I have been looking for a shawarma place that was as good as Village Donair in Osborne Village or as good as Baraka was when they had the “sweet sauce” for years and finally found it in Brandon!!!! So awesome! And dude....they have a buffet?!?! Yessss!

Absolutely, mind-blowing, incredible tender chicken shawarma wrap. I had the works of toppings (minus hot peppers) with garlic and hot sauce and it was incredible. Nice earthy and deep spices to compliment the chicken that was then accompanied with baklava that had a great crunch and not too gooey. I plan on coming back many more times.

This place is amazing! What it seems a little hole on the wall is actually a small cozy restaurant with delicious food. My buddy and I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate and the Falafel Plate and we shared the food. We devoured the whole thing. Both dishes were delicious, The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. We finish it off with a homemade Baklava.... I loved it!! We left stuffed to the max for about $35 bucks for both of us. Can’t beat that!

Really flavorful food. I got the beef/chicken kebab and the mixture of spices was very enjoyable. Didn't take long, and they were friendly and asking for feedback. I am looking forward to eating here more often! Update: they just started with lunch and dinner buffet and it is fantastic! Absolutely recommend it, I will be back many times.

We had a falafel sandwich and a donair sandwich. They were both delicious with the tzatziki sauce and the full array of fresh and pickled vegetables. However we were disappointed with the tabouli salad. The serving size for the large was about the same as a small at other restaurants offering tabouli and it was thin on flavour. Not bad not something to get excited. The chicken shawarma is awesome and the large size feeds two people! Go for the shawarmas or the wraps is our recommendation.

This place is AMAZING! My boyfriend and I ordered the double beef donair combo, dolmadas,fallafal, greek salad and two kids beef donair combos and it was all great quality and flavor. The portion sizes are very good value and the food is obviously made with care. The owner Kyle was very friendly and the restaurant is right off of Victoria so it is easy to find. I highly recommend you try this place and know that if you do you will Love it like we do!

Tonight was my second visit to Shawarma Queen and yet again I was met with happy and patient employees. An excellent meal both times and very fast service! My first time I had a mixed plate of chicken and beef over rice with potatoes and Greek salad and tonight I tried falafel for the first time! It was delicious! I was working in Brandon for a week and this place was so good that I went every single day! I would go at lunch and buy a lrg donair with double meat. It was enough food for my lunch and dinner. Food was amazing, service was amazing and the restaurant was clean! The owner even recognized me from when I was there a year ago! Highly recommend this place! You will not be disappointed!

I am changing my review because my friend ordered food and chicken was old, uncooked and brown from inside (instead of white like fresh or properly stored chicken, as you can see in the picture. Today I went to pick up a order for delivery and he started humiliating me in front of other customers and refused to give order. Because somehow I am responsible for my friends review regarding his order. Instead of apologizing for bad food he wanted him to delete the review but thats not going to happen. Please save yourself from unhygienic and expensive food and worst customer service ever.

Figure your $&$@ out. Why are you letting people order online through a delivery service and not fulfilling orders? I ordered for delivery, waited a hour and then found out they wouldn’t make the order for door dash. I now deal with door dash to get my money back? I called shawarma and they treated me like I was only a customer of door dash and it wasn’t their problem. EDIT BASED ON RESPONSE: See response below, they clearly do not care about their customers. You were open and you just choose to not serve the door dash customers. If you're too busy to help all your customers I guess people should be ordering from other places that need the money.

I've never seen shawarma made this way, with meat from a crock pot... Food was just ok, and it's expensive all things considered. The setup of the place is also interesting and not really conducive to quick, efficient service. It kind of looks like they opened before they were ready with temporary equipment.

Gross. Rice is bland, chicken is extremely fatty and not grilled like normal shawarma, salad was extremely soggy (the few pieces of lettuce and veghies that we did get, had obviously been sitting there all day, premixed), potato and sauce and portions are also tiny. It's ridiculously overpriced. $18 for one meal. We tried our food, then threw it out. Do not recommend. If you've had real shawarma or even if you haven't, you'll be disappointed. And now I have a stomach ache, not sure if it's from the chicken, or the salad that I'm sure was full of bacteria from sitting out in the warm kitchen all day.

