Went to get biodegradable waste bags for my dog, found a box that said eco friendly on it but said absolutely nothing about the bags being biodegradable. When I asked the female cashier I was met with a condescending attitude explaining that "they wouldn't just say eco friendly on the box if the bags weren't biodegradable". The nature in which it was said was fairly unacceptable and standoff-ish, not to mention that simply repeating the vague statement on the box does not serve as proof. Used to come here for years but since Eli left, it just hasn't been the same.

I always go to Mondou cause I have 4 bunnies and rescue other small animals regularly and most places don't have small animal foods/accessories but they do . It's a bit pricey but with a point's card you'll get your money back quick if you go often. Get all your pet supplies. Pro tip, they have a room where you can wash your dog for free. (Though you have to make a 5$ deposit while you wash your dog in case you leave the room super dirty). The room has a Stainless steel tub and a vacuum dryier. Bring shampoo, towels and a treat for your dog. You can call in advance to reserve your spot, same day reservations are possible. The staff is really friendly.

I'm sorry, I used to like going to this store as a regular customer spending a good amount of money per week but a few days ago I went with my dog. I was the only person in the store and because all the attention he was getting, he got very excited and he peed a little but for the first time ever inside the store while I was looking for his food. I apologized since it was embarrassing enough but the staff (3 people working at that time) told me that I had to clean it up. I did since yes, I understand it's my dog but I don't think I'll be going to spend my money at this place ever again. I mean they were 3 staff members, not doing anything at all. Not helping me find what I need, not doing much but to talk and chat and certainly not helping me with the situation, instead instructed a co-worker to hand me over the cleaning products to clean the mess. This is the kind of things that is expected to happen in those businesses. If not, you wouldn't let people bring their dogs in. At vet offices and dog daycares, it's never an issue and they don't make you clean up when it happens because it happens. We spend at least a good $50 per week and because the raw food fridge is never fully stocked, we end up buying whatever is left in it. If this is how you treat your clients I'm no longer interested in spending my money at this place. We'll do the extra and walk our dog to a pet store that is more attentive to customers and willing to help them out.
