The owner is so knowledgable in the field it's unbelievable! He has been so great and he truly cares for your pets as much as you do! My pup was sick and I went in to see if there was anything they could do for him and he took me to some products and after a little bit of information exchange he showed me the products that actually helped my pup heal. My advice to anyone that may have an issue with their pet bring in a picture of the issue so there is no confusion. You can tell he truly loves his job. The employees he hires also have a lot of knowledge in different topics of food choices and comfort.

I bought a hamster here a couple of weeks ago and I just tried to pick him up and he was dead in his cage never buying anything from her again I hate this store I took great care of him and fed him 2 pellets a day this store is awful I hate it

This is by far the best per store I have ever been to. I recently rescued a very sick snake, and the people here have been so helpful. They went above and beyond when I was given injectable antibiotics to give to my snake, they helped me administer them They let me bring him into the store and they held him while I gave the injection. I would have had an incredibly hard time if they hadn't helped me. They are amazing and they truly care about their customers.

Great pet store. Lots of options. Prices are fair. The orientation of the food changes often so its hard to find sometimes and they always seem to be out of stock of the common food i need for my pets. They offer buy some many and get 1 free so thats great. Love it and so do my pets.

They've been so helpful guiding me in the right direction with raw food options for my dog and extremely helpful with the ordering process. The customer service I've received has been the best I've experienced in any retail store. During COVID lockdown, while the store was curbside, they were always quick to have orders ready. Thank you for making this new adventure into raw food an absolutely breeze and pleasant experience.

We’ve lived in Paris for 5 years and although Ruffins is conveniently located, we’ve never been. My sister strongly recommended checking them out raving about the staff. She was right! Had the opportunity of visiting yesterday and was helped by young lady who not only was knowledgeable but warm and friendly. Customer service seems to be a lost art in this day and age. She went above and beyond telling me about the product i bought and their reward and return program. I think i’ve found my new go-to place for my 4 cane corsos!! Keep up the great work!

Ah, Ruffins. I will never not absolutely adore this place. The staff are incredibly friendly and are wonderful people to converse with! We recently bought a chameleon named 'Vlad' and they were kind enough to walk us through all the details and even his personality traits, Some of the staff even came specifically to bid Vlad a farewell. I have never bought a fish from there and had it die on me, Except for a betta but that was on me. (I forgot to let the water cycle!) I've spent hundreds at this store, I'm only 15 and 70% of my income goes to them. Words cannot express how much I love this place, I could sit there for hours and watch the animals. They are very well taken care of, And i've noticed they actually treat their fish (Very much unlike many pet stores ive been to!) Sometimes things can be on the expensive side, But I'd much rather support Ruffins and pay a little extra, and get the incredible customer service and the genuine smiles on their faces when you become a regular. Nothing feels better than that. This store is the one and only place I will walk for 20 mins in -10 degree weather even to browse. (Although... that's never the case. I always end up leaving with an animal or something to spoil one of my many animals) The animals are already hand tamed, which I was shocked about. I have a parakeet from pet smart I bought 3 years ago, and he still wont trust my hand, but my newest bird I purchased from them (Noodle) trusted me from day 1, and now my oldest is beginning to trust me. The rats are well handled and very calm, and the reptiles even more so. It's clean, doesn't smell at all whatsoever, and is a genuinely great place. I wouldn't shop anywhere else. In short, It's a wonderful place and I strongly reccomend it, even as a place to just calm down. Apologies for the long review, I wanted to say everything sooner than later!

The Customer Service at this store is remarkable. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Unlike some other stores where there is no one to be found - the store is also always very well staffed. Great selection of products and good prices. We have had extremely good luck with fish too even feeder fish for our pond lasting for years thanks to the original recommendation from the staff. Wonderful shopping experience and always a pleasure to return! Wish I could give them more stars!