Super awesome food! The roasted potatoes were sooooooo good and the naan bread was amazing! The waitresses were super friendly and explained the entire menu to us as we’d mentioned it was our first time there. They did mess up my order, and the wait time was a little long considering it wasn’t crazy busy, but they remade my wrap and brought an extra portion of potatoes to keep me busy :) the owner was very interested in what we thought of the food and we told him we loved it! Definitely will be going back! Really good price too! The regular sized chicken shawarma was really big, and way cheaper than at any other pita place in town!

It's a bit too soon to give a fair review since the place has only been open for a couple weeks. Let them work out the kinks; this place has potential. Good variety of Mediterranean dishes, very tasty, reasonably priced. Though there was an hour-long wait, the staff was so kind to constantly update on the status of the order. Not a big deal, but the only thing that bothered me was the freshly painted tacky tables I will return someday!

I have tried multiple middle eastern restaurants around Canada, but was very disappointed after trying multiple items here. Their food doesn't taste like middle eastern food specifically kabob . Ended up ordering too many fries coz with the mask on fries and rice sound the same..lol. but now we have enough for a 2am snack for our drive. So all good... cutest interior ever! Washroom was clean too. Friendly staff. I think there are a couple of things this restaurant could do to easily improve to a 4 or possibly even a 5 star rating in my opinion. The staff were very friendly, but seemed under staffed. Quite honestly, I get food from Shawarma Queen every single time I'm in Brandon. The food is always up to very highest quality standards, and for a very fair price considering the serving sizes. Come hungry, because you will be leaving full and very happy. ????????

Twice I have tried to order and had a bad experience. 1.5 hours after ordering food online; I found out I couldn’t get my prepaid order. Shawarma Queen was not responding to door dash or closed early. Very frustrating.

Went there after work about 4pm for a take out regular Falafel Wrap. I added tabouleh to my wrap for .50. The toppings looked fresh, she put on fresh gloves, inside the falafel comes with 4 puck shaped pieces which was nice and just the right amount. Naan was nice soft texture would be nicer I'd it were warmed up. Girl at the wrap station was super nice as we chit chatted a bit, little slow but also didn't seem to have been given much direction obviously not her fault. The way it was made was nice although if I were making it myself I'd have stacked the order differently (sauce, added salad, falafel, toppings) but that's not a big deal. One thing I'd say is she didn't ask if I wanted banana peppers on it, which I was on the fence about this time, and just put them on but didn't say anything because I'll eat it anyway. Got home and tried the falafel piece by itself. Great flavour! Not too dry, crispy or greasy! Wasnt warm, or hot, but Nice recipe very well done. Also the sauce was really tasty I think I found like lemon flavor in it, refreshing, and the tabouleh was really good could definitely taste the mint. All in all Flavors are great! In my opinion only needs help with warm up and stack technique. Everything else will hopefully be refined with time ????.

The Beef Donair has tasty, tender meat - and lots of it. Customers choose their bread, toppings, and sauce. The pickled turnips were such a treat that I'd buy them for a side dish if I could. I also recommend the Homemade Baklava, but get there early before they sell out! I like the generous portions, consistent quality, and fast, friendly service with the food brought to our vehicle. Thank you for bringing donair to Brandon! Edit: I just tried the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and WOW! The tender meat is perfectly marinated to offer a ton of flavour and a bit of heat. Combined with the tzatziki and the hot sauces, it was an experience I won't soon forget. Love this restaurant and will be back for more!

Tried it out for lunch and pretty impressed! Reasonably priced buffet that includes a drink and ordering on menu items all in one price. Not the fastest, but not super slow either, give yourself a full hour here for sure if you want to sit down to eat. Pretty busy and staff was very friendly! Brandon needs more places like this especially downtown, give it a try if you haven't yet!

It's a ok place. As people don't have much halal option available in Brandon so this is the only good option. As compared to other shawarma or kabob places I have been to, this place not even close to authenticity. Meat was blend and dry. The tahini sauce was thick solid and had to ask separately to have it. I guess majority of their customers are locals so probably they don't know and have no other place to compare this place.

The absolute best donair around! I've tried the shawarma, too, but keep coming back to donair - it's just so good. If you're looking for an East Coast style donair in Brandon with the garlicky sweet sauce, this is the best place to go. Staff are always super friendly every time I visit, too. And the portion sizes are excellent.
