Micro-Spender treated like gold by the owner herself! Thanks Debbie, after 15 years of buying my mice at Finaddicts in Kingston, your Total Aquatics store in Napanee has won me over! Kingston folks, I've discovered it's worth the drive to Napanee if you're buying live mice - all four that I bought at Finaddicts in Kingston to start a mini home breeding program died within a month from health issues and the owner at Finaddicts was not kind-mannered in her response to my concerns. Given my previous small business experience as a mouse and rat breeder (my first business as a teenager) I know how to take care of rodents and I never experienced any such unusual fatality in my animals. So do what I did and bring your dollars to Total Aquatics where Debbie charges just $2.79 each for a regular adult live mouse instead of the $3.99 each that I paid for infertile and unhealthy mice at Finaddicts. Frozen feeder mice are a lot cheaper in Napanee too! Thanks Debbie, youda best!

I think I have found my new preferred aquarium store. This is a bit out of the way for me and other places are much closer but the knowledge of the staff and quality of the livestock just cannot be beat. You can see quite clearly the pride the owners take in the quality of their fish and coral. The staff spent well over an hour with me helping me get the most out of my small tank. While small, this store is jammed packed with a great selection of products. Even if it's out of the way for you, I cannot recommend this shop enough.

Its a great family owned tropical fish store, they have everything you will ever need from basic to advanced supplies and the knowledge to help out new individuals getting into the hobby. They do try and accommodate to your budget and have no problem cutting a dew dollars off to give you a great deal! I absolutely love coming into the store to see what new fish and corals they get in. 9 outta 10 all day! My only concern is pricing online is different to what's listed inshop so maybe check their online prices first before purchase. (Ex. Fritz 7 16oz bottle.) ONLINE $19.99 INSTORE $26.99 There may be other examples but this is what my experience was.

After almost 10 years of dealing with total aquatics I have yet to find a pet store that even comes close to them. They have ordered every crazy animal that I've asked for, Tyler even tried for over a year to get me a certain fish, which he did. I've had pet stores say this is what we have and that's it, not total aquatics. Not once was I ever treated wrong. They simply do things right. I have never seen a sick fish for sale from them, or a sick animal for sale. They are all great, honest hard working people. Napanee would be a sad spot if it ever lost total aquatics GREATEST PET STORE IN CANADA

Due to Covid the owners of total aquatics have done great in ensuring the safety of me and my family still providing great friendly knowledgeable service in the Salt water Community. They have clearly marked the door as appointment only and even tapped off the entrance and installed a doorbell for customer service. If other stores model themselves like Total Aquatics we will stop the spread. Everyone needs to do their part and be respectful in these difficult times. Just because you are not happy with a store respecting health guidelines is not a reason to leave a negative review. Your words and clicks can have larger consequences.

There is an old curmudgeon who haunts this store. He will pull the door closed while looking you in the eye and spy on you during your visits(if you can get in). He's a crass fool. If you appreciate being treated like a person with an end to your life one day, a person who does not have unlimited time, like us all; and not just his means for cash, his way of making comfortable money out of YOUR MONEY; GO ELSEWHERE. This is my hometown pet supplies store and I have been going at least three times a month for the last three years, so it is unfortunate that I will not be visiting again. Greatest little store! They always have great suggestions for bullet-proof plants! I have an giant Anubias that is trying to lift the lid on the aquarium, java ferns and swords. Moneywort is the fastest growing plant in my low light aquarium. My 2 new cherry shrimp are doing great! Thanks Tyler for checking and rechecking my water parameters until they were perfect. Staff is always helpful and accommodating despite the restrictions. It has everything I need for my freshwater tanks and more. Thanks again guys!

Total Aquatics is by far the most impressive ‘fish store’ I have ever been in!! They are organized, knowledgeable, and have such a great selection. They have been so helpful in getting me started, helping me maintain, and now upgrading and improving my small salt water tank. We just purchased our first lizard as well. They are all so helpful with helping us choose the best critters for our space and experience level. Going to get supplies is always a special treat. They are a proudly family-owned and definitely family oriented business. They are all very professional and respectful of the new Covid guidelines. I always feel safe and comfortable when I visit.

This store has really become a high end Aquatics store. Good selection of marine, freshwater, and pond livestock. They also carry a wide variety of equipment from the basic aquarium needs to really high tech, computer controlled systems. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Be advised, they are APPOINTMENT ONLY for in store shopping now but also offer curbside pick-up. Got this awesome pleco today!

being someone that has lived in many places and literally traveled the country, id have to say this is one of the best fish/reptile pet stores I've ever been a patron of. the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the dedicated family staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I literally went from a purely freshwater fish keeper to a reef keeper with the help of their expertise in reef keeping. they can get all the products that I've requested in a quick timeframe even during the covid times. and despite covid they have maintained the positive attitude and want to continue doing the out standing work they do. in my opinion well worth the 45 min drive i always leave happy more informed and having spent more then planed lol, full disclaimer on that they in my experience have never tried to upsell me. fantastic job Total aquatics keep it up

Total Aquatics is located downtown Napanee. It's not a very big store but it looks like it could be for me inside. It has a wide variety of fish accessories anything that you need that has to do with aquariums. The staff are very friendly very knowledgeable and it is run by a family-owned company. The variety of the fish that they have are incredible and they can accommodate any type of amount that you need or they can order it for you.
