Absolutely delicious! I've been here a few times, and they have never failed to produce. The fish was golden tender and juicy, the chips were crisp. Buttered mushrooms scrumptious and juicy. The steak and kidney pie delectable. it's immediately obvious that the oil is scrupulously clean. And they also have a great special between 11:00 and 3:00

They serve a wide variety of English and Scottish food. The portions are generous. We had paddock and cod with fritters and side orders of coleslaw and chowder. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Soft drinks are refillable.

They have daily fish & chip lunch specials that are a great value. You will not leave this place hungry! Recently they added Cheesecake Factory cheesecake to their dessert menus. The Dutch Apple cheesecake is heavenly.

After leaving Uk and missing British style Fish n Chips..we have been to a few Heritage chip shops but this one nailed it as if we were back home in England - Peter n Effy plus Christina were absolutely welcoming and excellent service. I highly recommend anyone looking for great service and best tasting British style thick cut chips..you must come here, as they won us over, and we will be regulars for sure - it is so worth the drive!!

The concentration is mostly on the traditional fish and chips which are AMAZING. I always got 2 pieces of fish with a lot of fries. Good job! Love it, and have recommended it to my friends.

Fantastic food served in LARGE portions. The fish was both soft and flaky, the fries were the perfect size and the creamy coleslaw was perfectly sweet! I just wish they had bottles of tartar sauce instead of the little packets, we ended up going through SO many. Also, the service was a little slow once the food came but we went during the dinner rush so it was totally understandable. Will definitely recommend to others and return myself!

But the halibut is a premium fish with a premium price and I was really disappointed. I gave 3 stars because the haddock was good on previous occasions.

Since the start of the pandemic we've ordered fish and chips take out from this restaurant. They make the best haddock fish and chips, also the prices are reasonable, especially the weekday lunch special. I can't wait till their dine in opens! To the staff continue making amazing food and I hope you continue to get more customers. Everyone at the front are friendly and even when I was short by a few cents the lady at the front gave a discount for paying in cash. Thank you ????

Living in Brampton I feel that 85% of the food around you is either a McDonald's, Tim Hortins or pizza pizza with hardly any seafood options. Came here for a birthday celebration. The restaurant was packed with only one server who was doing her best to service all of her customers. There was a mixnup with our order which she didnt seem to want to rectify but she ended up fixing it and making up for it. Food tasted good. Would recommend the deep fried pickles. I'd be back, but wont rush back.

Please note to add sweet potato fries you pay additional $5. Nobody was bothered about the refills, the staff would hardly listen to us. First and the last visit.

I ordered dish and chips thinking this place was going to be great based on all the positive reviews, and I was greatly disappointed! The fish was so dry it was almost inedible. Too expensive for Good Friday . $20 for greasy halibut and soggy fries. Not worth it. First time having this and so bad. No side dishes available. I called few days before and no one said they only served 2 kinds of fish and only fries on Good Friday. No pre ordering either. Failed to mention that as well. Poor customer service. I had to feed 10 people and was so embarrassed. Never going there again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Service was excellent. The waitresses were very polite and friendly. The food arrived quickly. I had the halibut ($15 fish only), the fries ($3) and the dinner upgrade ($5) which included a fountain soft drink ($1 extra if you want refills), 2 slices of Scottish bread and butter and one side from a list of choices that included mushy peas, cole slaw, beets, pickled onions or beans. I chose the creamy cole slaw. The portion sizes are very large. I couldn't finish my bread, coleslaw or fries (and I eat quite a bit). The fountain sized pop was also large. The food was very good. The fish was a little bit tough to cut through and was thin but tasted good all the same. It's not the same quality as Olde Yorke Fish and Chips in Toronto although I haven't ever found a place that compares to that. For two of us to have the halibut, chips and dinner upgrade came to nearly $52 plus tip. No complaints. I'd eat here again.

Dollar for dollar best fried fish money can buy. Their batter recipe is perfect. Fries are exactly what you would expect from a fish and chips resturant. Their sides are great tasting and they offer many options. I have never been dissatisfied with any of their locations. They do a great job as a franchise to keep things consistent. And the owner Lackey (so sorry if I botched the spelling) is a super nice dude. Keep up the great work.

I usually go to one of the locations for lunch and it does not disappoint; Leaving full every time. Service is nice and friendly at both locations in brampton and food is brought out in a timely manner depending on the size of the group.

Great haddock, they offer a lunch deal from 11-3 that is around $7 for two pieces of fish and fries....they are very generous with the portion size. Always a go to place during lunch.

Why do people give this place a good rating? I was turned off it completely. The server met me at the front totally distracted and waved me in to seat myself. She brought the menu and I ordered a small salad and haddock fish and chips. That's when I noticed the flies around which were annoying and gross. She brought me the salad which had slimy tomatoes and soft cucumbers. The lettuce looked alright so I only ate that part. The dressing didn't taste like typical yummy Greek salad dressing. After that I noticed she sat down at an empty table in the corner and was eating her own pasta out of a plastic container. She brought my fish n chips to me and I noticed the tartar sauce was just regular packaged tartar sauce, I don't know what everyone else it talking about because I've had much better tartar sauce. The fish was meh and the fries were not tasty at all. Even with ketchup and vinegar. I didn't finish my meal, the server came over with pasta sauce around her mouth and asked if I wanted it to go, I said no thank you. Paid my bill and left. I will not be returning here to eat and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I've been eating heritage all my life, for the last 27 years. I ordered a dish from skip the dishes and they literally gave me 5 fries. For being the leaders of fish and chips, it's sad this is what they've amounted to. You definitely lost a customer.

Love, love love this place. I am a pescatarian and this is my go to place for fish. All staff are very friendly and creat a place that feels like you are at home. You never feel rushed. Have taken my friends and family to this location and they too loves it there. I have eaten at other locations and now I would never go anywhere else.

The waitress was very abrupt and she acts like she doesn't want to do her job. The fish does not taste or look like it's fresh. It like froze bought, fish of the batter was too brown and too much fries. This was the special, not worth $10. Last time going back.

Have been going to Heritage for about 10 years, almost on a weekly basis. Love the staff and always get excellent, friendly service. The food has always been hot and top notch. Excellent value for your money. If you haven't tried Heritage Fish and Chips, you need to. You will not be disappointed.
