab some super fresh fish!

Bought a big piece of halibut and that evening opened the package and it had a very strong fishy smell and did not have a spring to it - the fish was definitely starting to go bad - very disappointed they would sell fish like this and call it "daily catch" - will not be buying my fish here anymore I didn't know I could return the fish if it wasn't fresh - if that's your policy then that's great customer service. I just think the staff should be aware of the freshness of the product that they are putting out and checking it too.
