This is a good Farmer's Market but I've definitely been to better. The prices are all over the place and there is a lot of the same thing in terms of fresh produce but you almost have to go around and look at all the prices before you start buying. Everytime I've been, it's been kind of a chaotic, the parking lot is not awful and, add to that, the market has strange hours. It's more of a hassle than it is a pleasure--at least for me. I hate being in the city and this is in the heart of Brantford. The redeeming qualities are the local honey people and a few of the speciality vendors (like garlic).

Loads of parking. Produce and meats are always fresh. I have bought from supermarkets (I won't mention which one), the meats and fish went bad the next day. And yes it was in a very cold fridge. You won't regret buying anything here.

A fantastic spot for fresh local produce, meat, fish, cheese, dairy, baked treats, flowers, and handicrafts like handmade wooden items and crocheted accessories. Seasonal specialties like maple syrup and apple cider. Local honey and beeswax, handmade chocolate truffles, and my personal favorite, the Tipperary Bog cheese shop. Extra market stalls outside during the warmer months. Lots of parking. My only complaint is that I wish it were bigger!

I love going to the market and buying fresh local produce and locally crafted items. It can be pricey and in a lot of cases the supermarkets can be cheaper. I don’t blame the vendors as I suspect the City charges them an arm and leg in rent so it has to be passed on to the consumer .... which is too bad.

Update edit: Pick your own or be sure to monitor what is being chosen for you. During my last visit I trusted a fruit and vegetable vender to hand pick from the selection. Only to discovered the young lady had picked unsellable product from her selection. The Butcher, the Baker and I didn't see a Candlestick Maker. Fresh fruit, vegetables, local honey, maple syrup and I even treated myself to a fresh cup of coffee. Check it out

Great Market! You got to try Uncle dad’s pizza joint, 16 different flavours thin crust from Meat lovers to Veggie pizzas, they also have steak/chicken/turkey pies and Gluten free pizzas. Try their samples and you shall see. 4 pizzas for 25 bucks
