We were here early September. The staff were friendly but there was a bit of a delay in getting orders taken and drinks, our waitress did mention they were short staffed and places had just opened again so understandable. They have a good menu and quite a few options. Also have a large gluten free menu available which was great. We had calamari and dips for appetizers, fish and chips, fish tacos for our main. The gluten free tacos weren't great, the wrap fell apart and was like cardboard... so it appears the kitchen staff weren't aware you need to heat them prior to serving. The actual taco filling was quite nice and everyone else enjoyed the meal. I would go back and give them another chance if in the area again.

The food was good. The dill pickle soup didn't have enough spice or pickle to make it something to remember. The toasted soft bread came charred which was neat but didn't match the flavors on my sandwich. I had the beef dip which was presented beautifully. Next time ill have fish when I come to your place to find the wow.

After hearing so much about The Dock, I was expecting an interesting experience but I was disappointed at the slipshod attitude toward service. It almost seemed like it didn't matter whether I as a customer had a wonderful time. My server also talked to me with such a loud voice, it seemed as though she was talking so as to be heard by the entire room. I'll try again and hope for a better experience next time.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, no onions. Got my sandwich loaded with onions. The waitress was kind and very apologetic and got me a new one right away, but the sandwich was so spicy neither me or my husband could eat it. We were still made to pay for our meal, even though it was untouched.

I was on vacay in Canada and decided to stop here as it was close to my destination. The service was terrible and the food wasn't much better. It's like they could tell I'm American somehow and treated me worse for it. I did hear other patrons complaining as well so maybe it isn't about a bias, and this establishment just sucks. Just not a good experience. Won't be coming back under any circumstances, even if I move to this area.

Never had a bad meal, or bad service! Any little inconvenience they are on top of! My favorite is the dock burger, with beer battered fries, and pumpkin spice cookies for desert Edit: since covid hit (I also believe they hired a new head chef) I haven't had a decent meal here. My classic always tastes burnt and it overwhelms the burger. Alot of my favorites and my families favorites have been cut from the menu. The dock is no longer my go-to place which is a tad heartbreaking. Thanks for the memories!

It was OK my server was really friendly and good she brought our food rather quickly. But I order the Garlic Parmesan Chicken wings and they were not to my liking at all. It's like someone mummified my wings and put slices of cheese on them. Maybe if I had gotten a different type of food would have been better but definitely not a wing place

Any other time I've been it's been great, but my most recent visit was awful. We got there around 4:30, knowing that there was a concert in town that night and that they would be busy later on. We sat at a table in the bar with no reserved sign. After about 20 minutes with no service, we finally stopped someone who, a bit rudely, said she would be with us in a minute. We placed our drink order and were still waiting on them when we were told our table was reserved and we would have to sit at the bar because there were no other tables. We thought about going somewhere else, but we knew that, due to how long we had been here, if we did we would be late for the concert. The rest of the meal went fine, despite having to eat at the bar, but I'm still not impressed with the service we received beforehand.

I am not one to post about bad experiences, but I need to. I went there with a friend and we played pool on some of the worst conditions I have ever seen, but it is a bar so that is forgivable. The service however was not forgivable. When we arrived we did not see a server for approximately 20 minutes. We then decided to ask the bar for our order. All we wanted was a beer and some burbon. Instead of pouring the drinks they said they would send a server over. 20 more minutes passed and sadly we sobered up from our predrinking. We called over another server and ordered again. Still nothing for 20 minutes then they sent over another server. We placed our order again. Still nothing. We played 10 games of pool finished up and left without a single drink. I would not wish this infuriating service on my worst enemy. TLDR: nonexisting service. RUN!

This place is off the chain. Every single item on the menu is phenomenal. You could literally just tell the server to surprise you and you wouldn't be disappointed. Drink specials are deadly too. I had the Beef Dip, with onion rings. It was really tasty- the beef was well seasoned, tender and flavourful. The bun, and the au jus was lovely. My only two improvements would be to slice the beef more thinly so that it isn't just one piece, and not cook the crispy onions quite so long (a little harder than was fun to eat). The atmosphere was nice, clean and they did their due diligence to check vax status. Will 100% be back while in town.

I love the food here sooooo much. They have a seasonally rotating menu that is always great. Only time I've been dissappointed was one time I got the chicken pot pie. And the only thing I was dissapointed about was there was too much sauce. So one time in going once a week for years, so that is a pretty good record!

