The place is usually great, and MOST of the staff are amazingly kind people, but some of the younger women working there, are often ignorantly ridiculing customers in a very obvious way, and constantly having to wait for these same people to finish socializing with their friends until you can pick up your order or even make a request is pretty dissatisfying.

Everything was just ok. Things were over fried making them hard and a bit burnt tasting. Not impressed with the rotten lettuce put on my burger. Picked it off and tossed it. Prices were reasonable.

Just moved to town. Heard it was a great place. I ordered the pizza & wings. Wings were extremely burnt and no sauce on them. The pizza was disgusting. I've seen better frozen pizzas at a grocery store.

The food is awesome ! It's about time eagle place gets some sorta fast food going on! ... Only thing I've would say that could be worked on are the slices, they were awesome when you guys first opened but now they aren't the greatest. The crust is soooo thin and there's barely anything to it! So only complaint would be to fluff them slices up and no complaints I'd have! ????

Food is always great, fast, and hot even when we live 15 minutes out of town. We had an issue where our payment was charged twice (no ones fault, just a weird glitch) on our delivery order and was quickly refunded the same night even though I said no rush. Great customer service. Great food.

This place is delicious. The pizza is great n the fries etc are good too. They also have amazing things not sold everywhere like nacho bites cauliflower bites. The nacho bites are cheese surrounded with a coating of something that includes crushed nachos. Cauliflower bites are chunks of cauliflower covered with batter n deep fried. I eat mine dipping them in their amazing beef gravy. Ive also had their hot beef dinner which had huge chunks of roast beef n was a big dinner for around $10. I recommend this place 100%

we have had Gillies food several times and find it very good- They lose a star because I was the only customer in the store tonight wearing a mask. They did not tell people to wear a mask nor did I see any signs. This tells me they don't care about their customers or staff. It puts into question if they don't enforce the requirements of wearing a mask, is their food safety something to be concerned about? I will not be returning until after the pandemic, if at all.---EDIT:-thanks for your reply. I appreciate there are some people that are difficult to deal with and it is not fair to your staff. However, the majority of people are complying and by servicing these difficult people, you are risking losing your compliant customers. Consider offering curb-side if someone won't/can't wear a mask. This is not against human rights as long as you are providing an alternative way to service them. Until then, sadly I will not visit your business or any business that does not attempt to enforce use of masks.

Picked up a poutine and a pound of wings today after receiving a coupon in the mail. I called and placed an order and was able to get my food within 20 minutes. The portions are RIDICULOUS. The large poutine could easily feed 4 people. The chicken wings were generously sauced and well cooked. Excellent greasy junk food - just what I wanted! I will definitely be back to try more menu items (I saw some homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches that were chocolate chip cookies, filled with ice cream, rolled in reeses pieces - yes, please)! Give them a try - glad to support a neighborhood business.

Gillies is a great small restaurant/ice cream shop. It has little bit of everything and is much more than just a pizza shop. We have ordered many times and have yet to be disappointed. They even started "Family Sunday Dinner" with a quality family style meal at a very reasonable price available on Sunday, they've included a full roast beef dinner and homestyle porkchops to name a couple of the choices they have available. Portions are large and satisfying. The pizzas are amazing and their dessert treats are so yummy.

Great pizza and the worst pizza it all depends on who makes it. There is no quality control and you need to look in the window to see if you should order or go to next place. So apparently Gillies owner only accepts reviews that are positive. If you look at my reviews most will have constructive criticism based on my experience. My review of Robby's pizza and wings right next door is very positive. Sorry if every time my family came in we had a different experience. You should really ask why I had a different experience not complain that I stated it in a review

Service was ok. We had 4 lbs of mild wings and 1 lb of hot, french fries and onion rings. Mild wings were fantastic. Hot wings were not very good. The breading was falling off them, basic hot wing sauce nothing original. French fries are frozen shoestring fries and they were over cooked, rock hard. Good portion of them though. Onion rings are just your basic mccain frozen rings, meh. I would go back for the mild wings for sure

Been going to Gillies since they opened. We order from there 2-3 times a week my kid goes there all the time for lunch in the school year. I love that it’s a family owned buisness and they have an amazing selection of food and desserts!! The only thing I’m noticing over the last 2 weeks is that sometimes it seems to be rushed or maybe to many things are being done at once. The last 2 times I ordered the broccoli and cheese nuggets (which 99% of the time are AMAZING) they have been cooked to long they are dark and quite hard when normally they are nice and soft and a nice golden colour. Please please take a little more time on items cause I love you guys and don’t wanna lose one of my fav places to get munchie foods and quick dinners. Keep up the good work guys and thank you for always giving back to our community!!

I heard amazing things and had to give it a try. I'm thinking and hoping maybe I just ordered on the wrong day or ordered their less desirable items. I had to throw the pizza out. Crust was like cardboard and the actual pizza was under cooked. It was the pickle pizza and I was eating chunks of cold undercooked cheese. I threw it all out. And the wings were over fried. Like burnt fried with barely any sauce. Only edible thing from my order was the garlic bread and ice cream. The ice cream was amazing.

If you're looking for some different fried foods, unique pizzas or a good quality panzerotti/calzones this is the place to go. Been here a few times. My husband has gone for the more unique items like the pickle pizza. I went with a calzones and ended up having enough leftover for lunch.

I got the 4 meat burger and a Caesar salad came to like 17 bucks the burger patty was cheap grocery store bought processed garbage and the salad was covered with pizza cheese and bacon bits the salad wasnt even fresh it was warm mushie i just threw it out not impressed.

Ordered a taco bag and some wings, asked for the taco bag to be made second so it wasn’t cold , they made it first let it sit for 30 mins well making the wings , it was cold a gross and didn’t have sour cream. The wings were under cooked just ended up throwing it all away.

We ordered a panzarotti, loaded garlic bread and pickle pizza. The food was good! But I ordered at 2pm for a 6pm pick up and I waited 30 minutes. It was on a Wednesday which right now is designated as "Take Out Wednesday" at the moment so they were busy and they gave us a discount card and were very apologetic.

First time trying Gillies and expected better based on reviews. $15+ for a substandard grilled chicken caesar wrap and fries. The chicken was dry as dust and the fries were limp and soggy. Half of it went in the garbage.

Thank you for the food poisoning. Ordered here and thought it would be a great experience looking at the menu, but I was very wrong. 1) pogo was rock solid, completely burnt that it crunched like a burnt fry that was stuck at the bottom of the fryer. 2) battered mushrooms were not cooked all the way, I could taste raw batter. 3) fries were also burnt and has sugar on them. 4) Mac&cheese wedges for $6 and there was only 5 tiny pieces. 5 and most importantly) I AM NOW SICK. I’ve been vomiting for 3 hours now and may have to go to the hospital.

$40 for 2 large wedges and a large pizza. Each wedge was a 1/4 potato with no flavour in the batter whatsoever. Unless you like the flavour of a mouth full of dry mashed potatoes. Pizza was OK at best, no texture, like eating cold mozzarella sticks. We picked up as it's a local pizza joint but I have now learned a very expensive lesson. Never again.
