I bought 2 Electric Blue Jack Dempsey's and FedEx was delayed a day and I was so worried my fish wouldn't survive so I phoned Aquarist Across Canada and I was told they would be fine, because he had put in a 60 hour heat pack and sure enough they arrived and were totally fine. Great packing job and great instructions on how to acclimate the shipped fish. I will be a forever customer. AAC = Amazing.

First time online buyer. The process wasn't difficult at all! It clearly explains what to do and how to as well. I had to message them a few times and they replied in a timely manner . I was extremely nervous for my fish while transport but they all made it!!! The packing was very well done! The fishmwere double bagged and nicely tucked in together in the box. The box is Styrofoam lined and they added some heat packs to keep them warm. The price if shipping method was worth every penny. I was very impressed with the whole experience and recommend this company one hundred percent!!!

1st time ordering from AAC. Ordered 15 Pseudomogil furcatus. They shipped Tuesday and arrived in Charlottetown on Thursday. Fish were packaged perfectly, and none died in shipment. Better then never but I was able to get my dream fish a while back the fire pike. Came in a few inches and is a full blown monster now. The fish was really healthy when I got it I remember that after I acclimated it to my tanks temp it took no time for it to get comfortable in my tank. Now it's the boss no doubt.

I couldn't find oto catfishs anywhere in Montreal and I had never ordered fish through the mail before. I was very skeptical that this website, looking straight out of the early 2000s would deliver, but what the heck, lets give it a shot. Fish arrived in only 2 days, was very impressed with the packaging, warm pads for winter to keep the fish comfy and they included their recommended instructions for acclimation as well as what to do if their fish arrive in poor health and how to contact them. All of them looked healthy. My only regret is to not have made a larger order that included the plants that I was looking for too! Would definitely deal with them again!

I ordered three fish from Aquarists Across Canada, I was eager to have a particular kind of fish I could not find in pet stores locally (oranda goldfish) and was nervous about having them delivered, but it worked out. Only one fish did not survive the travel, but I anticipated this possibility with the cold temperatures and a sudden delay in delivery. I simply followed the instructions they have on their website and filled out a claim. They were happy to refund the cost of the fish. I also noticed they updated their website to include a disclosure regarding delivery of fish due to cold temperatures and package delays, they seem to really care about their business and I would love to check them out in person.

Have been buying fish and supplies here for several years. I like the quarantine process and practices for new fish that this company employs. I also find the real, genuine and honest support to be a huge asset. You can get info here without it being fancied up and sugar coated. If there is a problem with the fish simply discuss it, and its dealt with. No problem. Communication is key. Great quality and selection of fish and great support. Fast shipping.

Was not too sure about ordering fish online. Seeing as the location was our bordering province and that it would probably arrive within day-day and a half decided to give it a try. Plus the fact that they did guarantee at least some of purchase price refund for a week. Only way I could see to obtain a Zebra Pleco. Was told in Aquarium shops in Calgary that one could/would run 500.00 to 600.00. Had one last time I was in the hobby and it cost me 30.00. I thought I was crazy then and I guess I'm crazier now. Anyways product arrived promptly and very well packaged. I would also imagine that Fed Ex makes anything that is labeled 'live' would be a priority for them . Its been a week today and all good. I have enjoyed watching him every second, probably around 60 at this time. Why do they have to be so shy. Paid 200.00 for something I hardly get to see. Oh well. Happy to have him. Outstanding fish. I'm not a big fan of plecos. Find them a little creepy, especially when they get large, so this is the only one I would put in my tank. Aside from the striking markings, they stay on the small side. Unfortunately the shipping is high, but that is to be expected for overnight shipping. All shipping is ridiculous at this time. Will order from AAC again when there are enough items I'm interested in to make a 'sizeable' order. Their prices are lower than all reputable dealers in my area, so that does come into play as well. Gotta weigh it all out.

In the section for leaving notes I asked for a specific date in the near future and left options that were within the shipping days listed and asked for that so it could correspond with a day off from work but the fish were dispatched basically right away. That’s undoubtedly an honest oversight of some type but could be cause for concern if I was away because everything would’ve had to be unpacked at either your or my expense. Regardless we are required to leave our contact info for a reason so I could easily have been contacted which also goes for me so I’m not super affected but someone could have been. But the important part is the fish looked great only one dead bumble goby out of 20 not going to claim that. But the figure 8 puffers were WONDERFUL. The bag was marked green spotted puffer which would’ve been a disaster but they are indeed figure 8’s which have become extremely hard to get and they look awesome and are close to if not two inches. This place is one of the best options I’ve found across Canada. *****it’s true what the owner said about the comments. That’s on me so the shipment was basically perfect and super prompt*****

I want to remind everyone that this store is run by one guy. Been running my 7 aquariums for 3 years now with 95% of my fish coming from this store, several on Billy's suggestion. He takes amazing care of the fish in store doing thousands of gallons in water changes each week, medicating/Quarantining new arrivals, all while taking the time to personally respond to as many messages as he can. I have NEVER had a negative experience with him and have only ever lost fish from the store due to my own lack of research. (Not having a tight enough lid, Too high flow, water parameters ect.)

Super fast shipping from BC to QC. Ordered 10 redclaw crayfish, one was DOA and another lethargic with a broken claw and died the next morning. Considering the stress/traveling they went through I creally do not consider this a negative aspect of my businness with Aquarists. I had made video of box opening, and they refunded me the value of both loses once we traded emails/vids. Hypothesis on casualties was that the heat pack was directly alongside both cups holding those individuals...heatstress maybe!!!??? Great transaction, ordered, shipping started that evening and they were at my place next day at 15h00. Highly recommend doing business, will again.