To me the beer has to be ice cold, the beer here was so warm it made it taste funny. The dock burger was so full of filler that you couldn't taste the ground beef. The jalapeño cheese sause for there chips and dip app was so watered down that it would not stay on the chips and it was tasteless. The service was slow and the young girl could not be bothered to ask if we wanted refills with what we we're drinking.

First time here for my husband and myself, we came in yesterday for a lunch and sat inside. The place is very clean and has a nice quiet atmosphere. This old building is beautiful, we loved all the décor, but especially the unique 6ish inch thick long table! Our food arrived quickly, our waitress was very friendly and attentive, checking back a couple more times to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything more. The menu selection was very good and the prices are decent. We had the crispy calamari, crab stuffed mushrooms and sweet potato fries, and everything was good and hot and great tasting. We really enjoyed our relaxing lunch here and want to try many more interesting items featured in the menu, so we definitely will be back again when next in Brandon.

We visited the Dock for our friends anniversary. They were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions which we were very appreciative of. This Restaurant has a great in house menu freshly made with local ingredients. You can always find your favorites and usually something that changes with the seasons. If you are so inclined you can play a game of pool. Always great at the Dock!

Had high hopes but was disappointed by slow service. Took 30 minutes for us to be able to place an order. Ordered wings that came under sauced and way overcooked. We tried to convey this to the server who smiled and nodded and walked away. The beer selection was mediocre at best and did not really feature any local beers. For all the hype this was a major let down.

Was excited to try this restaurant based on all the great reviews, but we were very underwhelmed. The wait staff was friendly and helpful but we waited a long time to get a cold burger and a cold sandwich. The flavour of the burger was great, so it had potential. The two salads were uninspired and one had a dressing that might have been rancid. The other was underdressed. The sign on the wall requested that we tell the restaurant if we weren't happy with the food, but our meal was done before we had the chance. Perhaps the gears are rusty and the kitchen was overwhelmed after a covid slowdown, but then so many people shouldn't have been seated at once. Disappointing after reading other positive reviews.

The Birria Burger was a tasty, creative spin on the popular tacos! Although the side of Coconut Onion Rings were adequate, I expected a larger portion given the price. The Half Chipotle Caesar Salad was a good size to split between two people for another side; it came with lots of real bacon chunks and shaved parmesan cheese (as well as the delicious smokey dressing and house made croutons).

My husband and I dined at The Dock on February 26/21. Niki was our main server and she was wonderful! She recommended a Manitoba Mule and I loved it ( it’s made with Crown Royal rather than vodka )????. We had the fish tacos and fish and chips. The amount of fries was smaller than we’re used to seeing today but it was what a serving probably should be. It was perfect for him. We will definitely be back and so happy to support a local rather than a chain restaurant! Thanks for the great experience!

While still my favorite restaurant in Brandon (Dock burgers are the best!) Service has been slipping. Last visit we ate our entire meal without beverages as the refills we requested prior to food arriving did not arrive until after plates were cleared. Empty glasses has been a recurring issue through last 3 or 4 visits.

Recommend the brisket if you have a chance order it, you wont be disappointed by it! The Guinness nachos are equally as delicious. I have not had dessert but I am sure that they are also quite good.

Checked on trip advisor for restarants in Brandon Man.None in our party of 4 had been here before so thought we,d try. We were all very satisfied with our server Thomas who chit chatted about his life and dreams, good luck in your future. The food arrived quickly , salads were very generous , portions were more than ample by at least 2 bites . To Finnish the meal we had the DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE !!!!!!!! Hot Dame just what we needed to end a better than average basic chicken fingers and salad x 2, and chicken queadilla x 2 Was somewhere we would definitely return to.

I like the app/ pub food style but the menu has changed and some things I used to order aren’t available. The meal kits are a fantastic idea though. Meals can be hit and miss too. Sometimes it’s good and other times my food is burnt and they still send out the food like that.. *Their ordering system could be improved though. I had placed an order and scheduled a time to pick up and I was there at that time but it took them 20+ minutes to bring my order out. I kept seeing them bringing other customer's their orders and multiple people left in much shorter times. Even after calling twice, they couldn't figure it out. It was a very annoying waste of time.

First time going to The Dock !! Great place overall. Our server Niki (5 yr vertan Dock server) was very good. She recommended the Confusion of Fries(I am a serious fry lover) and the Burnt Ends were yummy. We played pool while we ate. Great place to eat, relax and enjoy some pool. We will definately be back. The food was okay but not great. Servers were also ok but not great. I did feel like this business took all necessary precautions amid the pandemic. The servers wore masks and the tables were set up to allow for social distancing and hand sanitizer at the door. If I could give another half star I would.
