We stopped by to grab hubby a new rod and some tackle for of all of us. WOW is all I can say. The gentlemen in the store were beyond wonderful. They were very helpful and knowledgeable!!! I would 100% recommend this store for all your fishing needs! They have a huge selection and you cannot beat that customer service!!!!! We will be back!

I went and purchased 2 dozen medium sized minnows today .. the gentleman advised me he threw in an extra dozen as some of them were dying. so i figured sure why not. To my frustration i got them home and 3 hours later i had a lousy 6 of the 3 dozen still living.. they were stored in a cool dark area. i called and the gentleman and he said "ya ive been having trouble with them... im losing 50 to 100lbs a week.." i asked him why he never told me that when i made the 30 min trek to him.. he had no answer and said best he could do is give me another 2 dozen to try.. like really.?? why so they can die again.. Dont sell them if your having trouble keeping them alive.. #SOFRUSTRATED. This use to be my go to... not so much anymore . I support smaller businesses for sure and i wanna kerp coming back thats for sure. he offered 2 free dozen to fix the situation. so ill try again. wish me luck.

I read a TON of positive reviews on FaceBook, figured I'd try the store out as I moved to Brantford a couple years ago and didn't have a main place to go yet. Matt helped me out, picking out the right bait and sharing some good spots to go with my kids. My wife and I find the staff super helpful, and Matt even was amazing explaining the differences between fishing rods and lures to my kids. I highly recommend this store to anybody who is looking for well priced gear, quality equipment, friendly and helpful staff, and lives in the area. It can't be beaten!

Matt the owner is a very experienced fisherman that knows exactly what you need support your local fishing stores you go to Canadian Tire and ask about a luer they know nothing H&H has the best live bait in town you don't want to get half dead worms from gas station or convenience store that have sat there for who-knows-how-long Matt packs worms constantly have bought worms there and had them live in my fridge for 2 months SUPPORT LOCAL!!!!!!

I came here last year to get some line put on my reel. The rig that was used was made from a bottle cap to hold The spool and eventually failed and essentially exploded and entangled my reel in line. It could have easily damaged my reel and the guy doing the work didn't seem to care. I personally won't come back to this store.
