One of the worst place to get your fishes. They will take you for a ride if your new into fishes and aquarium. They charged me 3 times the normal price for very bad fishes. They did not advise me how to initially set up or the importance of allowing the water to season in the tank before adding fishes. BE AWARE.

They were very friendly, and all advice was genuine and coming from all their experience with this hobby. They are very passionate, and are there to answer all your questions. Amazing aquarium store! All the tanks are so clean and the owners are very knowledgeable. They're always able to answer my questions better than staff at big box stores and you can tell they are passionate about the fish keeping hobby. I will for sure be going to this store first for any aquarium needs.

Nice little neighbourhood pet shop. Lot's of fish to choose from. However, having been to pretty much every pet store in the GTA, multiple times, I noticed their prices are a little over the top. Other than that, owners are nice and polite, and helpful when it comes to fish. Update: Our offer was $500 plus 6 canaries (You sell your male canaries $88 plus tax and claim they are good singers but the yellow one you currently have never sang once, and I spent multiple hours in your store) as a trade which seems fair for a 3 year old female ringneck that's not hand tamed, has depression and anxiety, doesn't come out of the cage without flying around the store, and bites... I gave you a pretty reasonable offer. However, I was not talking about the bird, I was talking about the cages you have for $33.99 plus tax which are sold for $10 at other small pet shops in Brampton. Either way, good luck with Alex. Update 2: The point of online reviewing is so that real customers can share their real experiences and stories so that potential future customers can get a real sense of the store before they visit the store to avoid surprises. I am sharing a real story with real concerns, with a respectful tone so that you can consider my opinion and improve your family run business. Anybody can get a few relatives and friends to leave a couple of general comments such as "this pet shop is amazing" or "it's a family run business" or "they have nice fish" etc. Any store can score a bunch of 5 stars from their friends and try to look good online. Usually real customers who intend to spend a good amount of $ go online and read real comments and experiences of previous customers and to get a better idea about their options. Thank you again for the pair of American canaries, although they were over priced but the male has a nice song and the female looks pretty and healthy. Update: and for the record you were trying to sell your sick parrot for 1000 $ and told me I will never find like her again. Well i contacted a few breeders and will get may hands on two beautiful babies soon. so on top of being clueless about birds you also lie ad deceive. Such a beatiful family run buisiness. You can tell the only good comments are done by your aunty, your cousins and that homelsee dude that keep bringing his stinky coffee to the animal store oh and while i was there someone brought you a dead gecko for which u hd so amazing excuses. Nice little friendly place. I much prefer to give places like this (family owned business) my business rather than the big chain/department type stores. These guys know the product well and will gladly take as much time talking to you as you need/want. Prices are very reasonable to boot! And if they don't have something in stock they will get it or at the very least help you find where to get it.

Great people, great selections. Shop is smaller than what I expected, but the fish offered were unique compared to what I’ve seen at large aquarium stores so it was absolutely worth the trip out. Bettas were unlike anything I’d seen before, and we found some unique community freshwater fish to add to our tank. Owners are lovely and knowledgeable about their craft without being overbearing. Would recommend and will be returning!

Bought 3 guppies (6$ a pop) and 2 of them are already swimming upside down, and it's only been 48 hrs. Should have taken into consideration the dead fishes in the tanks during the time of purchase. Most likely won't be going there again

I went to two other pet stores first. No one could help me. I Googled aquarium stores near me and found this Gem of a store called wild fish aquarium! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted promptly by a lovely couple who must be the owners. They were not only very knowledgeable but also very helpful and friendly! I felt like I was amongst family! Not to mention the super cute bunny who is the owners pet. I finally found the right food for my fishes and will continue to shop at this amazing store! So glad I went there!

Loved my experience here! Super friendly staff with all COVID measures in place ensures a very safe environment. Brandon helped me with my recent Betta purchase; what a knowledgeable and friendly guy! I visited with 20 minutes left before close and I was STILL invited into the staging area to discuss my next purchases! They will refund your FISH if you're at all unhappy with them...who does that?! I will be back and so too, will any of my Betta-loving friends!

They are an okay store just the prices are so high for fish that arent worth that much such as melanochromis auratus is a fish i have trouble giving away free the prices there are insane. Birds should not be bought from pet stores, when you can get them pvt breeders for way less so i dont know why someone was complaining about bird prices tbh. IF you want a bird go online or a rescue, 85 percent of people dont want the parrot when they realize the work involved. But I do agree they do rip you off if they get a chance like mississauga aquarium. Places like finatics dont do that.

Smaller shop but the staff was very helpful. We had an issue with matching the proper light for our aquarium hood light. We had spent the day contacting manufactures and distributors for replacement parts. Staff was able to identify the one needed and allowed us to test prior to purchasing. Good customer service and had parts needed on hand.

Although the store is smaller then expected, they still had a huge variety of fish. They had a huge selection of betta fish. Their customer service was excellent, and offered really helpful tips and advice that I was unable to get at any big box pet store. I would highly recommend this store if you are first timers are like me or looking for a huge variety of unique fishes. They had a huge variety of betta fishes.
