LOVE THIS STORE! We don't even stop for meals at restaurants any more when we have sports events in Brandon - the boys just want to go to Sobeys Extra! I love the selection, the product quality and the flower section is AMAZING!

Fancy store, very huge selection of items, pharmacy is at hand too and stuff for our fur babies is in there too(selection is not that big). Is a bit price but they have deal going every day so check the flyers every time you enter.very clean, folks are very courteous and if you love coffee Starbucks is at the exit.

Sobeys can also boast of having the cheapest and the best produce in the whole of Brandon. The cashiers are very friendly and committed. It's always a nice experience to shop at Sobeys Extra.

Decent prices but found it to be unorganized and once i was able to find a staff member for help he went looking in the back and never saw him again till i was already paying i saw him leak out the back doors and then gone again lol guess he didn't find what i wanted. Surprising that there is a shelf space for 24 packs of coke but can only fit 1 maybe 2 at most and no displays or pallets and staff usually tells me they don't have any hardest place ever to get a 24 of coke

I was impressed at being able to find such a wide variety of Vegan supplies and beverages and Califia Nog. I didn't have to break the bank just for vitamins and groceries. Thank you! I was able to pass the good words to Singer/Songwriter Richard Marx and Daisy Fuentes Marx who help in spreading the word of the Vegan lifestyle in their Tequila Talk podcast. Richard was looking discussing missing a Charcouterie board of cheese and wine. Their is plant based cheeses that have become just as delicious like Okanagan's Soya Cheddar loaf. I went to Sobeys South today on Dec 23 around noon to pick up some final things before company comes for Christmas. Every employee I encountered today was absolutely fabulous. From the lady at the cheese counter who over heard me and pointed me in the right direction, to the man I asked where to find ice. The one who blew me away was the gentleman working on till 3. I didn't catch his name but not only did he go and grab my ice for me but he knew my bag of groceries was extremely heavy as I bring my own bag and it's quite large so it can hold a lot. My fiancé was standing right there but he grabbed our bag and walked around his till just to put it in my cart when he very easily could have handed it over. Thank you everyone for your amazing service today, especially so close to Christmas!

One of the better places in Brandon to do your grocery shopping. Clean, updated, well stocked departments. The produce and deli departments are fabulous. Has a Starbucks in store and is right next to the mall.

Cashiers need to stop visiting so much with customers if they have to stop putting through groceries every time they talk. Someone needs to train these people properly, especially the gal at customer service who continually interrupts when a person tries to speak about an issue...which has happened on more than one occasion. That is NOT customer service. If she can't listen, she shouldn't be in Customer Service. I quit shopping here for over a year because of poor management. I see nothing has changed.

The one door access point to the store is poorly design for peak shopping time. It provides barely enough space for people to come in and out of the door with the cart at the same time. The check out area with the plastic bag turnstile does not promote reusable bags. It makes bagging your own grocery very awkward. So far, 90% of the cashiers I interacted with were unfriendly to the point where I would even say they were rude. There is customer service training that needs to happen.

I am very pleased with the variety and quality of products. The aisle are well organized and neat. The stuff is respectful and nice. They offer free samples to try, like fruits and sushi, which give the opportunity to taste it and see if like it. Also, there is an Starbucks there. I do recommend to check for deals, because if not, the products can be a little bit expensive for some budgets.
