My family, dog and I visited Paulmac's today as we heard there was a special reptile viewing today. As we walked in, the staff greeted us immediately. They were very friendly and welcoming. I asked for help for a life jacket for my miniature dachshund and we got help and info from a knowledgeable staff member. I will definitely return!

The Eco-Pine Pellet Cat Litter is the worst I've seen. The pellets are broke up into small pieces making it easy to fall through the holes. I would say a good part of the bag was small pieces and dust. A very inferior product, don't waste your money.

My new favourite pet store. Not only was I greeted when I walked in, (It's like businesses forget how important this is) the two associates at the counter were so incredibly helpful! Not to mention, the spray I was looking for was right on the counter! Great place! Will be where I go from now on!

They always have very knowledgeable staff available, and they are always willing to help us pet parents out with almost anything (well, if they also had a vet present, I would be able to say they are able to help with everything, just wishful thinking... maybe one day.) In my personal opinion though...This is where you go shopping for your pet and pet needs. They also have a wonderful calming environment, and welcome pets to come into shop with you.

I've been to lots of different pet stores. I've also been let down almost as many times. This place has not disappointed yet. I continue to go back all the time due to the exceptional service. They have even began stocking a bag or two of the dog food I've special ordered in the past. That way when I'm out I just go right in and pick it up now. By far the most friendly and helpful staff of any pet store I've been to in a very long time.

I once watched a rodent nearly die there and I made a point of mentioning it to staff. I returned later to find out it had died. Staff doesn't care about their animals. I can speak directly about all of the staff, but at least the ones there that day.

Did not like the fact six guinea pigs were housed together and were clearly not handled. A pet that can be handled makes all the difference in a sale. I have dealt with guinea pigs for ten years. The piggies were fed and watered. They should not have that many cooped up in one space. I give them bonus points for cleanliness but having that many animals in one space could still potentially lead to disease and a whole host of other issues. I might get a fish there, or a bird perhaps but not guinea pigs. The local Simcoe one is much better than this.

The staff here are incredible, so knowledgable and great to get along with. Bob went above and beyond for us when picking out a hamster and some fish for our aquarium. He made our whole experience so much better. I would recommend going here over any chain pet store. The care and cleanliness of the cages, tanks and animals was so great to see. My boyfriend and I, were in there this afternoon, to purchase some driftwood for our fluval tank, and the associate there was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. He greeted us right away, assisted us with what we were looking for, gave us some information and suggested other alternatives as well. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name. But he provided us with 5 star service. I am happy with our purchase!
