Your Friendly Neighborhood Giraffe

It's a bit pricier than most places but that's cause everything is free trade but also incredibly delicious. The staff is always wonderful and kind and I have coffee here everytime someone asks to hang out. The atmosphere is beautiful it's so peaceful even with lots of people in it. They have a beautiful fireplace I enjoy sitting by and writing. I also go and do homework here sometimes!

Great decor. It has a lovely fireplace to sit by. Sandwiches were yummy, and unlike a lot of coffee shops, food and drinks are brought to your table. Comfortable booth sitting. Delicious free trade coffee. Great for a meet up with friends. Wifi.

Not bad at all coffee was very good ao was the ambience. Nice place to relax and have a hot beverage on a day. Customer service was pretty neat too, Also if you worried about parking dont be I found abundance of parking and very close proximity to the door. I would go back there good Job guys.

Came at 10 minutes to 7pm. Was told I can't get anything made, just old coffee from a carafe or all day pastries. It's Tuesday, at 650pm...can't get a latte or nothing.

Nice ambiance with lots of comfortable seating - big booths along the perimeter. Small outdoor patio. Typical pricing for a coffee shop these days. Would recommend.

Love the casual atmosphere. We were a family of 5 wanting to sit and the large tables were taken by 1 person and a laptop. We waited for a table but the service was wonderful. They explained some of the combinations of coffee to us. Had a good gluten free cookie which was surprising.

It is barely okay here, if you want snobby bitter coffee with no free refills. The fair trade organic resembles dishwater and the dark roast is bitter and overperked. The food that puts on airs of panini press pretentiousness. The chicken margarita wrap is oversimplified with no substance or taste. Marinate the meat or something. The Turkey Avacado ciabatta is passable but small for the price. At least the WiFi is free. A McChicken has more substance than most of their sandwiches and a third of price. The soups are overcooked canned Campbell's. Don't even bother with combo meals unless you want a third of cup of soup or salad. The saving grace is the salads, but it is somewhat difficult to mess that up. For the prices you pay, I'd expect a little more imagination. Go to Tim Hortons next time and save a few bucks, more to choose from, the food is more consistent and you get more value for your buck.

Good decoration with darker settings and large tables to sit. Usually lots of people visit this place, so it might get little loud sometime. Food is good for the price, and staffs are friendly. Also, their service is good. In general, good place to hangout with friends.

Isn't a better place for a soup and sammich. The baking is on par with Souris bakery! Smoothie was better than expected with a good size. Always full always busy but not uncomfortable.

Coffee Culture is a great place to sit and connect with people. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is nostalgic. They now have dividers between booths making it a great place to connect or simply read a book.

I had a club house, which is one of my favs. A lot of their stuff is made fresh in their kitchen *when you order*. It's way better than your chain coffee shops without a doubt. A little pricey - but worth it.

Service is a bit more of a "relaxed pace" with a tendency towards waiting for your order to be brought out to you. We were able to finish our food before the drinks were ever even made let alone brought out. Thinking its by design as the environment lends itself to sitting and chatting or studying for extended periods of time.

The look and appeal might be something to look at and is maybe one of the better qualities of this establishment. I say from experience and being previously employed here that "things are not as them seem". First the management is not great, they treat the employees unethically. The food is good dont get me wrong but i could go to a local bakery and get a fresh made/from scratch baked good and it cost me half as much as what they are charging. When all the baked good are premade and frozen and thrown in the oven and "freshly baked". They lack variety in a lot of their sandwiches/salads and its constantly a continuous rotation of the same sanwiches/salads/drinks, being featured. They need to step it up, if they want to compete with Starbucks or Forbidden Flavours. I enjoyed working with the other employees and made a few great friends, but there are a few instances where employees were fired without cause and for the employers own personal vendettas and grudges, the original owner in particular was Bi-polar to say the least...I almost quit numerous times because she was so hard to work with. Also, be prepared to rarely get a raise and for people that are friends/family with the employer to get a higher wage than you....you may have worked there for 2+ years and get paid $14 and they will hire a relative and pay them $18 and have to demote a supervisor because they "cant afford to pay them their supervisor wage of $16/hr" which is completely unfair and unethical. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anyone to work there, unless a better new management took over but their food/drinks are good, just be prepared to pay a pretty penny.
