Such good items available here! The cookies are amazingly good, especially the one with chocolate chips and caramel. My only sad complaint is drinking coffee grounds ???? I'm sure some are into that, but was not expecting it! Their coffee is just ok, and it's nice they use compostable/recyclable plastic, but their bakery items are super good, would definitely go there again and recommend to others for their baking.

Lovely place! The desserts are divine. Only complaint might be the super limited food menu - then again, it's bakery first cafe second. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal I ordered and I was quite happy to see almond milk as an option for the hot drinks menu. Will definitely be frequenting this place again in the future.

Was really excited fur my first visit to have some treats and a coffee on my break .. walked over and was ready to pay and wasn’t able to as they ONLY accept tap feature.. I get wanting to be high tech, but that is ridiculous.. I have my tap features disabled for security and the fact that I was told to walk to the bank... a bit disappointed.

Good food. Baking and items can be seen in production in the kitchen which lends itself to cleanliness and fast service. Drinks somewhat lacking in originality and variety, and service can often be catered to specific community benefactors in favour of great service to all.

We had decided for our wedding to ask Chez Angela if they could do our cake. Everything was handled smoothly even through covid times. November 2020. Today was the day! Chez Angela tucked in downtown Brandon, me...downtown Brandon! I’ve been following online this bakery for some time and glad I made the stop! Lunch was magnifique!!! Ooey gooey grilled cheese on sourdough - finished off with a slice of sweet goodness - butterscotch praline pie! Oh la la!Thanks for what you do! Food & service both...top notch! ***UPDATE: July 2021 was a second visit to Chez Angela! AND. I was even more impressed than fabulous first visit! This second visit I treated myself with lunch - BLT on sourdough...deeeeelicious, best BLT I have ever had!!!! And for dessert - a decadent chocolatey chocolate cake! Scrumptious!!! I was so impressed, I bought the company...err, bought a t-shirt! ???? I look forward to a future third visit! Excellent food, super friendly staff! Chez Angela Bakery & Cafè is my most-est, favourite-est dining spot in all of Brandon! ???? Worth a day trip from Winnipeg!!! ???? Kudos & Brava to this lovely Café ????

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! Just recently got married and had Chez Angela make our wedding cake. HUGE MISTAKE The presentation looked like something a child would do. It looked nothing like the cake I ordered even though I emailed a picture of the cake we wanted. The colors were not even right. I ordered navy and coral but got royal and peach The chocolate ganache was hard and the cake crumbled so bad tha I couldn't even slice it. Very bad experience

Always a great experience and always amazing food! Nothing beats a nice local fresh sourdough, a order of their pain-au-chocolates and my favourite cheddar garlic biscuits. They offer a nice selection of dinners to take home which are great when I just don't feel like cooking. A gem in downtown Brandon. 10/10 recommend.

The sandwich, salad, and cookie combo was a light, satisfying lunch. I had The 29C on the Baguette Parisienne. It was flavourful and I would order this again! The Caesar Salad was delicious with the crunchy croutons and lots of bacon. I love the emphasis on community and local ingredients at this bakery. The Pain au Chocolat is fantastic, but I suggest pre-ordering or ordering early before they sell out!

Chez Angela serves phenomenal food and patries using fresh local sourced ingredients. It’s a truly awesome business, as everyone else leaving a review here seems to agree with. I purchase baked goods every Friday for my staff members and they are always looking forward to it. I am a serving Canadian armed forces officer and have proudly served Canada for the last 17 years. My spouse was hired by Chez Angela as a pastry chef through a Skype interview when she was 5 months pregnant from two provinces away due to military postings. My family has been supported by Chez Angela’s owners every single time I had to go overseas or on taskings across Canada on short notice, which happens quite frequently due to my occupation and specific qualifications within the Canadian armed forces. I would strongly advise readers to disregard any other review indicating that the business is not supportive of serving military members (and their families) and other first responders of the Brandon community, as this is simply lies and a very poorly executed smearing attempt. Oh, and if you show up in uniform, you get a free coffee!

Someone recommended this place to and I'mgladthey did. I needed lunch today as I'm in town visiting. So I went to grab lunch there today. I was greeted enthusiastically right away and was very pleased with the beautiful display of baked goodies. Everything looked great and the smell was wonderful! I ordered the beef baguette sandwich with a side salad and it was divine. Good to the last bite! I also bought a piece of chocolate cheese cake and wow ...amazing ????! I received a free baguette and a cookie for being there for my first time. Nice touch! Great service and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place! I will be back!

This is a must stop in Brandon. I haven't had anything, either food or drink, that isn't incredible here. Everything is marketed as from scratch and fresh and the taste backs it up 100%. If you just prefer a straight ahead coffee and nothing fu-fu, Chez Angela has some of, if not the best drip coffee in Brandon. This is a can't miss stop.

This café is wonderful. It was well-worth the [short] wait in line and for a place to sit. The coffee had great flavour, every pastry and cookie we tried tasted delicious, and the atmosphere seemed clean and pleasant. Prices are very reasonable. I love that you can take food to go (also purchasing loaves or baguettes) or you can sit and enjoy the café. We came at a busy time; both parking and seating were not easy to find. Those are the two things I would change, but that "problem" only shows how many people love this place. =) I will be back!

A small group of us met at Chez Angela's for supper...then off to see local talent, Route 10 Collective, at the WMCA. We all ordered something different...soups, sandwiches, quiche and pizzas. Everyone enjoyed their order. The tomato-basil soup was really flavorful, the sandwiches, quiche and pizzas were tasty. The desserts were wonderful too. Service was friendly and fast. Would do that again for sure. Thank you.
